### "Good Software for Time Tracking"

March 26, 2026

4.0

Connecteam intuitive and valuable, with strong scheduling and communication tools, though setup takes time and costs rise as teams grow.

Pros

ConnectTeam excels at scheduling, time tracking, and team messaging. It's ideal for deskless teams needing simple, mobile-first workforce management tools.

Cons

The mobile app can be buggy, it does have a steeper learning curve, can be costly and has limited payroll features.

### "Consistent and up-to-date"

March 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, we’ve had a really great experience with Connect Team! And they can be super helpful, especially since they are continually rolling out new improvements

Pros

Honestly, we love the improvements. Connect continues to make. They have a new clocking option called the NFC. And it’s already done wonders for helping people clock in and out.

Cons

It can sometimes be hassle to add an additional time clock when we build a new location. It also just cost us more money. We are a smaller company, but we have about 10 to 15 employees at each location. If there were a way to have a clock in for the whole company and it just separated it by locations that would be phenomenal. And obviously so other people can’t see other locations time parks.

### "Slightly satisfied"

February 26, 2026

3.0

not great - the support team are good but the program really doesn't give them much to work with. I fould i needed to repeat myself a lot and the initial set up was left to us to do despite paying for the set up in the sign up

Pros

Job costing is much easier now that we can book time to multiple jobs during the day. the interface is not toobad

Cons

it can not handle RDO and TIME in lieu accrual and really doesn't help for payroll aspects in fact it is quite primitive when it comes to Xero payroll integration and out of the 10 times i've tranported info to xero only twice it actully worked

### "Operations Manager"

February 9, 2026

4.0

Overall Connecteam has been great in making day to day operations of the business easier and more streamlined. There is a lot at our fingertips and integrates what was multiple systems into one.

Pros

I like the multiple features to be able to help manage employees and business. I find it easy to use with the scheduling and love the options to send posts about employee accomplishments. I like the easy to search tool to help employees find SOPs or the handbook quickly. The check list option has been a life saving tool for our business.

Cons

The forms submission process. It may be user error. I would also appreciate an easier to use feature to see who is clocked in and at what time and where they are in their shift.

### "Mixed Feelings"

March 13, 2026

4.0

It was great at first- and the parts that work- is super. I don't like the way that it turned out to be so different then what was presented- as I was very clear on what we needed.

Pros

Training videos, response time when initially inquiring about product, and the people I have talked to have been very friendly

Cons

Once we purchased this we found out that the portions we needed- syncing so that we could use the time clock feature, schedule feature and time off feature and was told it would all sync with BambooHR. Trying to get responses now that we are using the product has not been easy

Alternatives considered

[TimeTap](https://www.capterra.com/p/139709/TimeTap/)

Reason for choosing Connecteam

Because in my calls with them they said that the products we needed would integrate completely with BambooHR

Switched from

### "Connecteam Review, First Time User"

March 16, 2026

5.0

I have been enjoying Connecteam, especially since our business was coming from minimal organization before using multiple apps for our resources. I enjoy how easy it is to use, all of the different resources it can provide and I love being able to schedule out updates/ quizzes in advance to get things done ahead of time.

Pros

Having all of our team documents and communications in one place! It has been a smooth transition over from our previous process, and it seems like every day we learn something new we can do or add to make things easier and more accessible for our staff. I love the feature that reminds or prompts an update/task upon opening the app.

Cons

Learning the UI was a little bit of a catch, but after some use it has become very simple and easy. Our staff has mentioned it can feel overwhelming at times with the amount of updates or quizzes they have to do, but that is no fault to Connecteam.

We used GroupMe for group chats, and When I Work for scheduling and documents. We still use scheduling on When I Work, but for messages, updates and documents to have on hand we made the switch to have it all in one place. It has been an amazing switch over to have everything right on hand, not having to remember which app had which document.

### "All of the Resources all in One Place"

April 9, 2026

4.0

I find Connecteam to be a very valuable resource overall because of all of the features available and the streamlined operation of it. I can do most of the things I want in all one place, keep track of tasks, stay up to date with training, fill out all of my company forms, and so on. It's nice to be able to have it all together, with an easily navigated site.

Pros

I love the Quick Tasks feature in Connecteam. It's so easy to use and I really appreciate the reminders of my tasks, when they're starting and when they're overdue. The pop ups help me to remember to look at all of my tasks so I can follow up on them and stay on track with them.

Cons

I am frustrated that I can't use some features on the web view. With my company, we use the survey's regularly but that feature isn't available on web, so I have to pull out my phone at my work computer. I find it distracting, it takes up a few more seconds/minutes that could be used elsewhere, and it can take my attention away from my patients that I am working with.

Switched from

[OnTheClock](https://www.capterra.com/p/130009/OnTheClock-com/)

We wanted more features and more accurate tracking. We wanted a better functioning app that we could use for more than just clocking in and out.

### "Making the company seem a little more reachable"

March 9, 2026

4.0

It was overall very useful and made it easier to have forms listed and connect with team members. Being able to see when people took breaks was nice as well.

Pros

That it made everything seem upbeat and fun. I like that things were customizable and you could use it on the computer as well as on your mobile device.

Cons

It could be really difficult to find things. Some things were glitchy and could only be accessed on your mobile device. The org chart was only available to managers.

### "Streamlined booking system -Easily let subcontractors claim shifts"

April 1, 2026

4.0

It's been a life-saver in terms of running my business and has allowed me to triple my sales in a year.

Pros

It has streamlined my business - allowing me to easily schedule staff for shifts without double booking them. I post a shift and my staff can claim it. No more texting staff individually. Customer support has been good.

Cons

There is a 30 person limit before additoinal fees apply. The app doesn't have all the same features as the webbrowser version. It is a bit pricey.

Alternatives considered

### "Highly pleasant experience. "

February 27, 2026

4.0

It has been a pleasant transferring over from old systems - it’s been highly easy for me to educate and train older staff members on, it’s easy for me in management to see everyone on the same rota, so overall has been a pleasant experiance.

Pros

You can access on phone, quickly see rotas and do time off requests, easier for older people to get into the digital aid.

Cons

Quite complicated to set up, only allows two people to publish rota’s which in a company is not quite ideal. It’s quite annoying getting a lot of emails to do with shift changes - shouldn’t need to confirm a shift.

### "Great team solution and peace of mind!"

December 30, 2025

5.0

Smooth testing - to quote - to committing and onboard, we've thoroughly enjoyed switching over! This has been the silent problem killer for time tracking, calendar sync and keeping all our diverse teams together.

Pros

Very easy set-up, without a ton of calls or configurations to get started (we went through 4! hour long calls with a competitor and still didn't even get an onboarding date.) After committing, we had 2 excellent, to the point, onboarding calls, and in 20min we even tested out our user flow through mobile. Our team loves the chat and event pages for easy sync on what's happening around the office. Billing has been flexible according to how many seats x month, which is great. Connect Team customer support is very responsive and easy to get a hold of, thank you!

Cons

Sometimes if you onboard a user as a collaborator, and move them to admin there can be some glitches in finding the right permissions to give them full access - but we were able to easily smooth this out with their customer service team. We had the same kind of issue with a test acct email being included into the full account, but these were all minor details that were promptly resolved.

### "Connecteam has helped solve our scheduling issues. "

December 9, 2025

4.0

So far it has been great. Customer service has been great. The tutorials have made learning each of the module very simple and easy.

Pros

It has helped with our scheduling and crew communication. It keep everything up to date in real time and I am able to access everything right from my phone, which is important because the managers in my department are always on the go. Connecteam has so much more to offer than I first thought and I can't wait to implement some more of its tools.

Cons

It is not quite geared towards construction companies and having crews of people, but more to shift work. I would love to see better features for companies with crews and construction like project.

Reason for choosing Connecteam

Though I would like to see connecteam expand some of their features towards construction companies as well. They could really draw in more business this way. ### "Reliable, Powerful, and Built for Real-World Teams"

August 7, 2025

5.0

Connecteam has been a game-changer for our private security operations. We rely heavily on scheduling, time tracking, and direct communication across our entire team. Having everything in one place has increased accountability and made it easier to track hours, document incidents, and maintain compliance. It’s helped us professionalize our workflow and improve officer satisfaction.

Pros

Connecteam has completely transformed how we manage scheduling and employee communications. The auto-scheduling feature saves hours of manual work each week, and the ability for officers to update their availability and pick up shifts has significantly reduced no-shows. The platform is intuitive, mobile-friendly, and easy for both management and field staff to use. Customer support is also top-notch—they respond quickly and are always helpful.

Cons

While Connecteam covers the basics extremely well, it’s missing some crucial features for workforce management, most notably, the inability to track call-offs. This makes it difficult to maintain accurate records of last-minute absences and affects our ability to evaluate time management and attendance trends for HR purposes. There are also occasional bugs when navigating between modules, and the app can become sluggish with high chat or notification volume. Another downside is the cost of premium features. While they offer valuable tools, the pricing adds up quickly, and some features feel a bit limited considering the expense. We'd like to see more functionality and customization options included at the premium tiers to match the investment.

### "Extremely pleased on Connecteam"

February 13, 2026

5.0

Very positively surprised with the entire platform, mobile is great, desktop has all the features you want, price is exceptional for the value it brings.

Pros

Integration with Gusto, user friendly reports customized to how you want to see the data, positive employee feedback about the usability of the app, accurate and timely time clock function and ability to filter data relevant to my needs as an owner/operator.

Cons

Wish mileage had a way to export into Gusto, we have to perform this function manually which takes some time. There was the ability to export the mileage data into a customized spreadsheet which saved some time but full integration would be ideal.

### "Streamlined Scheduling and Labor Management"

December 11, 2025

5.0

Connecteam has been very easy to learn, with an intuitive design that makes onboarding simple for both management and staff. The platform is highly customizable, allowing us to tailor schedules, permissions, and workflows to fit the needs of each department. Overall, it’s been a flexible and user-friendly solution that supports smoother daily operations.

Pros

Connecteam offers an easy-to-read schedule layout and accurate time tracking for all staff, making it especially useful for monitoring labor across our different departments. It provides instant updates whenever shifts change and is mobile-friendly, giving employees quick access to their schedules and requests.

Cons

The main downside we’ve encountered is that Connecteam does not integrate with our specific version of ADP, something we didn’t realize before implementation. While this creates an extra step in our process, our onboarding manager has been excellent in helping us find a smooth and reliable workaround.

### "Great for multiple locations"

February 26, 2026

4.0

We implemented the product across two locations with approximately 60 employees. This included setting up time tracking, scheduling, permissions, document management, and onboarding workflows for multiple roles and management levels. Rolling it out at this scale required significant administrative setup and coordination to ensure consistency between both locations. While the system is functional, managing multiple locations with a larger team highlighted some navigation and workflow inefficiencies that become more noticeable at scale. The platform works, but when you’re operating across locations with dozens of employees, ease of navigation, reporting clarity, and streamlined admin controls become critical. Improvements in those areas would make it far more efficient for multi-location operations.

Pros

The platform automates many core HR services, including onboarding paperwork, document distribution and acknowledgment tracking, time-off requests, time tracking, and employee record management. This reduces manual administrative work, minimizes paper processes, and creates a centralized digital system for compliance and documentation. Automating these HR functions helps ensure consistency across locations, improves accountability, and reduces the risk of missed forms or incomplete records. It also provides better visibility for managers, allowing them to monitor approvals, track policy acknowledgments, and maintain organized employee files without relying on spreadsheets or manual follow-ups. For growing teams and multi-location operations, this level of automation is essential to maintaining structure, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Cons

The platform is very difficult to navigate between sections. Key features feel siloed, and it’s not intuitive where certain tools or settings live. I often have to click through multiple menus to find basic functions, which slows down workflow and creates unnecessary friction for managers trying to move quickly. There’s a lack of clear hierarchy and logical grouping between modules (time tracking, HR, documents, tasks, etc.), and the back-and-forth between admin view and employee view is not seamless. It would significantly improve usability if navigation were more streamlined, with fewer layers, clearer labeling, and customizable shortcuts for frequently used sections. Overall, the functionality is strong, but the user experience makes simple tasks take longer than they should.

### "ConnectTeam is amazing app that covers a bunch of issues"

April 6, 2026

5.0

This has been by far the best timekeeping, scheduling, and planning tool we’ve used. We previously used Monday.com, but it felt too clunky for our business. This platform makes everything simple and efficient—our team can easily view their schedules, check their days off, and even submit time-off requests all in one place. It’s made a huge difference in how we manage our operations.

Pros

What I like most is having time tracking and scheduling all in one place. It makes everything much more efficient for our team. Our staff can easily view their shifts, request time off, and clock in and out without any confusion. The built-in chat is also a huge plus—they can communicate in real time and even upload photos directly in the chat, which helps with coordination and accountability.

Cons

One downside we’ve experienced is the lack of an edit history or undo feature. If an event or shift is accidentally deleted or overwritten, there’s no way to recover the previous version. We’ve spent significant time building out full events, and when making a quick change, a simple mistake can’t be reversed—which can be frustrating and time-consuming. Adding a version history or undo functionality would make this platform significantly more reliable for day-to-day operations.

### "2 Thumbs Up for Connecteam"

February 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, Connecteam has had excellent customer service. I wish there was a little more flexibility with cost while we explore the platform. The free trial period wasn't nearly long enough for a slow adaptor like us — we are a 77 year old business that is oftentimes stuck in the past. But we are slowly moving toward helpful tech (like Connecteam) to streamline our processes. It just takes us a lot longer than other companies to be "all in."

Pros

The onboarding process has been top tier. Seriously. Our Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], is the best. She was diligent in her training and we appreciate all of the tailored support she provided to us!

Cons

We are very early in our adaptation to Connecteam, so it's hard to say what we like "least" about the platform. Right now everything seems helpful - if anything, it's just a lot of power and we are ramping up slower than we'd like (but that's on us, not Connecteam).

### "Great Application to Use"

February 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Connecteam has been positive. It’s an easy-to-use, reliable tool for time tracking and team management, especially for small businesses. The mobile-first design makes it convenient for employees, and it helps streamline daily operations, though some advanced features are limited on the free plan.

Pros

Very easy to use – The app is intuitive for both managers and employees, even for non-tech-savvy staff. Great time tracking – Clock-in/clock-out is simple, accurate, and works well on mobile, which is perfect for small teams. Free plan is actually useful – Unlike many tools, the free version offers enough features to run a small business without feeling crippled. All-in-one platform – Time tracking, scheduling, communication, and task management in one place reduces the need for multiple apps. Mobile-first design – Employees can easily use it on their phones without extra hardware. Improves accountability – Clear records and visibility help reduce time disputes and keep everyone aligned. Quick setup – You can get a team up and running fast without a steep learning curve. Good value for small businesses – Saves time on admin work and helps streamline daily operations.

Cons

Limited features on the free plan – Some advanced tools require upgrading to a paid plan. Customization can be restrictive – Certain workflows or reports can’t be tailored as much as some businesses might want.

### "Saitsa Volunteer Schedules Made Easy"

July 17, 2025

5.0

The platform allows us to easily assign shifts, track volunteer hours, and communicate updates in real time—all in one centralized app. Volunteers appreciate the ability to see their schedules in advance, confirm their availability, and receive instant notifications if there are changes. It has drastically reduced confusion, missed shifts, and the back-and-forth emails we used to rely on. From an admin perspective, we’re able to create recurring shifts for long-term roles and tailor schedules for specific events or programs. The time tracking and reporting tools have also helped us ensure accurate documentation for grant reporting and internal assessments. Overall, Connecteam has not only streamlined our scheduling process but also increased volunteer engagement and accountability. We highly recommend it to any team looking to improve their operations and enhance the volunteer experience.

Pros

Using Connecteam has significantly improved how we manage and schedule our volunteers. As an organization that relies heavily on clear communication and efficient scheduling, Connecteam has been a game-changer.

Cons

While the app is feature-rich, some volunteers—especially those less tech-savvy—find the interface overwhelming at first. It may take time and guidance for everyone to get fully comfortable using it.

I have had a very positive experience with Connecteam. It is very cost-effective and is a great value to me and my entire team.

Pros

It is keeping my entire team in the know about what's going on in our office. They can access their schedules from home, use the chat for questions, and clock in and out. As the payroll person in the office, I LOVE the timesheet feature. It makes my life so easy!

Cons

There's A LOT of information on each page - I sometimes feel overwhelmed by what the app looks like when I open it.

### "Best Communication platform for business"

July 18, 2025

5.0

Pros

We've been using Connecteam for a few years now, and it's been a total game changer for our team! From scheduling and time tracking to internal communication and task management—it’s all in one place and super intuitive. What really stands out is how easy it is for our crew (even the less tech-savvy ones) to get up and running. The mobile app is smooth and reliable, and having everything accessible on-the-go has streamlined our day-to-day operations. Customer support is also top-notch—quick, friendly, and genuinely helpful whenever we’ve had questions. Highly recommend Connecteam to any business looking to organize their operations and improve team coordination without the headaches.

Cons

Notification overload: Team members sometimes get too many push notifications, especially when involved in multiple groups or modules—more granular control over alerts would help. Customization limits: While it offers lots of features, customizing certain modules (like forms or task flows) could be more flexible for complex workflows. Price jump for premium tiers: The basic plan is solid, but some essential features (like advanced permissions or automation) are locked behind higher-priced tiers, which may be tough for smaller teams.

### ""Efficient, User-Friendly Solution for Managing Deskless Teams""

July 28, 2025

5.0

My experience with Connecteam has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s been a game-changer for managing a mobile workforce efficiently and staying organized without juggling multiple apps or platforms. The onboarding was smooth — the interface is clean and intuitive, so even team members who aren't tech-savvy were able to pick it up quickly. Setting up schedules, assigning tasks, and tracking time all became much simpler and more transparent. The ability to create custom forms and checklists helped standardize workflows and ensure accountability across the team. One of the biggest benefits has been improved communication. With chat, updates, and announcements all in one place, I no longer have to rely on texts or phone calls to keep everyone informed. Everything’s centralized and trackable, which is a huge plus. Support has been responsive whenever I had questions or needed help customizing features, and the pricing is fair for the value it provides.

Pros

The mobile app is intuitive and easy for non-technical users to adopt. That’s crucial for industries like retail, construction, or hospitality, where employees may not sit at a desk or use a computer regularly. The platform is highly customizable — from workflows to forms to checklists. Businesses can tailor it to their exact processes, which is rare in this price range.

Cons

if I had to point out a downside, it’s that some features (like integrations or certain automations) are a bit limited compared to more advanced platforms. But for small to mid-sized teams, especially those in industries like logistics, retail, or construction, Connecteam is incredibly effective.

### "connect team"

July 21, 2025

4.0

four out of 5 stars. Price is a little expensive now that its got traction which is a shame from when we started

Pros

One of the standout features we appreciated most about Connecteam was its staff rostering functionality. The ability to easily schedule shifts, track availability, and ensure the right people were assigned to the right tasks significantly streamlined our operations. The drag-and-drop roster builder was user-friendly, and the ability to notify staff in real-time about shift changes or updates helped us cut down on miscommunication. We also found it very useful that staff could clock in and out directly through the app, allowing for better oversight and time tracking, particularly during busy event periods or large-scale setups.

Cons

The biggest downside we experienced with Connecteam was the lack of flexibility in their pricing and feature bundles. While the platform offers a lot of useful tools, we found it frustrating that they wouldn't customise a package to suit our specific needs as a small-to-medium events business. We didn’t require many of the features included in the higher-tier plans, yet couldn’t access key tools unless we upgraded. Despite multiple requests, there was no willingness to tailor a solution or offer a scaled plan based on usage or relevant modules. This rigidity ultimately limited our ability to scale with them.
