Cons The biggest con i'd say is that the system will log you out way too fast. This can be a bit of a pain when trying to get things done. It has given us much better oversight of the company, especially when it comes to managing reservations and daily operations. I would highly recommend HQ Car Rental Software to any rental company without hesitation. On top of that, their customer service is excellent—always responsive and helpful whenever we need support. Pros User-friendly while still being powerful. It gives us complete control over our company operations, making everything smoother and more organized. The lack of customer service is a serious problem. I needed to book for a new customer, but their billing system failed — and no one responded from Sales or Support despite multiple emails. This is unacceptable for any software claiming to serve a business-critical function. It’s impossible to run a business when basic support and reliability are missing. I expected far better. Pros The software might be helpful if live support were actually available. In theory, the features seem promising, but without timely communication during outages or issues, it's impossible to rely on it. We need to be informed when there’s downtime so we can plan accordingly — sadly, that doesn't happen. Cons You’re completely on your own when something goes wrong. The platform is not user-friendly, and instead of focusing on business, we’re forced to spend time figuring out bugs and workarounds. Customer support is virtually non-existent, and it feels like they’ve abandoned users when help is most needed. Emails go unanswered, and there’s no urgency or accountability in resolving issues. Pros Initially unsure about using the software as I had local options however am now confident I made the right choice. We started renting straight away with a professional integration and system with our website. I needed assistance on many items initially which wasn't an issue for the team. I was given multiple options to assist me learn the system including zoom meetings, step by step videos and handbook. The investment has been worth it, however the lack of an integrated online payment platform is a shortcoming I hope gets resolved for our country soon. We delayed implementation for a long time, fearing the operational disruption of switching from totally paper system to online but we were able to operate both systems in parallel so the transition was mostly pain free. Fairly intuitive design so that even with minimal training time spent, we're up and running and gaining proficiency daily just by navigating through the logical design, finding how to perform the every task. His calendar stays heavily booked but when we really need him he can ususally work us unto his schedule within a few days. Cons All the power of HQ software comes at the expense of some complexity.
