I have experience with 5 other payroll systems this is one of the better ones.

Pros

It's reliable, support is decent, friendly

Cons

Some desirable functions are not there. (Ex. can't print an old pay stub) Others are not obvious or easy to use. Reporting is just OK

Nothing, Nothing, NothingMy employer used Health Equity before and so much easier to use and contact if I had a question.

Cons

When i rolled my HSA to PrimePay have been unable to login and find my balance or move money into an investment you advertise

Nothing really. It isn't an intuitive or useful system.

Cons

When you converted from the old site to the new site the transition was a joke. The link to the old site takes you to some unrelated entity and the login.primepay.com site has a bunch of unintelligible choices. Emails from the system are unhelpful. FAIL

Availability, accessibility and relatively easy to use for adding and changing employees. Standard reports are easy to access and print.

Cons

Running custom reports is not user-friendly. No instructions were offered at inception and it's impossibly to learn from the website.

Exceptional service.

Pros

The time machine technology is unlike any other software. Other companies have this similar technology, but the way you are able to view and utilize going back to a specific date in time and even submit payroll changes is something special. The group at SyncHR is also great to work with, they have no hidden agenda except to sale you a great product. I highly recommend giving them a look.

Cons

There is very little to complain about as they are so easy to work with that if you have issues, they are willing to work with you to make changes that make sense.

I'm trying to use PrimePay for our HRA program. Since migrating to the WEX Health Cloud the program has spun into a black hole - I'd never recommend anyone sign up for this

Not much of anything. We have had nothing but problems with the WEX Health Cloud and our ability to sign in since we were force migrated to this platform.

Cons

Customer Service is non-existent. Customer support is almost always impossible to connect with. Hold times are so long you are encouraged to leave a message - Sometimes they call back -

I say this as a completely self-taught programmer who has been working with computers for over thirty years (since I was 15-- I'm not THAT old). I'm not the kind of idiot who needs help with Excel. SyncHR is a steaming pile and I would only recommend it to people whom I would like to see die, painfully. I've been using it for over a year as a manager, and familiarity only breeds greater hatred.

Cons

The interface on this application is absolutely terrible. You are presented with reams of useless information, but it is nearly impossible to find what you want. Every action requires fifteen mouse clicks. The interface is totally unintuitive and cluttered.

Pros

User Experience (UX) is spot-on...intuitive, comprehensive, clear, with all the checks & balances without being cumbersome/complicated..all reports are readily available, almost real time! Should you need support, help, or answers, a very knowledgeable Specialist is quickly available via phone.

Prime Pay has been exceptional in meeting our payroll needs. We have two businesses and both businesses require extra attention each week (on some level). Our payroll representative is superb. 100% of the reason we are still with Prime Pay is a direct result of the customer service we receive.

Pros

I phone in my payroll. I love the aptitude and level of service our representative gives us. The reports are easy to read.

Cons

The reports are easy to read, extensive yet concise.

Pros

The program is very self explanatory, and the ease of changing or looking up employees information makes it a pleasure to use.

Cons

Although you can always reach customer service when needed, I find it is hard to contact our representative by phone promptly.

SyncHR is the first company I have ever worked with that provides real-time retro pay calculations. The combination of some configurable rules along with how T&A and Employee Scheduling is handled has allowed us to reduce our payroll processing time by 55%.

Cons

The user defined fields are somewhat limited and look forward to 2016 when this is supposed to receive an enhancement.

It's not working for me.

Pros

Nothing right now. It's too hard to get into, should be automatically available via an email on pay date.

Cons

You should be just sending payroll stubs automatically to all employees that are forced to use your system. We shouldn't have to try to log in, which isn't working for any of my emails, and be forced to look for our paystubs. It should be sent automatically on the paydate, then employees could sign in from the email to look at the paycheck stub. Then they can save their log in and not try to find the site, find the log in, etc.
