Overall, our experience with Klaviyo has been extremely positive. It’s reliable, powerful, and gives us full control over our email marketing. We’ve seen better engagement, stronger results, and feel much more confident in our marketing since using Klaviyo. It’s a platform we genuinely rely on and would absolutely recommend.

Pros

Klaviyo has been an absolute game-changer for our business. Creating and managing emails is super easy. Whether it’s campaigns or automated flows, everything is organized and simple to manage.

Cons

The biggest downside is the pricing as your list grows—it can get expensive over time. It’s not the cheapest platform out there, but it’s 100% worth it.

My overall experience has been very positive. Klaviyo provides the flexibility and depth needed to run advanced, data-driven email marketing across multiple agents. The automation features, segmentation tools, and personalization options offer far more possibilities than most competitors. Aside from the profile-based pricing, the platform has been a major upgrade in capability and efficiency for our organization.

Pros

Klaviyo offers incredibly strong personalization and segmentation capabilities. I can create highly targeted, agent-specific emails with dynamic content and custom properties, without running into limitations. The flow builder is powerful, flexible, and ideal for organizations that rely on data-driven automation. Integrations and data syncing work smoothly, which allows us to tailor communication to each traveller or agent effortlessly.

Cons

The main downside is the pricing model based on total profiles, even if you’re not actively emailing those contacts. This makes list management more expensive for organizations with large inactive segments. There’s also a small learning curve due to the wide feature set, but beyond that, the platform performs extremely well.

Overall I’ve been very happy with Klaviyo which is why I’ve continued to use them for many years now. As an online retailer, it’s a perfect match.

Pros

I love the ease of managing my email and sms marketing with Klaviyo. I’ve used their software for over 6 years and I love that they are always adding new features and making flows even more powerful. I love the ease of connecting Klaviyo to my Shopify store and other apps.

Cons

I wish that email marketing was cheaper, but I feel Klaviyo is pretty competitive. I also wish that sms was included for the price of email instead of an add-on.

Overall, my experience with Klaviyo has been great. I plan on continuing my relationship with them for many years.

Pros

Klaviyo has been a great program in our marketing stack. I love the ease of use and how simple it was to integrate with my Shopify website and other tech I'm using to manage my shop. I also really like how the widgets look on the site.

Cons

The only thing I wish Klaviyo would improve on is their reviews integration with TikTok Shop. I would love to be able to pass reviews from TikTok Shop to my website, or from my website to TikTok Shop. I see that this is functionality that others reviews platforms have with TikTok Shop.

It's the industry standard for a reason, but it's not frictionless. We use it daily for email and SMS across segmented lists, triggered sends, and campaign reporting. The core functionality works. The UX and support don't match what you're paying at scale. Worth it, but there's room to improve on the operator experience side.

Pros

Segmentation is genuinely powerful once you learn it. Having email and SMS in one platform makes targeting and list management way cleaner than splitting tools. Shopify integration is solid, flows trigger reliably, and the data is there if you know where to look.

Cons

Reporting is clunky and the UI buries things that should be front and center. Building anything beyond a basic flow takes way too many clicks.

Klaviyo remains the easiest way for marketers to easily segment, personalize, and create behavior based automations. It is an industry standard that plays nicely with other marketing software, and is an essential to any Shopify user. Integrations outside of the Shopify world can however be much more implementation intensive.

Pros

Klaviyo continues to be the industry leader in helping e-commerce store operators, easily segment, personalize, and set up automations that drive revenue, and build owned audiences.

Cons

I don't like how you have to pay more for the advanced analytics module. These are features that should be baked into the core product.

Probably my favourite ESP, which offers a well-rounded set of CRM functionality. Often a platform like this excels in one area with others feeling like afterthoughts, but Klaviyo is well-balanced and suitable for a wide range of businesses. It plays particularly well for e-commerce with an easy integration into Shopify, and the whole platform is intuitive and user-friendly.

Pros

While expensive, there's really no other email marketing software like it. The built-in segmentation and integration with Shopify make it hard to compete with.

Cons

Expensive! And it seems like it just keeps going up. They've continued to add features to try and justify the costs, but it gets harder to keep up as a small business. You need to be making significant revenue from email in order to outweigh the expense.

Pros

I think Klaviyo is great because it makes it really easy to create personalised campaigns. The automation has helped our numbers grow by double and detailed insights has been great for analytics.

Cons

Klaviyo has become quite expensive as our list has grown, it was quite tricky to learn it straight away, compared to simpler email tools.

Appearance is everything in the visa world. I use this service to distribute monthly immigration newsletters. It makes us look and feel established and credible it helps us differentiate ourselves from smaller agencies but I essentially pay for shopping features that I never use.

Pros

The drag and drop editor lets me create very professional looking official policy updates without a graphic designer.

Cons

The reporting dashboard is no other than e-commerce sales revenue, which is not applicable for consulting business. Help desk usually provide generic advice which is best for Retailers.

When it comes to hospitality, the importance of relationship with former guests is instrumental towards direct bookings. I have been using this tool to send monthly newsletters and holiday gifts. It renders our brand as high-end and refined in spite of the fact that I frequently believe we are spending money on the high-tech retail functions which we simply do not use.

Pros

The customization choices are amazing that enable us to design graphically appealing emails that present our hotel facilities beautifully without hiring a coder.

Cons

The reporting dashboard is highly oriented towards e-commerce revenue and therefore it is hard to follow the engagement-based metrics that are of greater interest to hospitality such as open rates on informational emails.

They host weekly webinars, which are usually worthwhile and useful for the team to attend to learn about email marketing best practices.

Pros

We switched to Klaviyo from a different product (Hubspot) because the increase in prices and features we didn't need to use. Klaviyo's email building function is perfect for what we need. It's easy to use, and the ability to build lists and segments is useful and also user friendly.

Cons

The recent price increases have come unexpectedly where they now charge for x amount of profiles, this wasn't something we expected when we renewed our contract. The support can be quite slow to reply.

We love using Klayvio. It's one of the best in the business for email marketing. Great analytics. A little clunky when you're first learning how to use it but easy once you are trained.

Cons

It's quite an expensive platform. We wanted to expand to sms marketing and find it quite pricey.

It’s handled everything I’ve needed on the email and SMS side, from launches to evergreen flows. I’ve used it to drive campaigns, recover lost sales, and keep segments warm—and I trust the data coming out of it. Once it’s set up right, it saves time and pays off.

Pros

The automations are where it really shines. I’ve set up flows based on user behavior, abandoned carts, post-purchase sequences—all without needing to jump through hoops. The segmentation tools are sharp, and I like being able to test variations without second-guessing the data. It’s built for people who actually want to understand what’s working.

Cons

The interface can feel dense at first. It takes a little time to figure out where everything lives, especially if you’re juggling multiple lists or trying to integrate with a third-party platform. Once you’re past the learning curve it’s fine, but it’s not something I’d hand to a first-timer without a walkthrough.

It’s very easy to use, all the extra help documentation and free courses it offers. Syncs to Shopify and has good reporting.

Cons

That it’s a bit behind in how customer email is changing now. There are some things we’d like to be able to do but it’s limitations prevent us- especially in the AI sector

Working with Klaviyo has been great. There hasn't been any major bugs or issues, and when I did find out, I showed them and they fixed it quickly. It's nice to have a company that responds fast to issues.

Pros

Their company continually develops new products that help merchants achieve greater success. They also have a suite of tools, so it's a whole lot more than just email.

Cons

They recently updated their billing which makes it so you have to really stay on top of your list. It's not the worst thing in the world, we were able to get the billing back down after a lot of cleaning.

We recommend Klaviyo to our clients because we have become super familiar and fast in it.

Pros

The interface to build emails is super easy to use - it has the best email builder of all platforms we have researched and used. It has the best data/analytics of all platforms we have researched and used. The support team is very active on white glove accounts.

Cons

Now that they have gotten big, the platform is expensive. The support team is very into pushing segment strategies.

We went through several well-known software packages. When we changed our website from Magento to Shopify, we looked for the best CRM solution compatible with Shopify, and Klavyio proved to be the ideal tool. More and more start-ups are launching complementary services to Klaviyo, such as Wax (Whatsapp solution) and Loyoly (loyalty program), so we've managed to centralize all our tools around this solution.

Pros

After using several CRM solutions, Klaviyo proved to be the easiest to get to grips with. If you're on Shopify, it's the ideal solution, as it's perfectly suited to your needs. The real plus is the competence of the customer success managers.

Cons

Initially, Klaviyo was not translated into French, but this has since changed. Otherwise, very few weaknesses.

Klaviyo's features are comprehensive and more advanced compared to other platforms. I also like how helpful their customer support is every time I have problems with our account.

Cons

The pricing tier is a bit confusing regarding the number of active profiles and emails sent. Not having an Undo button for the flows is still what I'm looking for

Great. Klaviyo support team can't be beat, their live chat support members are so so helpful. Overall, the testing, AI tools, ease of the platform, deliverability, and results are just top tier.

Pros

Klaviyo is THEE most robust ESP. The AI tools, deep personalization, and ease of the platform can't be replicated.

Cons

Cost and pricing structure are not my favorite. I think their pricing has, and continues to go up each year and is only cost-effective if you're a huge brand.

We use them for our clients that have e-commerce business and want to utilize their customer contact info by doing email and sms blast / campaigns.

Pros

The amount of email and sms marketing features. Also the easy to use flow build to make sure you make making the most of your customer base and contacts.

Cons

The email and sms builder could be a bit more intuitive. But it's till better than most of it's competitor such as mailchimp.
