Love it! As an Administrative Assistant to the Founder/CEO of a small business, I deeply appreciate how many problems solves. Rather than using multiple apps and leaving files in a cloud and managing them, Connecteam does it all.

Pros

has been so helpful for our small business. It handles everything from HR to training, and even streamlines inner-staff communications. It's genuinely been a life-saving tool for our company. The customer support and even the AI support have been excellent! If you have a question, it isn't long before you find an answer. They even give personalized video tutorials if necessary, and sincerely try to help. We've been able to abolish many bottlenecks and staff hurdles by using this platform. Once you get past the slight, initial learning curve, the platform is easy to use too. It's been wonderful!

Cons

They appear to be working on developing a bit more fluidity across the different sections, which will be super helpful.

is absolutely great at what it does. It can handle many different industries and team types. It is just lacking some of the sales tools that could make it a complete solution that some competitors already have.

Pros

The dispatching tools are some of the best in the industry. The web based software is stable and has next to no bugs or network issues. Very easy to setup new users. Tracking hours and expenses are a piece of cake. 's customer support is always available and very helpful.

Cons

Still quite expensive for the low operating costs of such software. Competitors have many more features for the same cost or less.

Overall, I love . They make time tracking simple and easy to use! I am so glad that I found out about them!

Pros

It's amazing software, and they provide it free up to the first ten users. I recommend it to all my clients! Their support is really great as well, and they are always coming out with new features. It is really easy to use and intuitive.

Cons

I wish you could and subjobs after creating a job. Also, when filtering jobs in the timesheet, I wish I could just view the data entries for that job without having to export them to Excel.

I like most of the application because it’s very easy to use, especially for the team on mobile, and the time tracking is reliable and simple. It also brings everything into one place, which makes managing schedules, communication, and daily tasks much more efficient. Customer Support is always ready to help as well.

Cons

There are a few downsides, like occasional small bugs or notification issues, and the pricing can increase as your team grows. The expense tracking is also a bit limited compared to the rest of the features, and setup can take some time at first.

Once it is setup for your specific operation and needs, the app just works. It saves time, improves accuracy, and has the most features of any comparable app.

Pros

can work with any company that tracks employees with hourly pay. With all of it’s different modules, the app can be setup exactly how it is needed to acomódate every business.

Cons

Some of the calculations can be challenging to setup, even for someone with advanced skills. Overtime pay combined with holiday pay took us a while to get configured but most other things are easy to configure.

It was great at first- and the parts that work- is super. I don't like the way that it turned out to be so different then what was presented- as I was very clear on what we needed.

Pros

Training videos, response time when initially inquiring about product, and the people I have talked to have been very friendly

Cons

Once we purchased this we found out that the portions we needed- syncing so that we could use the time clock feature, schedule feature and time off feature and was told it would all sync with BambooHR. Trying to get responses now that we are using the product has not been easy

I have been enjoying , especially since our business was coming from minimal organization before using multiple apps for our resources. I enjoy how easy it is to use, all of the different resources it can provide and I love being able to schedule out updates/ quizzes in advance to get things done ahead of time.

Pros

Having all of our team documents and communications in one place! It has been a smooth transition over from our previous process, and it seems like every day we learn something new we can do or add to make things easier and more accessible for our staff. I love the feature that reminds or prompts an update/task upon opening the app.

Cons

Learning the UI was a little bit of a catch, but after some use it has become very simple and easy. Our staff has mentioned it can feel overwhelming at times with the amount of updates or quizzes they have to do, but that is no fault to .

I find to be a very valuable resource overall because of all of the features available and the streamlined operation of it. I can do most of the things I want in all one place, keep track of tasks, stay up to date with training, fill out all of my company forms, and so on. It's nice to be able to have it all together, with an easily navigated site.

Pros

I love the Quick Tasks feature in . It's so easy to use and I really appreciate the reminders of my tasks, when they're starting and when they're overdue. The pop ups help me to remember to look at all of my tasks so I can follow up on them and stay on track with them.

Cons

I am frustrated that I can't use some features on the web view. With my company, we use the survey's regularly but that feature isn't available on web, so I have to pull out my phone at my work computer. I find it distracting, it takes up a few more seconds/minutes that could be used elsewhere, and it can take my attention away from my patients that I am working with.

Overall I’m very pleased with how the system operates and have had a wonderful setup and transition team. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing similar software for their business. I do, however, think the pricing and tiered structure make it more cumbersome than it needs to be. While there is a certain amount of “ala carte” selection and modification to the system to suit your needs, it can feel daunting and exclusionary for those needing various options.

Pros

I like how all facets are one one system. Time tracking, payroll, reports, learning, a communications are the key components to our business. The various facets have streamlined our business and made scheduling much easier and rescued the amount of time needed for scheduling drastically.

Cons

There are a few design elements and quirks to the system that I feel could be improved. Slider and navigation bars could be bigger, they are hard to get a hold of. Some buttons (like a save button) are covered from the AI assistant. Some features are not available in the tiered pricing, and I believe that if you have a good product, your shouldn’t need to parcel out sections of it as an “upgraded” feature when it’s a simple tool that helps improve business and performance. By making price tiers, you’re artificially creating demand that should already be included in a finished product. It’s a way to upsell a customer that can over complicate the product for their needs, or keep important items out of reach for the customer that needs them.

We have loved using , the training videos, the support and how they listen to the needs of the customers and are constantly updating the features to make it better and easier.

Pros

We love that there is a small business plan. The system is easy to learn and set up for business owners adapting it to the needs of their business. Our staff find the mobile app easy to use with the information they need in the field to do their job. The new AI feature is great and the templates are very useful. We like how we can share the live schedule with our clients to see their bookings and when the shift tasks have been done. We have rarely had tech issues. The integrations with other software platforms is amazing, with new ones being added all the time. The platform has excellent visual accessibility. The layout is clean and is simple to navigate, the colour palette is easy on the eye.

Cons

When we switched from the small business plan to the paid version, it was a quite a shock that you have to buy each plan separately (Operations, HR & communications) especially because the small business plan has everything included so it felt like a sneaky trap and with the price charged in US $ it's quite expensive in the AUD conversion. We also pay our staff per job, so we are hoping there is an update soon for this option. It would be great to be able to export the courses and blank forms for a back up option or to send to a client.

So far it has been great. Customer service has been great. The tutorials have made learning each of the module very simple and easy.

Pros

It has helped with our scheduling and crew communication. It keep everything up to date in real time and I am able to access everything right from my phone, which is important because the managers in my department are always on the go. has so much more to offer than I first thought and I can't wait to implement some more of its tools.

Cons

It is not quite geared towards construction companies and having crews of people, but more to shift work. I would love to see better features for companies with crews and construction like project.

I chose for the price and for the UI - it has a much cleaner look than competitors' platforms. Also, the app is straightforward for my lower SES (not technologically savvy) employees.

Cons

Pricing structure is very confusing. I also have a few feature requests, including ability to rectify schedule with timesheets for ease of invoicing.

Integration with Gusto, user friendly reports customized to how you want to see the data, positive employee feedback about the usability of the app, accurate and timely time clock function and ability to filter data relevant to my needs as an owner/operator.

Cons

Wish mileage had a way to export into Gusto, we have to perform this function manually which takes some time. There was the ability to export the mileage data into a customized spreadsheet which saved some time but full integration would be ideal.

Overall, our experience with has been very positive. The platform is easy to use, well laid out, and simple for both managers and team members to navigate. We have only recently launched it within our organisation, but we are already seeing the benefits. It is helping to create more efficiency in the way our team communicates, accesses information, and completes tasks. Having everything in one place makes it much easier for staff to stay informed and organised. The mobile accessibility is also a big advantage for our team. So far, we are very happy with the product and look forward to continuing to use it.

Pros

What I liked most about is how easy it is to use, both from an administrator and employee perspective. The platform is very intuitive, which makes it simple to set up and manage without needing a lot of technical knowledge. One of the standout features is the ability to easily build education and training directly into the system. This makes it convenient to share important information, policies, and learning modules with staff in one central place. Employees can access training, updates, and resources from their phones, which is particularly helpful for teams that are not always desk-based. I also appreciate how everything is organised in one platform, including communication, updates, and learning materials. This helps ensure staff stay informed and engaged, while also making it easier for managers to track completion and participation in training. Overall, Connecteam provides a practical and user-friendly way to support staff communication, education, and ongoing professional development.

Cons

One of the things we liked least about was the training experience during implementation. The training sessions could have been improved, as the trainer moved through the material quite quickly and tended to jump between different sections of the platform rather than following a clear, step-by-step structure. This made it difficult for some members of our team to follow along and fully understand how to use the system effectively. As a result, there was some confusion about certain features and how to set them up correctly. To ensure everyone felt confident using the platform, we ended up revisiting the system ourselves and running additional internal training sessions for our team to clarify the key functions and processes.

### "Efficient and User Friendly"

I've used for about five years at two different jobs. 95% of the time Connecteam is user friendly, efficient does what I need it to, enabiling me to schedule more efficiently.

Pros

's customer support is always helpful. Their willingness to have phone/video appointments to help understand new processes has been helpful. The job scheduling is easier than other systems I've used and allows me to schedule succinctly and correctly despite having 5+ job sites. The ability to publish days or weeks at a time as well as the ability to copy the previous week's schedule simplifies and quickens the scheduling process for me. The chat feature has also increased communication between employees at all sites.

Cons

It is sometimes frustrating when what seems like a basic feature requires an upgraded plan. For example, time off requests are automatically approved unless the plan is upgraded. It is sometimes frustrating and over complicated to use some features. For example, forms I want to send to my employees cannot just be uploaded into . Once the form is created I can't send it to whomever I want without making a user group - some features just aren't user friendly.

### "Great Experience"

has become a core operational tool for our company as we’ve scaled a 24/7, field-based workforce across multiple sites. We use it daily for timekeeping, training, task tracking, communication, and documentation, and it’s helped us bring structure and consistency to processes that used to live across too many systems. What’s really stood out has been the support. Between the AI chat feature that actually helps you learn the platform, the live webinars, the Facebook community, and the Connecteam setup team, we’ve never felt like we were figuring things out on our own. That level of guidance has made a big difference in how confidently and effectively we’ve been able to build and roll out the system. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

has been an excellent tool for scheduling and managing my employees. The value for money is outstanding for everything it offers, especially compared to other platforms. The system is extremely easy to use, both for management and employees, which makes onboarding smooth and stress free. Time tracking and time and expense tracking are reliable and accurate, helping me stay organized and confident with payroll. User access controls are well designed, allowing the right level of access for each role without confusion. Customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever questions come up. Bugs and issues have been minimal, and when something does arise, it’s resolved quickly. Overall, Connecteam has streamlined scheduling, tracking, and communication in a way that genuinely improves daily operations.

At this point, there’s honestly nothing I dislike about . Everything I’ve used so far has worked smoothly and as expected. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and continues to meet our needs without issues. If anything, I’m still discovering features and looking forward to using even more of what it offers.

The onboarding section in the Connect Teams app is a great resource for getting started. The instructions were clear, and the layout was clean and simple to follow. I liked how everything was in one place — from company policies to team contact info — which made the transition into the role much smoother. It also helped eliminate some of the first-day confusion that usually comes with starting a new job. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The app occasionally lagged when switching between modules, and it wasn’t always clear where to find saved documents. A few sections felt repetitive, especially around company values, and might benefit from being consolidated. Still, overall, it’s an effective and thoughtful tool for onboarding.
