January 24, 2023 4.0 It has been a welcome upgrade to our tithe collections and a great first on-line giving program. Pros Start was pretty simple and greatly aided by professional and helpful assistance. The automated nature of Tithe.ly makes for real-time tracking and reporting with ease and variety of software services to enhance all of our documentation and communication requirements a snap. Cons When a credit card expires or is changed, it would be helpful to see Tithe.ly automatically send a notification to the donator, in addition to the note within the software. It attracts younger users and still enables the not-so-young to watch sermons from a distance as well as give to the church. Communication mechanisms work well (love push notifications) and member data tracking is very good also. Cons There is so much that Tithe.ly can do that I have yet to understand and use. However they stand out on being more trustworthy, dependable and friendly. So far, every time I have called about a question, I have had the same person each time. He already knows who I am and about our organization, which makes things a lot easier to manage. It also saves me time, where with the previous company I would spend hours on hold to get a different person and have to explain who we are every time. This not only saved us monthly fees it stream line our ability to get more done with less tools. Pros Once your users is trained and begins to use the payment method the automatic payments are a breeze to record and to obtain the funds. Everything becomes automatic. Love it. Cons Signing up and getting started is always the hardest part. People want only a couple of clicks, this program requires a bit more involvement. Great timing. I have attended numerous webinars and want to continue using more of their services as I feel that it is a great bang for your buck. They offer so much more than just online giving. I'd choose elsewhere. Pros Software is easy to use if they can get you signed up correctly, however, therein lies the problem. We've had ours up for 6 months and one account isn't depositing. They are very friendly to faith-based organizations, since they are also faith-based. I would recommend them to anyone. Pros We have been with Tithely since shortly after they began. They are super friendly and very easy to work with. Getting setup to accept donations through Tithely was easy. Cons We have had no qualms at all with Tithely software. I also would like their people management side to be clearer to use as far as people and checking them in to services. They can donate any day of the week. Pros I can check church giving online at anytime. I can see when to expect the donations to be deposited into the church's bank account. I can contact donors by phone, mail or email addresses. Cons Reports are hard to figure out. The only ones I can find, since we only use the donation section, are the tax reporting forms. But it didn't seem like it has the ability to scale on its own, even with the full package they offer. That said, if you're in a financial pinch, Tithe.ly can be a good short term solution. Pros I've used Tithe.ly at two churches and enjoyed how it was really easy to give (once you found your church). Cons The giving app was confusing for many in the congregation initially. It'd be so much better to have a dedicated spot for giving only to our church. That's why we moved to a custom app with Subsplash. Review Source EP Eric P.
