### "Birdeye a well-priced option for local listings management"

Overall, we are quite pleased with Birdeye and plan to use their local listings service for years to come. The pricing is very competitive and we feed very comfortable with our rep. There are lots of other features that we hope to take advantage of in the future.

Pros

The cost for local listings management is very competitive, which is what initially drew us to Birdeye. We have come to find that Birdeye provides incredible customer service. Our rep is quick to respond and always very friendly and enthusiastic. There are many other features available that we are currently not using yet, but are interested in -- most notably review management using AI.

Cons

For the local listings management service, there are multiple groupings of directory listings that can be chosen from. This was not explained to us initially, so we went with the default one that we were assigned -- assuming we were being synced to all directories. Eventually, we realized that we were not being synced to all directories and we chose a different grouping then what we originally were assigned.

### "Boost Reviews & Communication with Birdeye"

Many of my clients have been using Birdeye for several years and have grown to love the easy communication with customers via the platform. We appreciate the auto-review request setup which allows us to resolve potential issues when customers have complaints offline. We have received excellent support from our Customer Success Managers and appreciate the transparent reporting. Overall, we have seen our reviews skyrocket and rating improve. Much credit goes to correcting problems before they turn into one star reviews.

Pros

The pros of using Birdeye include automated review and survey requests. We appreciate the way the request is formatted with "Green" for a review for positive experiences sent to Google or Facebook and the "Red" for less than satisfied customers that comes in as direct feedback. I also appreciate the auto-responses to reviews. A the store level, the sales team appreciate being able to text and send quotes via the platform. We also love that all messages, emails, webchats, etc. come into one inbox.

Cons

Integration issues with our CRM has been an on-going trial, but the blame falls on our CRM rather than Birdeye. Mass texting campaigns are a separate cost and are kind of expensive.

The integrated review management and social media posting is pretty solid. We've seen a noticeable uptick in engagement since we started using it consistently for responding to customers and sharing updates.

Cons

Honestly, the mobile app could be a bit more intuitive. Sometimes navigating between different sections feels a bit clunky, and I find myself wishing it was faster to access certain features when I'm out of the office.

In my opinion, there's several other services out there far more beneficial the experience I had it was very overpriced for what I was paying for. I'm sure it'll do somebody some good but my experience as a small business. No, I would not do it again and I would not recommend it to a friend or colleage.

Pros

The social media platforms, I really wanted this to work out. I gave it a shot. I gave them more than a year just not working out. I'm not satisfied at all.

Cons

The lack of customer service it seemed like you couldn't get a word and all they did was talk never really nothing listen I had several conversations about changing some plans. It seems like they were so money driven and impossible to cancel.

Pros

It’s honestly super to the point and easy to use! We stopped using BirdEye for a second and went back within months. We truly could see the difference without the platform.

Cons

It’s hard to say. The reason we left was because of the price and a new marketing company we switched to. But it wasn’t worth leaving BirdEye.

We moved to Birdeye from a similar platform. They were able to import all information from our prior platform to theirs, which was a huge plus. Onboarding team was on top of things. Our account rep has always been friendly, helpful and available. We have dug deeper into the features over time, as there are many and that can be overwhelming when tackling them all at once. Overall, it has been a very positive experience.

Pros

I like the fact that they are continually trying to innovate. The core product does exactly what we need to help us capture more online reviews, communicate virtual and capture actionable insights. As we've been a customer longer, we see them leaning deeper into AI components that can produce more robust data and insights. The rep that handles our account is also very responsive and helpful when we do have issues. We can track how many leads go from Birdeye to converted sales and it shows the true value for the money we get with our investment every monthly.

Cons

When signing on with Birdeye, setup was well handled. However, we tried to work on some custom features that took much longer than expected. It did eventually come to fruition but much later than anticipated. Rely on the core product as your gage for your decision and you will save some of the hassle we experienced.

Overall I have had a great experience with Birdeye. My clients find a ton of success from integration and bulk importing client lists. We have been able to obtain quality reviews at a much higher rate than before. It's also nice to be able to handle everything in one place including making qr codes, responding to reviews, track reviews, etc.

Pros

The ease of asking for reviews for my clients, the AI feature for responding to reviews, the QR code generator for printing and using physical copies for my clients

Cons

Occasionally can't integrate for some clients, but this doesn't happen very often. Other than that I don't have any complaints. Support is very helpful if any issues arise.

Overall, our agency is pleased and we have increased sales and interest in our offering because of their product. We had a much simpler software before and now we have new features like listings, insights, more AI features, referrals, Webchat etc

Pros

The breadth of features and are account management and personal care as a business partner would be the top two features. We finally have a world class product that is easier to sell and compete with other software providers.

Cons

They have a huge sales team so we often have to compete with them head to head for the biggest and best leads. This competition during our partnership has been a point of contention and it makes things awkward and confusing.

My experience with Birdeye has been great over the years and I have grown my business significantly because of the partnership with Birdeye that I have had.

Pros

I have always liked the Integrations, and ease of use of the platform. My clients all have different EMR's and the Birdeye team has always gone out of their way to make sure that the integrations and automations were running smoothly.

Cons

Support can be clunky or move slowly sometimes. I know it can be very complicated with a lot of tickets coming in but the communication and time to correct issues is a little tough sometimes.

Pros

Ease of use! This product makes consolidating your communication a breeze. It takes all of your inner office communications to the next level as well!

Cons

The mass texting feature and surveys. They are clunky and a bit difficult to navigate, but Birdeye’s willingness to adapt makes this a small problem.

Overall experience with Birdeye is great. They are very helpful and informative. They help as soon as we ask for it and go above and beyond when it comes to showing us what we can do and use.

Pros

I love the customizable social feature. We have multiple clinics that all have different logos and colors. This helps make it very easy to post to all clinics at once. We also love the Reporting software. Its very easy to use and gives us all the basics that we need. Or if we would like to go in depth we can.

Cons

Survey integration has been our least favored item. It seems like we will need to change the way the front desk checks customers in, in order to use this correctly and this could get very messy. I loved how easy it is to use and customize but when it comes down to the front desk remembering to change the way they work on a day to day it will be difficult to incorporate and implement.

We have been with them going on 10 years. That it self should give you reason to consider. They are a leader in the field of what they offer.

Pros

Inbox---this feature is the hub of the platform. They have grown from a review platform to a hub that offers many other ways to serve a customer.

Cons

Email needs attention-"from" address looks spammy. We are working with them for a solution, so hopefully it will no longer be our least favorite.

I really like the attention to detail and the strong customer service. All requests are handled within 24 hours. I have several clients using Birdeye and they have been for many years now. It's really the best review management software out there.

Cons

I would love to be able to have my clients who have multiple locations be able to manage all of their Google Maps business locations within one Birdeye account rather than having to switch the Google Business accounts every few months to a different location.

Review requests are my favorite thing about Birdeye. Also being able to track the contact journey is always helpful for clients.

Sometimes the auto responses do not fire to all reviews that I have auto responses set up for. I wish it was always consist ant.

The QR Code! It is very easy to set up and is a creative and easy way to gather reviews. I have created so so many QR codes. I was able to customize them with logos and colors.

Nothing! I do not have anything to share about a bad experience with Birdeye. Whenever I have a problem, support is there to help!

Easy to use and adopt - team was quickly onboarded and could take action both in setting up the reportings and gaining visibility but also to start responding and managing

Pros

Comprehensive tool to manage publicly available reviews, evaluations, display and findability of brand and business / stores / locations; nicely combines analytics with capabilities to manage and respond to create a positive public image.

Cons

Some of the functionality is heavily focused on social media in the original sense but not fully integrated into displaying and managing reviews or descriptions on booking platforms.

### "Do NOt waste your money"

I have a small real estate company and I am perfectly capable of getting reviews on my own BUT I chose Birdeye because the promised to fix some issues I have problems with. I have a lot of buyers and seller that live out of the country and they were no able to leave reviews on google for me. Birdeye said "NO PROBLEM", we can help you with this. Well, they did NOT help and did NOT solve the problem!!! I also told them I wanted to connect to my personal FB page NOT my business pages. Of course they lied to me and they couldn't connect to my personal page! I also have two (don't ask me how that happend...) google business pages and I wanted to connect to the one that has all the reviews. Again, they said no problem......This is over8 month ago and still no solution for either one of my issues. I complained and complained and the only thing that happend is that they assigned a new person to me every thime I called. Wanted to cancel because they did nothing but lie to me BUT ofcourse they were not willing to let me out of the contract. $3000 total waste of money, time and energy!!!

Pros

Absolutley nothing, what they promised sounded good but they did not deliver at all!

They lied and lied just to get me to sign up

The list goes on. I highly recommend BirdEye to agencies and businesses.

Local listing management worked OK, but this is an extremely basic service that we could have gotten 100's of places.

Cons

Clients could not use the system due to constant bugs, outages and downtime, along with confusion about how to access services within the system in spite of training we had to perform ourselves because BirdEye offered no support. They wanted us to work with their overseas teams to diagnose and fix bugs in their own product. Rude and combative customer support for the past 6+ months. Without a doubt the worst vendor we've worked with in our 12+ years in business.

Overall, we are very happy with what Birdeye offers.

Pros

We use Birdeye to collect and manage Google and Facebook reviews of our product. We are impressed with the consumer-facing side of Birdeye. The automation of texting and emailing customers to request reviews is great. What we like the best is the way that the emails and text messages look when a customer receives them. The buttons are large and clear. The interface is easy to for the customer to use, and the process of writing a Facebook or Google review is really seamless and fast. Birdeye has helped us gather lots of reviews for Strong Cell. The best part of Birdeye is how the customer-facing interface handles negative feedback. When Birdeye presents the review request to the consumer, the button for Facebook and the button for Google are in blue, then at the bottom of the screen is a red button that requests negative feedback. When a customer clicks the red button, they are able to send our customer service team a message directly, giving us the opportunity to address their complaint, make it right, and provide a quality customer service experience. Meanwhile, arbitrating the potential negative review. This is fantastic.

Cons

The Shopify integration is not native. It is facilitated through Zapier. I prefer a native integration. Additionally, we feel limited in the widget options for displaying reviews on our site.

Reason for choosing Birdeye

The customer-facing experience and the review request automation is very robust.
