Freshsales is a solid CRM - not too flashy or the most feature rich, but designed well and provides tools to track how excited your potential customers are with your brand (by seeing how much they engage with your website or in your app - potentially great features). I would continue using it beyond the trial, but the two drawbacks for me are the lack of number portability (in to the app or out - meaning you'd have to give up your phone numbers if you ever left) - and secondly - the cost involved with getting a webform-to-lead setup means you need the max plan - $49 per month.

Pros

\- Clean appearance - Flexibility with sales process - Responsive/active dev team - Email Read receipts - Ability to track user engagement with websites

Cons

\- If you want to use a web-to-lead form (which can be considered a common feature for a CRM), then you are required to sign up to the most comprehensive plan - i.e. $49 USD per month which seems crazy - I'd only recommend someone signing up to this if they need to the other "web engagement" features - otherwise your just wasting money on this app. - Non-ability to port Twilio numbers (or any external numbers). A big drawback but I have an email from their team indicating that they are likely to change this. - No dash board giving an overview of sales and leads (you only see leads when you log in) - Ability to see financials about clients from Xero integration would be great.

### "Terrible stay away from FreshSales"

Was offered direct support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] he is now a noshow and will not respond. Promised an upgrade conversion two months ago and still no conversion. Told them of the problems they promised fixes and help but would take them 2 months to get to it. No updates non responsive to e-mails.

Pros

Price was supposed to be easier to use for our sales staff. We have given a couple of years made due do to price but this is now costing us money and not helping sales.

Cons

Usefulness, No support that is helpful, reports are useless and having to change leads to contacts to get reports of sales. Waste of money and time

### "Not for when you're in a pinch"

We were looking for another CRM to have as a back-up to when their main CRM went down. We opted for Freshsales because the one thing they do have that the current CRM doesn't is built in calling. This piece posed to be the hardest to configure, not only initializing a number, getting additional members attached to the "hunt" tree. After a few weeks of trying to get it running efficiently as a possible "hot cut" incase of losing the main CRM, we scrapped the project, mainly because we just didn't have the extra time to sit on chat, waiting for them to respond etc...

Pros

User interface was rather easy. Tabs were standard that you'd expect to see on a CRM. Lot's of integration tools. It was very simple to sign up and start working with in a Dev. environment.

Cons

If you are starting from scratch, then you will definitely need lots of time and patience with regards to setting up emails, templates, territories, teams, VOIP etc.... Importing files was rather cumbersome and out of 800+ records, not a one imported. Error logs were nearly impossible to find and though the log is supposed to be included on the email showing the errors it wasn't. Support couldn't figure it out either.

Reason for choosing Freshsales

We liked the fact of the built in calling feature so we didn't have to reconfigure trunks etc.....but it turned out being more cumbersome, and a "hot cut" would've been virtually impossible.

### "CRM that makes our work easier"

We were previously working with Pipeline deals but soon found ourselves in a difficult position since they were not providing the service that we needed. We switched to Freshsales and after setting it up it made our lives easier and has improved the productivity of the team.

Pros

1\. Allows you to add multiple fields in all columns 2. Search bar shows all the details of the customer 3. Emails can be synchronized to see the history of the customer 4. Bulk Emails can easily be sent 5. Data exported is in separate files

Cons

Setting the software up was a bit time consuming and since it has so many features that one needs to understand which plan is most suitable for their use.

I give Freshsales a 4.50/5.00. Some of the native integration with other Freshtools could be a lot better. However, as an out of the box SaaS application, it is really good and easy to implement.

Pros

Freshsales is great. Started using it in 2017 and it has improved exponentially since then. I particularly like the ecosystem that Freshworks is creating where all of their Fresh tools can integrate with each other. I had looked at a ton of CRMs and Freshsales had the best functionality with the best integration for the money. The team was very accommodating.

Cons

US Based or Western Europe Support would be nice. The company is based in India and most of the support is there. Sometimes the accents are too much to overcome and I cannot understand the support personnel.

I received very good customer service with Fresh sales. Good return times on questions.

Pros

Affordable CRM. Easy to use and customize.

Cons

Nothing to complain about. There was nothing in particular that I could complain about. If anything I think after an update, the reporting was less user friendly for me and more complicated to understand, but Customer Service would help me setup anything I needed help with.

Reason for choosing Freshsales

I chose Freshsales because it had the features I was looking for: I was able to import my leads directly into Freshsales using Zapier, CRM was customizable similar to what I used with Salesforce, but more user friendly for someone is not an IT professional, offered phone numbers that could text to and from, automated workflows including texts and emails.

We are able to implement an end-to-end marketing automation, lead management, and customer relationship management system. It allows us tremendous insights into our customer's behaviors and preferences, serving up that information in a usable way.

Pros

The best thing about FreshSales is the customer support, bar none. Their agents are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and can solve pretty much any problem. Their development team implements feature requests very quickly and it's built on a very flexible framework, allowing you to customize it to your particular workflows very easily with an intuitive user interface.

Cons

There's very little I don't like about FreshSales. However, filed under "needs improvement", the layout of the forms gets a little tedious. It's single line after line of input field with no way to change the layout on the page. All-in-all, a minor infraction on an otherwise solid CRM.

I work alone. The software meets my needs in helping me track my interactions with clients. What I like in CRM system is it's easily accessible and quick to use, so it does not slow down my activities, but instead helps me be more productive. And Freshsales does that well.

Pros

Pros are numerous - some of them are: - integration with Exchange/Gmail for incoming mail, - many plans to choose from, - intuitive and easy to use, - good mobile app

Cons

Not many cons. What I would like to see are more integrations. Especially with Todoist for task management (I've been using Todoist for years and it is just the most accessible and streamlined task management app). I am not fully happy with the quality of customer support, but maybe I was just a bad luck (I do not require much of support).

Freshsales is my main way of tracking interactions with my clients. It helps me manage all the steps in these interactions and absolutely saves my time and reminds me of what still needs to be done to convert a customer. It is a godsend and I seriously believe my contracts would drop by about 50% if it wasn't for Freshsales.

Pros

Unlike other similar software, Freshsales looks great! It is intuitive to use and all information is well presented, making it easy to understand at a glance.

Cons

I could not find serious faults with Freshsales. My only issues were the response times from the customer support team when I had some issues (which were due to me not reading the manual, and not due to the software), and missing integration with Gmail for incoming mail. An integration with Gmail would be a fantastic addon that would make me migrate all of my communication to Freshsales.

It helped me with my team organization, but sometimes it pushes me towards extra work due to lack of deliverability. The support team can also be very casual that way when it comes to issues.

Pros

The system helped me set up my team at one place and get all the information integrated seamlessly. It lets me run reports and filters. Email campaigns are a good feature to automate out reach

Cons

Th reporting system is really bad. You cannot rely on if it is giving you the right report. I went back to calculating in an Excel sheet because of lack of confidence

Freshworks is good Value. It can do a variety of tasks, marketing journeys and sales emails are effective.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a little bit clunky and things like workflows do not work that effectively. We've found it hard to manage across different projects.

We have been using Freshales for over an year now and our experience has been quite superb. I really appreciate their thoughtful updates on regular intervals.

Pros

There are number of pros but I will highlight couple of them. 1) Even the free version of the CRM is quite impressive and fully packaged to handle an organization's CRM requirement. 2) The team pushes the update on regular basis and the updates are quite thoughtful 3) Email configuration 4) Custom url for your organization 5) Unlimited agents even in the free version 6) Tasks & Appointments is what I like the most

Cons

Proposal/Quotation and Invoicing is not there currently. but, I am sure the team will have it in their bucket list.

Overall, a great piece of software for a great price.

Pros

Has about 90% of the advanced features in pricier CRMs like Hubspot, for a fraction of the price. Super-friendly user interface, great support. Highly recommended!

Cons

APIs still need some work. Migrating from Hubspot is a bit messy - the built-in process doesn't work too well. Missing the ad platform integrations as in Hubspot.

It you are a small to mid range MSP I highly recommend using Freshsales in combination with Freshdesk ticketing, Ninja RMM, Cloudberry/AWS backups and Teamviewer. Freshsales has mastered the intuitive interface, making your life easier and pulling up information instantly. Sales pipeline, Robust tasks, Documentation and notes, Previous work performed, Appointments - including integration with GSuite and Google Calendar, you name it. We love it!

Pros

We are a small IT MSP. The tasks feature is underrated. You can set due dates and associate the tasks with a contact or account (business) or even your own business or department. You can then only list tasks that are due that day. This has single handedly made me more productive when feeling overloaded with things to do that do not have a set appointment. In general FS is flexible and extremely intuitive, allowing you to find your own best ways to use it. Amazing at integration with ticketing (Freshdesk), Notes, Tasks, our Network Documentation for a client, previous work done for a clients, everything is one click a way.

Cons

We've seen one bug with time zones and task due dates but in general the company is always perfecting and listening so we are not worried about it.

Customer support is not up to the mark. They always respond very late. Its reporting system is also not that effective.

I am very impressed with Freshsales. Although it lacks certain features, abilities that I have had in other sales CRM's, Freshsales is constantly improving the product and they are very receptive to user input of features enhancements.

Pros

Freshsales is a complete out of the box CRM solution. All of the features that one needs to manage the sales funnel are contained within it. This includes a very intuitive deal flow, that allows for easy movement of opportunities across the sales cycle. Freshsales also has integrated dialing that allows for logging all calls and optional call recording. In addition, one can integrate their email into Freshsales, so that all incoming and out going emails are logged.

Cons

Freshsales lacks robust reporting and the ability to sort and filter tasks to focus on those contacts that are most relevant.

Freshsales is a totally incredible sensational software that its functionalities are based on crm, as it should be noted that most of its operational guides contain several packages, with more sophisticated tools in each of these, which all have an understandable price, in the budget of all organizations that wish to use this programming with income ends, without forgetting regarding the issue that their technical customer support service is fabulous, clearing up all doubts and faults that may ever arise within the system.

Cons

In significant disadvantages in relation to the lack of functionalities of the software or an update for your servers, they will be quite useful for most of the users who complain about these particularities, one of these is that it takes extremely long time to list several Data pages one after the other, being a very broad slowdown problem that requires modernization, in these aspects that are frequently very useful.

Over all I think FreshSales has been an amazing addition to our company. We have easy access to customer accounts. We can creat tickets from FreshSales right into FreshDesk.

Pros

I love how I can integrate my other FreshWorks software as well as quickbooks. I can seamlessly maneuver the website and find the information I need for the most part.

Cons

I wish there was a place to put the customers address right on the front part of their account. We have customers all over the globe and it can sometimes be bothersome to find the customers time zone or simply address to ship their orders.

I have never experienced customer service THIS bad before. Total and complete incompetence. We have been using Freshsales for about a year, and it's been nothing but glitchy and problematic. NOTHING is ever resolved, support tickets are left open for weeks, and their customer support team blames their issues on the customer instead of fixing the problem. Their customer support chat will fail mid-conversation, and then the whole chat history is lost. This has wasted HOURS of my valuable time and cost our business money. Freshworks' support team does not have any clue what they are talking about. In the rare chance you \*can\* get in touch with them, their "solutions" do not work, and when I show them how/why it doesn't work, they don't believe me. It is infuriating to have spent so much money and time on software that our business now relies on only for it to be a huge mistake.

Pros

Right now, their lack of customer service is canceling out any benefits Freshsales might have had.

Cons

Glitchy program and TERRIBLE customer service.

1\. It has super customizable integrations for the leads from various sources 2. Got a great discount from the Sales team 3. Flexible payment options 4. Super understandable flow and can define our own flows based on our need

Cons

1\. IVR and SMS gateway is not integrated with Indian based providers 2. Have a few customizations limitation which has to be worked upon 3. Ability to pay in INR as they have only accepted USD payments for bank transfer
