This is your best EMR choice ever!" 5.0 Overall Rating 5.0 5.0 Ease of Use 5.0 5.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 0.0 0.0 Likelihood to Recommend 10/10 May 7, 2020 From the very first time we inquired about Atlas and started a trial period, through the implementation/transfer of files from the previous EMR to Atlas phase, to the prompt reply for all questions directed to "support," to the making of individual help videos when needed, to the ease of the transition (it didn't take much training time for anyone since the program is so intuitive, as mentioned earlier), to the free legal advice about how to navigate out of our previous relationship with the previous EMR, to receiving personal emails from the owner/developer of the company (himself a DPC physician), we have appreciated every aspect of our interactions with the whole Atlas team! Pros What's not to like? AtlasMD is intuitive for all users (including our 74-year-old tech-challenged PA) in our Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. It has an integrated video-conference system. It has integrated membership "subscriptions" options, payment systems, company/corporate set-up, phone and texting services (through the software, but directed to your own cell phone) that get noted in the patient chart, integrated billing and invoicing, great interfacing with LabCorp, additional discounted pricing offered by Andamed (if you have a dispensary and are using Atlas), an integrated intake form as part of the sign-up process that includes a place for a photo of the patient, excellent e-prescribing options...I'm not sure I have covered all of the things we love, but our whole office is thrilled with this EMR! Cons I think the only thing we have had to work around that was in our previous EMR was how to "room" a patient with Atlas. The previous EMR had a good tracking process for the patients as they moved through the visit. However, the advantages of Atlas have FAR outweighed this small inconvenience. Reasons for choosing Atlas.md When initially choosing an EMR in Jan - March of 2019, we did extensive research and depended heavily on Captera reviews for our final choice. When it became clear that we needed to switch due to the high level of frustration and dissatisfaction, combined with the fact that the previous EMR was not well suited to a DPC practice, we searched JUST for EMRs suited for a DPC. Atlas doesn't spend a lot on advertising, and it had NO reviews on Captera (I have no idea why not!), but we were fortunate to stumble upon it when doing a Google search for EMRs for Direct Primary Care. We have found a gem! When the COVID-19 pandemic hit us all, everyone was scrambling to get virtual visits set up. But not us! Just a week or so before this started becoming widespread, we implemented Atlas and tested the video-conferencing option. We were able to offer this to our members right away, as well as to our urgent care patients (we have blended a DPC with an UC practice). We knew there would be advantages of Atlas over our previous product as well as any others we had researched in early 2019 as none of the others were really developed to meet the unique needs of a DPC (specifically membership/subscription automatic monthly billing, integrated texting and calling, video-visits, and other options for direct contact with a physician/provider). We couldn't be happier with our choice, and are thrilled to be able to give a shout-out to the Atlas team. If you are a DPC, this is the program for you!
