As with any product, it has its pros and cons.

Pros

Integration with our financial software. Configurable reports. Ease of use in payroll management and processing. Ease of use in time off requesting, life events, and benefit management. I9 management and verification. The implementation and customer support teams have been great to work with.

Cons

No 360 EDI feed for our benefits. Tax allocation issues with crews working in multiple states. No option to upload person documents per employees, just has company upload. Can't customize access/permission per managers and administrators, strictly role based. We have a parent company with multiple subsidiaries, there is no way to transfer between without termination and rehire, which makes a mess with benefits and tenure. :(

Pros

Professional and knowledgeable staff. Never had any issues with Payroll, FSA, ACA, NDI and Tax support. Specialists were always available. Questions and issues always handled in the appropriate amount of time.

Pros

I like the most that I have had the same Payroll specialist \[sensitive content hidden\] who is the best at her job and makes my life and job that much easier knowing she will be every week to take our payroll and all is completed correctly!

Cons

Nothing really, Of course everyone would like to receive a less expensive invoice.

Reason for choosing PrimePay

It was just the first company we went with. I believe all those years back when we first started with Prime Pay they were referred to us by another contractor

It has been good as long as I am working with my point person. The response time of the general support team is a little slow.

Pros

The ease of set up and the responsiveness of the point person helping with the setup.

Cons

As the administrator, I wish I could make more changes on my clients accounts without having to call support. Like changing a payroll schedule, updating the SUI rate, etc.

Reason for choosing PrimePay

\[sensitive content hidden\] being involved was a huge selling point for us. He came in and made us feel very comfortable with changing the software and giving up some of our control.

Long, painful, stressful, anxiety riddled, and financially draining.

Pros

NOTHING!!! NOTHING! and a little bit more NOTHING!

CONS= Customer service! Support! Timely responses! I am a new business owner, I opened an account, and quickly learned I didn't need PrimePay services. I contacted my account manager and tried to close and cancel my account. Dispute never actually using any services they said I had a slim chance of actually getting a refund for the couple of months in 2023 that I had my account. Since FORMALLY requesting the account cancelation the way my account manager instructed me to back in November of 2023, I was AND still being charged!!! Since formally requesting to cancel my account, I have been charged over $2300!!! For the love of my business, please STOP charging me for something that I clearly DONT want! HAVENT used once, and desperately want to cancel!! Now I'm left desperately hoping that the company will do the right thing and refund my money they stole and ACTUALLY CANCLE my account! AND please PLEASE update your cancelation and refund process!! The fact that I have been fighting to cancel my account for over 6 months is astonishing! How many escalations case requests do I have to submit before someone actually reviews my account?

My overall experience is that now that we are set up everything seems to be running pretty smooth and all the paperwork seems to be set up on the portal and as well as constant email updates.

Pros

What I liked is the follow up and set up of the Paperwork. It is a lengthy process, but once you get it together, everything seems to fall into place really well.

Cons

There’s not other than I It would be nice to have someone to talk to in person, but otherwise everything worked out great on email and phone.

I am not keen on creating a ticket for every issue that we have. I also feel that employees should be able to go to Prime Pay directly if they have an issue with Primepay. When we transitioned over to Prime Pay i was fielding over 300 employees issues. Today if an employee has an issues they should have a customer support team for all of the employees.

Pros

The Platform is very easy to use and very intuitive.

Cons

The technology that i am used to is not there

Cons

The time it takes the system to process payroll is one downfall of the system. If they could get the system to process instantly, it would be a much better system to work in.

Cons

PrimePay is getting very big as a company, and we are starting to see the fallout from this. I am most comfortable with smaller companies and one-on-one, personalized service, and like to deal with one person who knows our business.

Pros

I like the fact that prime pay will handle the payroll tax payments and quarterly filing and end of year W2 process.

Cons

Customer service is terrible. We are constantly having issues with our payroll taxes not being paid on time and receiving penalties that we shouldn't receive. We should have more ability to set up things in prime pay our selves (example accruals)

Website is very clunky and impossible for employees to use unless they are using the website. Apps only work for iPhone users and not for androids. Payroll is extreamly slow to load and takes longer to reclculate payroll than it is to upload hundreds of employee data.

Pros

The implementation team was very responsive.

Cons

We went live with SyncHR/Primepay January 1, as of today 8/14, Q1 and Q2 taxes have not been filed properly, and I have not received any responses on how they will be resolved. I send a follow up email weekly, but there have been no updates in 3 months. Implementation went rough and all employees W4 information was uploaded incorrectly, causing problems on employee taxes. Employee direct deposits uploaded incorrectly. The platform was literlly slapped together in hopes that we would find and solve their issues when we went live, instead of giving us the time to test everything ahead of time. 8 months into this project, I am still finding issues where I was told was resolved, but are not. Not a single ticket has been resolved. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Reason for choosing PrimePay

We were told customer service was top knotch and the ticket resolution times were within hours. This is a LIE!

Pros

PrimePay is easy for everyone to use. The staff is able to easily clock in and out and access their payroll information. As an admin, processing time sheets and payroll is efficient and fairly straightforward.

Cons

It can be difficult to access effective customer service at times. While learning the program, I spent a lot of time trying to reach the proper department for support.
