My overall experience has been an easy integration in learning the system. How everything works and flows.

Pros

What I like most about Keela is that is easy to administer. The more you use it the CRM works seamlessly. All parts talk to each other and this help keep data in one place and manage important areas for my nonprofit.

Cons

Keela works intuitively, the only area I would say I like the least is segmenting donors. I wish there was a faster way (such as batching donors) rather than inputting them one by one when segmenting.

Extremely disappointing experience with Keela. After spending thousands of dollars, including additional import fees, and investing over two months into the migration process, we are still uncovering hundreds of missing donation records. As a non-profit organization, accurate donor data is absolutely critical, and the fact that major donor history was missing is incredibly concerning. What made the situation even worse was the lack of communication and accountability when these issues were raised. After escalating concerns involving missing data and discussing stepping away from the platform entirely, responses from our points of contact stopped altogether. We understand migrations can have challenges, but the combination of data integrity issues, long delays, poor communication, and ongoing costs made this an extremely frustrating experience. Unfortunately, this process left us with very little confidence in the platform moving forward.

Pros

The Keela platform itself is incredibly well designed, modern, and easy to use. The interface is clean, intuitive, and much more user friendly than many other donor management systems we explored. Features are laid out in a way that makes day-to-day tasks simple to navigate, and the overall system appears to have a lot of potential for nonprofits looking for a streamlined CRM solution.

Cons

Unfortunately, the staff support and migration experience became the weakest part of the process. Communication was inconsistent, timelines were missed, and serious concerns regarding missing donor data were not handled with the urgency or accountability we expected after investing significant time and money into the transition.

Pros

As a small nonprofit on a very limited budget, I spent quite a bit of time researching different CRM platforms we could utilize. I loved Keela for it's affordability, ease of set up, and clarity of user experience. I was able to import over a decade's worth of donor and gift details in via excel and it kept everything organized. Pulling reports was easy and the donation forms were professional. It was also easy to set up specialized donation forms for individual donors who wanted to do fundraising campaigns for us from their friends. Thank you, Keela!

Cons

I wish that the automations were available for the lowest subscription tear. Otherwise, very easy to use!

My experience using Keela for our donor management at our Non-Profit has been great and I think I’ve finally found one I plan to stick with.

Pros

Keela has been great for managing all of our donor data and having an easy way to keep track of who’s donated and who will likely donate in the near future. It is made running email campaigns, simple, and easy to choose specific people to contact under specific circumstances. Their customer support has always been available and great. The reports that are available have been useful for making decisions and planning future donor campaigns.

Cons

One of the biggest challenges we’ve encountered while using Keela is figuring out how to integrate with Quickbooks in an easy way but honestly this may more on our end than on theirs.

The interactions tracking especially for emails allows our team to be on the same page and the reporting features and forms.

Cons

The lack of customization with permissions. Having this would be a huge help. The platform can sometimes be a bit slow.

Keela is an easy-to-use CRM and has been great overall. We got it for the grant tracker, and they have expanded its features, which is a plus!

Pros

The best CRM I've used in my 12+ years of nonprofit work. It's easy to create reports, send mass communications, develop forms, and track grants.

Cons

I can't add images to the mobile donation form; however, it's not that big of a deal. I submitted a request, and hopefully I will see that feature soon.

Good donor management tool with great analytics about donors. Their smart tools are helpful for those with small fundraising teams that need guidance on how much to ask donors for.

Overall this has helped us take our donor care to the next level helping us see who might be falling through the cracks and where we need to focus next. It also allows us to have multiple people working with the same contact and quickly seeing any previous communication.

Pros

Keela has been a great tool for managing communication with our donors. Some of my favorite features are how it tracks communication with each donor and the easy way to take donations over the phone. It is also has smart tools to help you quickly see who needs follow up communication.

Cons

The customer support has been slow, but they do follow through and have given good solutions to issues that come up.

It is my go to I love Keela and have been a client for several years, I recommend it to all non profits and community partners. Essential CRM

Pros

Offers the best industry specific and holistic overall solution for non profits to manage operations comprehensively.

Cons

Lack of direct help and support without paid support. Setup and Onboarding could really help us utilize the complete system.

The overall experience has been great. We are able to do things we need to do. I love the forms section and communications to keep everything in one database. The donor management keeps everything where I need it. It does have trouble merging contacts and I often have to go in and manual do that.

Pros

The interface is easy to use and understand. It is easy and faster to run reports and import information I need. It is also great for email campaigns. We were weary about switching all our communication to Keela, but it has done well for us.

Cons

I do not like how I can not go back to the page I was previously on. On my donor management it always sends me to the beginning. I often have to open another tab to continue working.
