March 6, 2018 4.0 Pros It is easy to set up. It takes a little getting used to how it operates. But once you are familiar with the system, it is very easy to use. They are continually updating new features for you to use. I especially like the ability to custom make our landing pages and our automated email system. Cons Trying to configure the coordination between your website, the landing page, the free download and then enter the client into an automated sequence - it can be challenging to learn. If you do not use it on a regular basis, it is like starting all over again. Once set up, it will operate indefinitely. But if my needs change, and I must go back in to change something - it is almost like I have to start all over again. This can be very frustrating. Cons The landing page and forms are not as easy to use. Pros I love this app and after your free trail it is only $19! And you can build funnels (although I do prefer Click Funnels or Systeme.io for this feature) because they have more templates and its easier to do this with. Use this for email automation. It's the best of it's kind. The automations such as auto name input and hyperlinks were no brainers. I highly recommend this product for email automation/marketing. Pros With a great UI, GetResponse is easy to set up and has an intuitive workflow, and this tool works pretty well. If you're looking for a lead capture tool and you're just getting started in the email marketing game, GetResponse is worth the shot. The free-forever plan is very lucrative, and it offers to host one website, which also comes with a 500 free contacts limit. I highly appreciate their effort and recommend using it. CEO Internet Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "They take away the monthly payment and disconnect your account forever" November 5, 2019 1.0 I did not like that after the trial period I paid for the services for a month, and the next day I was informed that my account was deleted forever and the money will not be returned Pros I didn’t like anything. I do not recommend even spending your time studying Cons During the free period, I made several mailings. Everything was ok. Then I bought the most basic package with 1000 subscribers. Within a week I did the same mailing (without links and not advertising) to my subscribers. I was happy with this, too, although using their analytics was almost impossible. This service also had very poor email delivery. Then I decided to speed up the process and paid extra for the next package for 2500 subscribers. I uploaded the remaining subscribers (they were approved by the service) and did exactly the same newsletter as before. The next day I was no longer able to get into my account, as it was "blocked forever." My attempts to contact technical support were unsuccessful. About a week, 2 departments passed each other to me, without giving answers to my direct questions. Nobody returned the payment for the month to me either. In case the company representatives comment on my review: I have screenshots of the technical support correspondence (or rather its mockery) and screenshots of the newsletter itself, confirming all of the above. If you want to be cheated, want to lose your money and time, GetResponse is the perfect product to help you achieve this. It offers unlimited landing pages but as there is only one sales funnel in the basic plan it is very limiting. I found GetResponse UI very complicated to use when compared to mailchimp and aweber. Cons I had login issues in my GetResponse account which remained unresolved for over a month, even though I was having regular support chats with their team. Cons Not as advanced as some of the ninja tools out there but in most cases you will find that it is more than sufficient for what you are trying to do. They have a free trial so use that. " September 9, 2019 4.0 I'm able to send emails to potential customers that have opted in to turn them into clients. Pros I connect GetResponse to Clickfunnels so that anytime I have someone opt-in for our value video, the are automatically put into our GetResponse automation. I love this automation because 24/7 it warms up our leads and helps convert them onto a call. I also like how GetResponse has great design capabilities so that whenever we send out an email, we look like a professional company. Cons I dislike that sometimes emails are filtered out into the promotions section of gmail - which means a lower deliverability rate. Pros I like how the done-for-you templates look, specially the optin pages. Also the software is really newbie friendly, so I won't worry about teaching tech stuff to my VA. Cons The price. Since there are some other cheaper softwares and even free wordpress plugins to replace this. It is too expensive. Charge me for the features I use, not all of the ones I don't need. Adjust your pricing model. Pros The software has a ton of features, many of which I have no use for. Other people may find them useful. Cons I don't like the cost per list size. Half of my profits go toward paying for the software based on my list size. I am in a niche market and can't continually earn $800 per month just starting out. September 28, 2018 1.0 Pros All around the interface isn't too bad (could be better). Cons I sent out an email to my list that was designed to promote a hand-made product; it wasn't spam, and didn't contain anything negative in it, and all of my leads were opt-ins, not imported... But after sending out a basic email, suddenly I couldn't access my account. Getresponse said something about violating terms of service (and TRUST me, promoting hand-made goods isn't a crime in the United States so far as I know) - and haven't heard back since. They didn't tell me WHAT was violated - which is also aggravating. I could totally understand shutting down someone's account if a crime was committed - but there was no crime here. So now my list is gone, without warning, without notice, and they won't even reply. So who is the criminal here? I am not the only one though; GetResponse is known for shutting down people's accounts, and I have met some others who really didn't do anything wrong but got their accounts shut down. May 10, 2018 4.0 I am able to maintain many different email lists and customise newsletters to each. Pros I like that it will manage the "unsubscribe" feature for me so I don't have to manually unsubscribe the people that wish that. I like that it integrates well with ClickFunnels and Wordpress I like that it has an option to chat with support and the chat option is obvious so I don't have to go hunt it down when I am having an issue. Cons I made a mistake and sent an email to an unintended campaign, leading to a mass unsubscribe. I was then, not able to send another email to those people apologising for the mistake and it took customer service over a week to get it figured out with me while in the meantime my whole account was on "lockdown" - it was also very difficult for me to convince them it was an honest mistake. J'ai un second compte chez eux depuis 2 ans pour un autre site qui n'est pas e-commerce et c'est plus simple (le seul point positif qu'il y a) Cons \- 30 jours en freeplan sauf qu'on peut pas tester toutes les fonctionnalités - 30 jours gratuits si on prend un plan e-commerce ils facturent directement, donc je cherche ou sont les 30 jours gratuits. - La solution avec WooCommerce ne remonte pas les informations des contacts 1 semaine pour leur faire comprendre qu'ils faut qu'ils regardent ce qui ne va pas. Par la suite je demande un remboursement car ce n'est pas clair et ça ne fonctionne pas avec mon site. A la place on me propose 10% pour que je reste (je ne vois pas trop le rapport). Finally, when I sent my first email newsletter, they canceled my account and wouldn't let me back in. They said there were issues, but never explained what happened. Rather than communicate with me or teach me what happened, they simply locked me out of my account. I will never recommend them to anyone. Pros I originally chose GetResponse because it seemed to have more functionality than other companies. Cons Customer service and communication were terrible. We are using less time with emails and focus on our products and services. Pros We are taking advantage of the embedded Facebook Ads feature where we can manage our campaigns within GetResponse and merge our statistics and metrics. Their prices are very friendly and you definitely can afford the suggested plans. The email automation workflow is priceless, you can visually design each step of your campaign. They also have ready templates for funnels, email marketing and an app called Social Ads Creator that helps you generate material for social media ads. Cons The editor is breaking some changes on the content when switching from Mobile to Desktop or vice versa. If I change some content so that it can fit on the proper screen it changes the content on Desktop too, breaking some of the content totally.
