Pros

Connecteam has proven to be a good choice being reasonable and providing the reports that we need to easily track our employees.

Cons

At this time I don't have any technical issues in using Connecteam but I feel the daily attendance record email is not necessary because we also receive the weekly with the total.

I like most of the application because it’s very easy to use, especially for the team on mobile, and the time tracking is reliable and simple. It also brings everything into one place, which makes managing schedules, communication, and daily tasks much more efficient. Customer Support is always ready to help as well.

Cons

There are a few downsides, like occasional small bugs or notification issues, and the pricing can increase as your team grows. The expense tracking is also a bit limited compared to the rest of the features, and setup can take some time at first.

It is a well stocked scheduling suite. Due to so many features and options, it does detract from the overall experience. My team looks to easily see and format their schedules, switch shifts, and request time off. Unfortunately this is missing the mark for most of them.

Pros

I like the feed on the homepage and the option to see everyone's schedule vs just your own. Making announcements to the entire team is easy to do given the central location.

Cons

I do not enjoy the difficulty it takes to edit and approve time sheets. The interface is extremely busy and difficult to navigate on the go. Overall my team did enjoy the ease and simplicity of our previous scheduling app.

Love it! As an Administrative Assistant to the Founder/CEO of a small business, I deeply appreciate how many problems Connecteam solves. Rather than using multiple apps and leaving files in a cloud and managing them, Connecteam does it all.

Pros

Connecteam has been so helpful for our small business. It handles everything from HR to training, and even streamlines inner-staff communications. It's genuinely been a life-saving tool for our company. The customer support and even the AI support have been excellent! If you have a question, it isn't long before you find an answer. They even give personalized video tutorials if necessary, and sincerely try to help. We've been able to abolish many bottlenecks and staff hurdles by using this platform. Once you get past the slight, initial learning curve, the platform is easy to use too. It's been wonderful!

Cons

They appear to be working on developing a bit more fluidity across the different sections, which will be super helpful.

Overall, connecteam has been a great step for our organization. I wish we could find a way to make entering payroll time more efficient, but it's still an improvement to what we had before. Our onboarding was alright; I never felt like we were super prepared until we just went live and dealt with the issues as they came. In a prior job, I did major ERP implementations as a Financial team lead, I have done the integration and testing steps and the training. This software is what it is for what you pay. There are some standard things that would make sense for Connecteam to implement, but development comes with a price.

Pros

The value for the money we paid; ease of use, teaching my employees was easy. I can easily find time data when billing my customer.

Cons

I still cannot load an iif file into my quickbooks payroll system. I key it in, which is still faster than before, but really thought my life would be easier with an upload to quickbooks. Also, paid time off tracking is not available for our organization. Our employees can request PTO, but the system is not able to accrue time per pay period. I feel like that is a pretty common way to accrue time off so not having that option is a little surprising.

Connecteam replaced 3 apps we were using before. Onboarding was fast and my guys actually use it without complaining. For managing field teams, dispatching jobs, and tracking hours, it's been the most reliable tool we've tried. Support is also quick to respond. 8.5/10.

Pros

The mobile app is dead simple for my techs to use. Time clock with GPS, job scheduling, and in-app chat all in one place. Killed our paper timesheets and 5 different WhatsApp groups. The ability to build custom checklists for installs and attach photos directly to a job is huge for documentation.

Cons

The admin dashboard on desktop can feel a bit clunky when you're setting up complex schedules or pulling custom reports.

Other tools either charged per user right away or had a steep learning curve. We needed time tracking, scheduling, and chat in one app without training the whole crew for a week. Connecteam did that day one.

I find Connecteam to be a very valuable resource overall because of all of the features available and the streamlined operation of it. I can do most of the things I want in all one place, keep track of tasks, stay up to date with training, fill out all of my company forms, and so on. It's nice to be able to have it all together, with an easily navigated site.

Pros

I love the Quick Tasks feature in Connecteam. It's so easy to use and I really appreciate the reminders of my tasks, when they're starting and when they're overdue. The pop ups help me to remember to look at all of my tasks so I can follow up on them and stay on track with them.

Cons

I am frustrated that I can't use some features on the web view. With my company, we use the survey's regularly but that feature isn't available on web, so I have to pull out my phone at my work computer. I find it distracting, it takes up a few more seconds/minutes that could be used elsewhere, and it can take my attention away from my patients that I am working with.

I'm very happy to have switched to Connecteam. I believe it is great value for the money we spent and look forward to filling it up with all the things its capable of!

Pros

Communication with my team, a place to hold necessary documentation, and time tracking were my biggest needs when I started searching for our next employee app. Connecteam checked all those boxes and more! Their customer support while onboarding and even now several months later has been top-notch. My team - a mix of shop guys and office professionals - have all adapted well due to the ease of use.

Cons

There are a few changes to features that I would appreciate - just some odds and ends that make a lot of sense for how we use our employee app. There are occassional bugs with the time clock that cause me to have to make corrections to timesheets, but they are short-lived issues and corrections is so much easier than our previous solution.

Overall, I love Connecteam. They make time tracking simple and easy to use! I am so glad that I found out about them!

Pros

It's amazing software, and they provide it free up to the first ten users. I recommend it to all my clients! Their support is really great as well, and they are always coming out with new features. It is really easy to use and intuitive.

Cons

I wish you could and subjobs after creating a job. Also, when filtering jobs in the timesheet, I wish I could just view the data entries for that job without having to export them to Excel.

I oversee three locations and I am able to stay connected to all of the team members both individually and as groups.

The only thing I wish they would update is the job scheduling, it would be nice to select the day you want to go to rather than having to use arrows to go ahead week by week.

Smooth testing - to quote - to committing and onboard, we've thoroughly enjoyed switching over! This has been the silent problem killer for time tracking, calendar sync and keeping all our diverse teams together.

Pros

Very easy set-up, without a ton of calls or configurations to get started (we went through 4! hour long calls with a competitor and still didn't even get an onboarding date.) After committing, we had 2 excellent, to the point, onboarding calls, and in 20min we even tested out our user flow through mobile. Our team loves the chat and event pages for easy sync on what's happening around the office. Billing has been flexible according to how many seats x month, which is great. Connect Team customer support is very responsive and easy to get a hold of, thank you!

Cons

Sometimes if you onboard a user as a collaborator, and move them to admin there can be some glitches in finding the right permissions to give them full access - but we were able to easily smooth this out with their customer service team. We had the same kind of issue with a test acct email being included into the full account, but these were all minor details that were promptly resolved.

Overall, we’ve had a really great experience with Connect Team! And they can be super helpful, especially since they are continually rolling out new improvements

Pros

Honestly, we love the improvements. Connect continues to make. They have a new clocking option called the NFC. And it’s already done wonders for helping people clock in and out.

Cons

It can sometimes be hassle to add an additional time clock when we build a new location. It also just cost us more money. We are a smaller company, but we have about 10 to 15 employees at each location. If there were a way to have a clock in for the whole company and it just separated it by locations that would be phenomenal. And obviously so other people can’t see other locations time parks.

I chose Connecteam for the price and for the UI - it has a much cleaner look than competitors' platforms. Also, the app is straightforward for my lower SES (not technologically savvy) employees.

Cons

Pricing structure is very confusing. I also have a few feature requests, including ability to rectify schedule with timesheets for ease of invoicing.

Very positively surprised with the entire platform, mobile is great, desktop has all the features you want, price is exceptional for the value it brings.

Pros

Integration with Gusto, user friendly reports customized to how you want to see the data, positive employee feedback about the usability of the app, accurate and timely time clock function and ability to filter data relevant to my needs as an owner/operator.

Cons

Wish mileage had a way to export into Gusto, we have to perform this function manually which takes some time. There was the ability to export the mileage data into a customized spreadsheet which saved some time but full integration would be ideal.

Even though there are challenges at times, the overall experience has been positive because it has allowed me to contribute to something that truly helps others and makes a difference in their lives.

Pros

What I like most about Connect Team is the sense of collaboration and support among the staff. Everyone works together toward the same goal, which is helping people improve their lives. I appreciate how the team communicates and shares ideas because it creates a positive environment where learning is encouraged. It also feels meaningful to be part of a group that focuses on helping others grow and recover. Another thing I value is the opportunity to keep developing my skills while working with experienced professionals. Being surrounded by people who care about the work makes the experience more motivating and fulfilling every day.

Cons

One thing I do not always like about Connect Team is that sometimes communication can feel a little disorganized. There are moments when expectations are not completely clear, which can make tasks more stressful than they need to be. Another challenge is that the workload can occasionally feel heavy, especially when many responsibilities come at the same time. This can make it difficult to balance everything and still feel fully present with clients. I also think there could be more structure in certain processes to make the work flow smoother. Small improvements in organization and communication would make the experience even better.

I've used Connecteam for about five years at two different jobs. 95% of the time Connecteam is user friendly, efficient does what I need it to, enabiling me to schedule more efficiently.

Pros

Connecteam's customer support is always helpful. Their willingness to have phone/video appointments to help understand new processes has been helpful. The job scheduling is easier than other systems I've used and allows me to schedule succinctly and correctly despite having 5+ job sites. The ability to publish days or weeks at a time as well as the ability to copy the previous week's schedule simplifies and quickens the scheduling process for me. The chat feature has also increased communication between employees at all sites.

Cons

It is sometimes frustrating when what seems like a basic feature requires an upgraded plan. For example, time off requests are automatically approved unless the plan is upgraded. It is sometimes frustrating and over complicated to use some features. For example, forms I want to send to my employees cannot just be uploaded into Connecteam. Once the form is created I can't send it to whomever I want without making a user group - some features just aren't user friendly.

Overall, Connecteam has had excellent customer service. I wish there was a little more flexibility with cost while we explore the platform. The free trial period wasn't nearly long enough for a slow adaptor like us — we are a 77 year old business that is oftentimes stuck in the past. But we are slowly moving toward helpful tech (like Connecteam) to streamline our processes. It just takes us a lot longer than other companies to be "all in."

Pros

The onboarding process has been top tier. Seriously. Our Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], is the best. She was diligent in her training and we appreciate all of the tailored support she provided to us!

Cons

We are very early in our adaptation to Connecteam, so it's hard to say what we like "least" about the platform. Right now everything seems helpful - if anything, it's just a lot of power and we are ramping up slower than we'd like (but that's on us, not Connecteam).

### "Connecteam - A Platform Worth Investing In"

I have used Connecteam for over a year, and it became one of my favorite platforms that I have worked on so far. When I struggled with something (as a new user) the support team assisted me timely and well. Apart from their Support Team, they also have a YouTube channel that helped me and the team greatly in getting familiar with how everything flows on the platform. I highly recommend this platform for any business and team that make use of a calendar/bookings that needs to be updated daily.

Pros

What I like most about Connecteam is how the sections are all set out and then how they connect with each other as a whole. As I worked with a cleaning company and team, we needed to create jobs, add new team members and book cleanings on a regular basis, which all flowed easy. It was great that the team members could use the app to Check-in with their location (for their safety), complete Forms (plus add photos of work completed) and track their hours with the Timeclock (for keeping track of their weekly payments). If they struggled with something on the platform, we could assist them and sort it out while they continued with the work.

Cons

I struggled at the beginning, when I was new to the platform and all its features, which is normal for a newbie. I honestly do not have anything that I do not like about Connecteam. It is a platform that flow well for me.

The onboarding section in the Connect Teams app is a great resource for getting started. The instructions were clear, and the layout was clean and simple to follow. I liked how everything was in one place — from company policies to team contact info — which made the transition into the role much smoother. It also helped eliminate some of the first-day confusion that usually comes with starting a new job. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The app occasionally lagged when switching between modules, and it wasn’t always clear where to find saved documents. A few sections felt repetitive, especially around company values, and might benefit from being consolidated. Still, overall, it’s an effective and thoughtful tool for onboarding.

Pros

The onboarding section on the Connect Teams app was incredibly helpful and easy to navigate. It provided a clear step-by-step overview of what new employees can expect, which made the entire process feel less overwhelming. I really appreciated how organized the content was — everything from policy information to team introductions was laid out in a logical way. The interactive features also made it more engaging than just reading through a packet. Overall, it gave a great first impression of the company and helped me feel more confident and prepared. It’s a fantastic tool for streamlining onboarding!

Cons

That said, there are a few areas for improvement. Some sections felt a bit text-heavy and could benefit from more visuals or videos to break things up. I also noticed a couple of links that didn’t open properly, which interrupted the flow. Despite those minor issues, it’s a strong tool that helps streamline the onboarding process and gives a great first impression.

Connecteam has been an excellent tool for scheduling and managing my employees. The value for money is outstanding for everything it offers, especially compared to other platforms. The system is extremely easy to use, both for management and employees, which makes onboarding smooth and stress free. Time tracking and time and expense tracking are reliable and accurate, helping me stay organized and confident with payroll. User access controls are well designed, allowing the right level of access for each role without confusion. Customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever questions come up. Bugs and issues have been minimal, and when something does arise, it’s resolved quickly. Overall, Connecteam has streamlined scheduling, tracking, and communication in a way that genuinely improves daily operations.

Cons

At this point, there’s honestly nothing I dislike about Connecteam. Everything I’ve used so far has worked smoothly and as expected. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and continues to meet our needs without issues. If anything, I’m still discovering features and looking forward to using even more of what it offers.

Our overall experience with Connecteam has been excellent. It’s made scheduling, time tracking, and team communication significantly easier and more organized. Our crew picked it up quickly thanks to the intuitive interface, and it’s helped us run more efficiently with less admin hassle. It’s reliable, affordable, and continues to evolve with useful updates. We’re even exploring ways to expand our use of the platform as we grow.

Pros

We love how intuitive and easy-to-use Connecteam is—for both management and crew members. The mobile app is super clean and makes clocking in, viewing schedules, and communicating across the team incredibly smooth. It’s affordable, flexible, and powerful enough to grow with us. We’ve found it to be a reliable tool for organizing our daily operations, and we’re even considering upgrading our subscription to unlock more of its capabilities.

Cons

The only downside we’ve experienced is that some of the more advanced features—like custom reports or expanded automation—require a higher-tier subscription. It’s understandable, given the value, but it would be great if a few of those tools were more accessible at lower levels. That said, the core features still provide a ton of value, and the platform continues to improve.
