Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. It’s a solid platform that makes fundraising easier both on the admin side and for donors. It’s helped streamline a lot of our processes and made things feel more polished and professional.

Pros

The user experience is really strong—everything from checkout to forms feels clean and easy. It’s intuitive for donors, which matters a lot. I also like the dashboard and reporting tools—they make it easy to track performance without digging around. Overall, it feels modern and built for how people actually give today.

Cons

The auction system feels a bit clunky compared to the rest of the platform. It’s not as intuitive and takes more effort to manage than it should. That said, it sounds like improvements are already in the works.

I have never felt like I wasn't in competent hands with Funraise. Their customer service is quick and they help us create ways to organize our data that feel custom and specific to our needs - and our org has very specific needs!

Pros

The customer support! There have been so many changes at our org and Funraise has helped us pivot to meet the needs of a merger + major data organizing overhaul - and never compromised what we had built with our donors and advocates! They go above and beyond to help us build what we need via Funraise Intelligence dashboards, etc.

Cons

I wish there were better de-duping features so that we could better troubleshoot duplicate accounts and update data simply for all of our donors/advocates.

We have been able to leverage Funraise to boost our Digital Fundraising program over the last 9 years. Today, we use the Funraise platform to solicit one-time gifts, monthly subscriptions, run emergency campaigns, host P2P fundraising, support Corporate Partnerships, and host small cultivation and fundraising events. It integrates with our Salesforce environment in a very robust way so we get a 360 degree view of our donors. The support staff know their product well and are determined to help us create or find solutions for all our needs.

Pros

Funraise's customer service is excellent - they are very responsive to issues and inquiries we have about the platform. They work closely with us to resolve problems and to tailor the platform to meet our needs. They have even worked with us on some custom solutions that were later rolled out as platform features!

Cons

It took them a very long time to release a donor portal even though we had been asking for one for years. The one they now have is a bit limited, but I am hoping it will be come more robust with time so our donors and self-service their recurring donations more easily and get copies of receipts.

Overall, my experience with Funraise has been very positive. The platform is simple to navigate, and the support from the team has been excellent. It’s been a helpful tool for managing fundraising efforts and getting campaigns up and running quickly.

Pros

What I like most about Funraise is how easy the platform is to use. The interface is very intuitive, which made getting started much less overwhelming. I also really appreciate having an account manager. He’s always friendly, professional, and available when I have questions or need help setting something up. Having that personal support has made a big difference, especially while learning the system.

Cons

My least favorite aspect is the cost. In the beginning, the level of support and guidance feels very worth it while you’re learning the platform. However, once you start to get the hang of everything, it makes you wonder if you’ll still need that same level of support long-term and whether the cost will continue to make sense.

Overall I'm very happy with my experience with Funraise. It is very easy to use and the ability to find answers to questions is also simple to navigate.

Pros

Very user friendly. I find Funraise is easy to navigate and if I do have any questions getting an answer is also fast and efficient. Their customer service is wonderful!

Cons

There aren't too many things that I don't like. One critique is offering more options in reporting for our current subscription. Right now we're only able to create one report at a time.

Pros

We love that the free platform version gives us all the necessary tools we need to manage our donor database. The integration to our website is seamless, and the reports we can pull are very helpful.

Its been amazing to work with \[sensitive content hidden\] , hes been helpful and always ready to answer and jump on a call to help setting things up when theres a problem or help needed. The responses are very quick and makes the support needed so much better and more helpful. My overall experience has been amazing and cant complain about anything.

Pros

The simplicity in data management and set up of forms and campaigns to be able to run smoothly and easy enough for anyone to use.

Cons

There are a few functions that we need that are not available and sometimes have to do work arounds. But its not too bad as there is an amazing team to help build things out.

Funraise allows us to move fast while staying organized. We use it as our central fundraising hub, covering CRM and donor giving, Giving Tuesday, event-based fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns, and year-end appeals. The reporting and analytics help us understand donor behavior, optimize campaigns, and steward relationships more intentionally. It’s helped us grow revenue while keeping our small team efficient. Funraise has helped the Bahati Foundation build a stronger, more scalable fundraising engine while staying true to our mission. It’s a reliable partner in turning community support into real-world impact, and a great fit for teams that value both donor experience and data-driven decision-making.

Pros

Funraise has become a critical part of how the Bahati Foundation raises funds to scale our youth cycling programs. Hands down, Funraise has played a key role in helping us grow, engage, and communicate with our supporters while staying organized financially. The available integrations and platform-agnostic giving forms allow us to place a donate button everywhere it makes sense, which has significantly improved accessibility and conversion. We especially value how intuitive the donor experience is; supporters can give quickly, easily share campaigns, and feel connected to our mission without friction.

Cons

Funraise is a very tech-forward platform, which is a strength, but organizations that rely heavily on in-person fundraising may need to supplement it with additional workflows. Expanding or enhancing mobile, on-the-spot donation capture within the app would be especially helpful for live events and community activations. This would make it even easier to meet donors where they are and streamline in-person giving.

Some language used does not match up with non-profit terms. Learning curve if you don't know HTML code can be a challenge.
