The ability to customize flows with purchase history, SKU's, behaviors is simple and straightforward. Extremely user friendly software. Pros First of all, the customer support is hands down the best customer support ever. They will get down to the nitty gritty and resolve your problems for you, while being patient, helpful and kind. There's also so many softwares this can get integrated into that I love the flexibility of it. Cons Honestly, I have absolutely no complaints about this software. The technology is the best for the price point, customer service rocks, and its so user friendly - i have confidence that anyone could learn email marketing automation simply with this platform! I think they hype some of the buyer indicators and data collection, which is fine but nothing special, but it's a great email platform. Pros The IP warming and migration process was very smooth with no hiccups. The Klaviyo team are experts and it shows. We felt confident in their ability to successfully transition ESP platforms. The product itself is quite good and does everything you would expect it to. Cons Like all ESPs, it has it's own unique idiosyncrasies. No deal breakers, but some of the functions can be a bit clunky. It was simple and easy to get started and grow our email list. We used email captures, campaigns, automations, and so much more through Klaviyo and we were able to get them out there without any issues and troubles with using the site. Pros Klaviyo is great for beginners. The campaigns are super simple and easy to set up, their templates work great. Once you sync your store to your account, it is very easy to roll out automated emails and campaigns to your customers. Flows are easy to put together and get started for automated emails through your site. Cons If you are a small business that needs to save money where you can, Klaviyo may not be for you. Their prices increase, as the number of customers you have on your email list increases. We were also having issues with the authenticity of our emails affecting our score and Klaviyo support was of no help to us. We ended up having to reach out to a third party to help us with our email score and getting it up so our emails wouldn't go to our customer's spam folder in their inboxes. Review Source Álvaro M. Cons We would prefer Klaviyo to be cheaper - it's getting more and more expensive and we might need to look for an alternative soon. Our team was able to integrate with it quickly. It is very well documented. Its API allows us to also pass over information from other tools we use. My team is very happy with this platform and has no intention of moving away. Pros The platform is built for E-commerce. It offers out of the box integration with Shopify and other marketing platforms. The platform is easy to use and understand, but still had powerful features that can allow any customization. Its customer support team was great when we were migrating from Mailchimp. It has plugins that connect it to other tools such as Facebook, Zapier. Cons Some of its features can be buggy at times. It's a great system I use everyday. Pros Klaviyo is the best Ecommerce email platform. It's the place for your lifetime value and segmentation strategy. And the customer service is second to none. It has so many features, and can do anything you need. Cons It's expensive, so if you're looking for something cheap, look elsewhere. Since it's also tiered, you should have a minimum number of subscribers and revenue per month to make it worth it. The usage of targeting correct customers helped us to see the points where we missed before. Pros Klaviyo could be the best when it comes to behaviour based automations especially building customer profiles and targets the correct customers when creating and building the sms or e-mail campaigns. Also it can create and simulate campaigns before launching them and gives you a forecast for future months and years. Cons Has lots of reporting and analytics features but customizing them are not so practical, high management might not see them appealing. I don't have enough prospects to leaving their free trial, but I'm getting there. And though I like Mailchimp email templates and Segunos straight-forward interface, I might choose Klaviyo in the end because they have the better intelligence and statistics that will be vital for my business growth. Pros Klaviyo has seamless integration with Shopify, the e-commerce platform I use to operate my business. Their dashboard is most compelling, with detailed information about customers and prospects, making strategic decisions easier to take. I also love that I can compare my performance with the industry standard. I could not find any other email marketing provider offering that level of intelligence. Cons Klaviyo email templates are a bit simpler than Mailchimp or Seguno, so if you want to grab your prospect's attention, it may be a little more difficult. Tested their SMS option but looked for a better option. It's not the less expensive but it gets the job done. Very user-friendly. Pros Klavyio integrates with many products and it's easy to set up. Its integration with Shopify is the main reason why we chose it and it allows us to create segments based on the customer's behavior. Their customer support is great and willing to find the answers you're looking for, creating test scenarios or flows if needed. Cons Their pricing/plans were a bit confusing and changed recently making it less cost-effective. Tested it for SMS marketing but found a cheaper and more user-friendly option instead. The flows are very powerful and everything is so easy to use. They keep releasing updates too so it’s it’s very good value for money. Pros Definitely the drag and drop email template builder and the flexibility it has for mobile. The sign up forms are just as easy to make. The whole platform is very user friendly. Cons The sms campaigns are pricey and you’re very limited on character count. Watch out for your sms usage as if you go over you’ll be auto upgraded to the next payment tier.
