Easy to run letters, year end tax statements and top donor reports. Pros ELEO provides a ton of functionality and organization at an incredibly reasonable price for small to medium nonprofits. Their onboarding process to import all data was very comprehensive and there are many ways to customize the platform to make it easier to access and grow donor support. The best part is the email support - my specific queries have always received detailed instructions from the ELEO support team within hours. Cons Would love to be able to run a report on Monthly donors or be able to add our logo to templates. ELEO fits the bill and then some! Customer service is amazing, the support in their online library is extensive, and ELEO does everything we need it to do at a price we can afford. If you're shopping around for a CRM database, this is the one! They have the best customer service around, and I can easily speak with a person or get a quick email response if I have an issue! Definitely recommend. Pros Eleo is very affordable, especially for a small nonprofit like us! They always have the best customer service. If I ever have an issue, I hear back within the hour with the help I need and also tutorials! Cons Eleo works best on Google Chrome. I prefer to use Mozilla firefox, so this is my biggest con; however, it is an easy fix and not a problem to work around! They work with you extensively at the beginning to help get you started, then they are there on the phone for quick questions in the future. Pros It's very easy to use for all the basic features. As I got more familiar with it, I started using the advanced features such as adding a custom data entry field, and uploading my new donations vs manual data entry. It also integrates with Quickbooks Online if you prefer. The way I do our books made this feature not quite right for me, but I can see it being a great feature for others. Cons When manually entering new donations, it's a little cumbersome to have to search for the donor, open the donor record, then click on gifts, then add a gift. When I have a lot to enter, it's irritating. But I decided to just upload the new deposits. All you have to do is have a routine Excel spreadsheet and enter your donations quickly there. I routinely have a current downloaded list from Eleo with all the donors account numbers. I add the account number to the donation uploads, then upload the file. So quick and easy. Reason for choosing Eleo I looked at 3 or 4 different products. Eleo was the first one where I looked at the way their menu worked and immediately saw how easy it was to use. Review Source KE Ken E. Pros We chose eleo because of its ability to keep track of couples with different last names. It keeps track of both informal and formal salutations, so our communications can be personalized appropriately. Best of all, the customer support staff at eleo truly wants us to be successful. They are very knowable, patient, and friendly. Cons Getting the mail merge working proved a challenge. Once the right settings were in place, the process has become fast and easy. As we are growing our operations, we find that we are also starting to use other functions within the program to assist us with efficiency. Pros The transition from our previous software was quick and easy. First, I did not worry about losing information with Eleo. Second, there are not many features provided that we would never use. The software program we moved from started making decisions about software and more importantly payment processing systems that simply did not work for our smaller organization. Even though we had to make a transition to ELEO, it has been very beneficial due to the simplicity of the software and the support included. Pros As a smaller nonprofit, we moved from a more expensive CRM to ELEO, which has saved our foundation a significant amount of money over the past few years. Despite being less expensive than our former CRM, all of our needs have been met and the software is easy to use. One area that is most impressive is the responsiveness of the support team. ELEO helped us with our transition that went very smoothly, and they continue to offer prompt and helpful solutions to any questions we may have. We are very happy with our decision to move to ELEO! September 8, 2020 5.0 For twenty years our organization got by with incomplete spreadsheets and scattered files before finally moving all of our donor records to Eleo. Even tiny organizations need Eleo! We can now track trends in giving. We can send email and personalized printed letters with ease. Our tech-adverse founders now see the value of a donor management system, and Eleo was the user-friendly vehicle that took them there. Eleo's customer service is the key: our questions and concerns are answered almost immediately through a personal email or phone call. We definitely recommend Eleo! Pros As a very small local nonprofit, we needed donor management software that was easy for 1-2 people to administer. We needed something efficient and easy to learn at an affordable price. Eleo was the answer. The stellar customer service and training is personal and fast. Database entry is intuitive and data is easy to manage. We especially like the customizable webforms (contact, donation) that easily integrate into the databases. We seamlessly correlated our Braintree and MailChimp accounts with Eleo. Eleo is perfect for tiny organizations like ours. We have a robust management system with a price we can afford. Cons There is one feature I hope Eleo will be able to add someday. I would like to be able to create videoclips to send to donors through Eleo. Just the ability to upload videoclips to Eleo would be a nice feature. They are always willing to work with us and train us at any given time. We have been able to keep better records of our donors and pull reports based on their support. Each program campus is able to keep up-to-date records of their volunteers, participants and donors. It has also been a great tool for keeping track of the Fundraising Events (guests count, expenses and much more). Eleo's monthly price was unbeatable compared to others! Cons Capability of customizing some of the reports. Need to create more filtering options. Several times I had to reach out to the Eleo team for assistance as the reports had to be done in their back end. There are a great deal of user-friendly features to this platform, and they are willing to consider customer feedback for continued growth. Pros I come from a Raiser's Edge background and that was definitely not affordable for the company I am with now. This software is easy to use, and has \*most\* of the features I need. The integration with online giving and event registration pages is good, though a bit awkward to process. Many of the features are great, including the functionality of sending acknowledgements, receipts, tracking donor information, and allowing for customization of campaigns. Integration of online giving with Braintree has been complicated and credit card scammers have been able to make successful transactions. Eleo is looking at building in a reCaptcha. Customer support has been fantastic, and they are very willing to hear ideas for improvement. Cons I miss the query and reporting of Raiser's Edge. There is the ability to build customized reports, but they do not format in the nice, presentable formats of their regular reports. Mailing list-building is awkward. Cons Event registration continues to improve and their web form is on the schedule for a major upgrade so these two pain points are on the way to being remedied. Cons As with many software packages, it categorizes members by individuals and not also corporate with multiple individuals from the same organization. When we push the corporate member category, we'll continue to work with individuals and discount accordingly. Will also explore integrating into our website, i.e., for Board and member profiles automatically extracted from Eleo.
