Inventory Manager Alternative Medicine Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Good All in One Unit for Monitoring Vehicles" November 26, 2024 4.0 Linxup was good for immediate live view and GPS while monitoring my delivery vans but just did not have the data storage to be within my industries compliance. It is a good all in one unit that is easy to install and setup. They do increase their prices frequently but do not add many features. Their customer service was always easy to work with. Pros Linxup allowed me to track the location of my drivers in real time and with live video of their view of the road and the driver. The unit was small and easy to connect to the car without having to remove anything. I also liked the ability to be alerted when the vans entered Geofences that were set. Cons They do not have as much data storage as some of the other companies and it is not possible to add additional camera's with the unit I was using. They were also constantly increasing their prices without many new features. April 2, 2025 4.0 Linxup is a wonderful tool; our go-to in mapping where our Techs are, the distance from where we need them to get to next, history, etc. I haven't used all the features since I'm fairly new to the tool, but what I have used, it certainly fits the need. We are able to locate our Techs quickly, pinpointing exactly where they are which aids in providing spot-on response times to our customers. Cons I'm wondering if the tool has the capability to give the name of the location along with the address. For example, if I select a driver, the tool instantly shows me where they are and provides the address. Can it also share the name of the business? I understand this might not always be possible or even accurate depending on where the vehicle is located, but where possible it would save time in determining if such address where we expect them to be, matches up with the name of the business. We don't always know the address but to have a quick glance and say ok they are at 'General Mills' would be great. I realize this might requires another layer of programming but since the app already shows the names of some locations nearby, maybe it's possible... or maybe a link to the address which my lead to the name since it's tied to Google Maps. Geofencing helps to quickly glance and get an idea of where every member of your team is throughout the day to help plan further dispatching. Pros Easy to setup. Easy to use. It’s as simple as that. We also love the maintenance tracking for our fleet. We have alerts set for oil changes and regular maintenance that can be easily missed otherwise during the hustle of each day. Linxup is not special in any way. Cons Every time this GPS company makes an upgrade to their GPS App the make it worse than before. Very difficult on the eyes and way too fidgety to see where the vehicle is. Customer service is practically non-existent as well. At present my trackers are all OFFLINE for over 10 days and they are certainly not moving their feet to get them working for me and act like they could care less that the product I am paying for doesn't work. They act like it is my problem and not theirs. I am going to look for another company as soon as possible since I am tired of dealing with the problems this one has. The customer service is absolutely terrible. No one follows through in a timely matter. Trucking is a 24/7/365 operation with a requirement to use an ELD. Your company does not provide the required support for this type of business. Waiting 2 days or more for a return phone call from tech support regarding the ELD's is unacceptable. With all of these issues, we will most likely be leaving your company for a better solution. Pros It's easy to use. ELD is easy to install. Trailer tracker not so much. Cons The ELD has glitches that severely impact our operations. I advised a few months ago about the issue and nothing was ever done about it.
