Not much changes since my last review 4 years ago. I can still see some room for improvements. Can't change the coaching app I use as I have a library for 200+ workouts saved on TrueCoach.

Pros

Great way to share workouts with clients. You can add own videos for the exercises, easy enough to use.

Cons

Client enter results for their workout. Exercise history function is not great, doesn't work properly, on Android you can't use the search function.

TrueCoach is, in my opinion, one of the best platforms for personal trainers who work closely 1:1 with clients and want a simple, powerful solution for programming and tracking. For my current needs, it became less ideal, but for in-person or hybrid coaching, I would still recommend it without hesitation.

Pros

I used TrueCoach for almost two years and really enjoyed it. The platform is flexible, the training plan builder works very well, and the customer support has always been excellent. For managing workouts and client communication, it’s straightforward and reliable.

Cons

My coaching focus shifted over time, and I found myself needing more automation around recurring habits, structured check-ins, and additional tools for nutrition coaching. TrueCoach wasn’t designed for that type of workflow, which made it harder to run a 100% online coaching business with a strong emphasis on behavior change.

It wasn’t bad, but didn’t have the features I need for a successful coaching business.

Pros

Add my own exercises with video and descriptions to be used to customize each client’s workouts

Cons

The workouts were really difficult to customize on a bigger scheme across clients and didn’t have a lot of flexibility.

I've used TrueCoach for over a year now. Our program is a basketball academy and we use this for a multitude of check-ins and plans. Without TrueCoach, we would've had to do manual check-ins, video recordings through WhatsApp, etc. Now we can pretty much do everything on TrueCoach instead of using multiple platforms

Pros

The fact that you can customize plans for each client and also for large groups. It makes the user experience seemless

Cons

Sometimes setting the assigned dates are bit confusing. Additionally, I wish you can see the compliance rate of different groups instead only of ALL clients.

Great and very easy and straighforward to use

Pros

Great app for coaches to set up clients program and very easy for clients to use with all tutorials. Also teacking progress and comment section is very useful

User-friendly, and very easy to understand.

The coach side of the app is not user-friendly and never works on a cell phone.
