I have rang several times over the last two days concerning the installation of software for other users in my account for a new project that we are doing. It’s not appropriate that we use Reckon on Line or QuickBooks online because the project is being managed from in the middle of the jungle in Bougainville Where Internet connection is not certain. Pros I like the promptness with which the telephone was answered and the attention given to me by the person from record \[sensitive content hidden\] in this case but others before him. Cons I don’t understand all the activation codes and verification codes in half the time. I don’t know what I’m doing because it’s written in IT personal language and I’m sn old age pensioner. Any questions and I can chat with highly trained staff who can help me, on the spot, with any queries. Your business is lacking without Reckon. Pros The security on Reckon is top notch. Not only do you need your 6 code verification code, sent to your chosen number, but also the passcode for your machine, stopping anyone from accessing your businesses account. Creating Financial reports, BAS, etc, are easy and smooth. It is definitely excellent value for money. Being able to see your business financial health, live, is a huge help in purchasing goods for the services we provide. If you've had any experience with MYOB or Xero, you'll find this seamless. On start up you do have tutorials that help you learn how to use it and also online help with the staff at Reckon. Cons It would be great if we could input a Reference Code on Invoices on the App. Currently there is no away to do this, so I have to bring out the laptop in order to enter reference codes on the invoices I send out. Cons The payslips aren't showing acurred leaves per pay run. All payslips of a single pay run as a single pdf so that we can download and send to superiors. Pros The ease with which I could make the transition from the computer based Accounts software to the cloud based Reckon One software. The really helpful support from Reckon was very good! Cons The fact that I couldn’t change the financial year of the company myself. The Book was set up by Reckon assuming the standard financial year. That book had to be cancelled and another created with my actual financial year and migration started all over again. The process took twice as long as it should have!
