It was close, Klaviyo was a bit more expensive but I liked the support option of Omnisend. In the end, I regretted it and after a year we are switching Pros I liked chat was quickly available. It has a lot of features, except reporting they make you pay for proper reporting Cons Very buggy -> Doesn't use best practices. For example a long time, when we made a copy of live to staging site (which we have to do regularly for WooCommerce) they would override our URL in our email to our staging site and start sending that out. They claimed to fix it, made me jump through all these hoops to reconnect, and it still broke. So they don't even know how their product works. You need the 24/7 chat support because there are bugs after bugs. And they demand you keep everything in one long thread so it is very hard to find issues if you need to refer back to them. While I am not personally the greatest at running email campaigns, setting up customized email automation has been life changing. Pros I love the statistics Omnisend provides regarding my email campaigns and the ease of creating and sending out new email campaigns. I also love that there are detailed instructions available to help automate custom emails for customers. Cons I wish there were more options for design creation, and I wish it were easier to resend order confirmation emails for my store. There have been multiple times I’ve been asked to resend the confirmation and I can’t seem to resend the original email. It has the ability to set up automated workflows, send emails or texts, work with other apps to integrate data, and has drag and drop builder to make designing easy. A lot of tools have most of these products though, but Omnisend has an interface that I've found to be easiest for non-marketers to learn and use correctly, quickly. It's been an invaluable asset to scale up sales for my small and medium size business clients. Cons My con may not apply to many looking at this review, as they are likely individual businesses. But for people like me that manage multiple clients' marketing needs, the tool can sometimes be clunky adding on additional accounts to one email. For instance, I work in 4 omnisend accounts, 3 are tied to one of my email addresses. When setting up those three, I had support help due to a few Shopify stores trying to auto connect to another client's omnisend account, because my email was connected to all of the shopify stores and omnisend accounts. The auto connect between Shopify & omnisend was tripped up a little. Support was awesome & helped me fix the issue quickly. Review Source AT Amir T.
