Our overall experience has been fantastic. Birdeye has become a key part of our digital marketing strategy, especially for multi-location businesses. We've noticed more reviews, better Google rankings, and stronger engagement. Their support team is responsive and knowledgeable, which makes setup and troubleshooting easy.

Pros

Birdeye is an excellent tool for managing local SEO and reputation. We’ve seen major improvements in our visibility across search engines and directories. The platform makes it easy to request and respond to reviews, monitor listings, and track performance—all in one place. We use it with all our clients and have seen significant improvements. It is so simple to use. It even has AI reviews, surveys, and campaigns that help us reduce labor work and reach the leads more easily to get good reviews.

Cons

The dashboard can feel a little overwhelming at first due to the number of features, but once you're familiar with it, it’s extremely powerful. A bit more customization for reporting would be great.

Our overall experience with Birdeye has been great and we are happy we found them. Before we found Birdeye our online reviews were really struggling.

Pros

We love that Birdeye helps us with our online presence by giving our patients the option to leave a review for us if they had a great experience, but it also allows them to give us direct feedback if they didn't have a great experience. We have always had great customer support anytime we had a question regarding our account.

Cons

We don't have anything we don't like about Birdeye. Our experience over the past 5 years has been great.

I use Birdeye every day and I would say I have a very good experience with Birdeye. The customer service is fast and dependable and the software is constantly being updated with features I didn't know I needed. I would like a mini tutorial for sections that do get updated, such as the report page- its somewhat hard to nagivate through. I love Birdeye and I will continue to use it for as long as I can.

Pros

How easy it is to upload contacts. It is very accurate with when the review requests get sent out, and especially though integration, makes the process seamless. I also appreciate being able to view the contact journey of each person, holding them accountable to their review, but also noticing if there are any struggles with the process.

Cons

The reports page is a little confusing to me. I liked how it was before, being able to view it on a pie chart. Unless I am looking/viewing it wrong, I tried changing the chart layout in the filters but it didn't let me click on it.

We have been with them going on 10 years. That it self should give you reason to consider. They are a leader in the field of what they offer.

Pros

Inbox---this feature is the hub of the platform. They have grown from a review platform to a hub that offers many other ways to serve a customer.

Cons

Email needs attention-"from" address looks spammy. We are working with them for a solution, so hopefully it will no longer be our least favorite.

Convenient for sending post-appointment reviews to guests. We get better responses throughout the day via Birdeye texting vs phone calls/emails.

Pros

It's easy to text patients - being a medical practice. The Hipaa-compliant security is a must. Customer support is always speedy.

Cons

We lost some important templates and our phone number at one point, which meant we missed a lot of correspondence from patients.

Customer support is very responsive and helpful. Our review volume has increased and we have seen a higher volume of positive reviews. The Birdeye platform is super helpful to allow us to see all of our feedback in one place and respond accordingly so we can consistently monitor our online reputation.

Pros

Since implementing Birdeye, we have seen a consistent increase in our review volume and in positive review feedback. We love that we can set up survey campaigns and respond in the platform directly to all feedback and public review pages (Google, Yelp, Birdeye, etc...)

Cons

The one thing that would greatly benefit us is more support with being able to verify our listings like our Google My Business pages.

Pros

Birdeye makes it so easy to collect and track customer reviews. The automation takes a lot of work off our plate, and the dashboard gives us a clear, real-time view of our reputation. The support team is also fantastic–very responsive and helpful.

Cons

Nothing negative comes to mind—it’s been a consistently smooth and positive experience. Their team is dedicated, responsive, and always quick to provide support or answer any questions we have.

Great system for online review management, highly recommend utilizing the integrations and auto responses for a seamless online presence!

Pros

Sending out automated review requests and utilizing AI to respond to reviews, the AI feature helps specifically with Negatives, also!

Cons

The customization of multi-locations within one account could be better, one account with multiple locations are only sending the primary logo

Terrible Terrible company. Outdated and force you into a long term commitment. Even when that commitment is over, and you try to cancel, nobody is available to talk to. You schedule online meetings using THEIR calendar to speak to someone and they don't show up. Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favour, pay a consultant a couple of dollars to set up a custom integration like Birdeye for your business and you will be much much happier.

Pros

Nothing. They are a terrible and outdated company.

Cons

Everything. They should not even be in business. Customer Service? Poor. Technology? Poor. Innovation? 5 years behind.

I've been using it for 6 years as a Property Manager and it has been great. Now more than ever, reviews are so incredibly important for your business. They're almost as important as having a website or a phone number for someone to call and ask questions. They are a place where folks can give unfiltered takes of how they feel their experience at your business was. Birdeye makes managing this super easy and I didn't think I would at first - but I have really enjoyed some of their newer AI features.

Pros

I like how it is able to be integrated into our ERP platforms and how it helps us maintain our online reputation. I don't even have to think about sending someone a text or email asking them for a review. We are able to customize how/when we engage with our customers and it has been a delight to work with.

Cons

I genuinely can't think of any negatives to Birdeye. I've never ran into any issues at all with the software.

Pros

I really like the attention to detail and the strong customer service. All requests are handled within 24 hours. I have several clients using Birdeye and they have been for many years now. It's really the best review management software out there.

Cons

I would love to be able to have my clients who have multiple locations be able to manage all of their Google Maps business locations within one Birdeye account rather than having to switch the Google Business accounts every few months to a different location.

Phone app is good but surveys don't read well on the phone. AI can be a little repetitive and would like it to have more variety in responses.

Pros

The easy automation of reviews - receiving them and the auto responses. With this comes the overall brand and reputation protection.

Cons

Some of the automation features for responses could be more intuitive. For example, certain words found in the review = a certain response.

Communication with our patients. My favorite took is the internal messages. It allows for in office use.

Cons

It sometimes logs me off mid-conversation causing the message to delete and us having to restart the message.

Overall, Birdeye is very helpful for myself and my clients. Even if we are not connecting CRMs, there are some other options that have also worked for our clients. Some businesses like to send out the review requests themselves which can also be extremely advantageous for receiving reviews.

Pros

It has lots of options for customization which makes it incredible easy to tailor it to each of our clients and their needs/wants. The ability to customize color, wording, and review sites is extremely beneficial.

Cons

There are some limits to what it can do which can be a bit difficult to workaround sometimes. For example, we have a client whose CRM is not compatible with Google and it is difficult to get names from them for reviews and can be quite tedious. This makes it harder to get consistent names.

Sometimes the auto responses do not fire to all reviews that I have auto responses set up for. I wish it was always consist ant.

The QR Code! It is very easy to set up and is a creative and easy way to gather reviews. I have created so so many QR codes. I was able to customize them with logos and colors.

Stay away from Birdeye! It was a complete waste of time, energy, and money. Disappointing from start to finish.

Pros

Unfortunately, there was nothing I genuinely liked, as the results didn’t meet expectations. The promises weren't fulfilled.

Cons

They made big promises but delivered poor results. It felt like empty talk with no real value. Birdeye is simply bad!
