Cons Troubleshooting issues has often been a case of my finding the problem and the solution, while trying to convince the Indeavor that this is something they can and should fix. We are able to use this product, but at times it feels like we are a round piece trying to fit into a square hole. Pros The phone app is very useful for our employees. Cons Tools that are a part of our overall solution were not originally meant to be used as we intended to use them. They were altered to try to meet our needs. Because of this, we have had several issues with these specific tools as they work sometimes and not other times. The latency with pages loading has also been an issue for us. Finally, the lack of printable reporting options has been more than frustrating. Although we will be moving towards a more digital reporting format, there will always be a critical need for some printable reporting. Reasons for choosing Indeavor Solutions I do not know. It's very handy for people making applications, but the amount of window swapping and clicking for a supervisor to correct entries and schedules makes for a frustrating web-based experience. It's easy to make mistakes or do common tasks like Ctrl+C in the wrong screen which undoes work. Pros Easy for managed employees to enter times on their mobiles. Volunteering of overtime is straightforward. Cons Scheduling of employees and management of employee schedules has overlaps with background stuff that is not obvious to a general user. Selection of generation subsets is awkward and unintuitive. Scrolling through the schedule is not animated so can be hard to see where you're scrolling to. Leave applications are often entered as multiple lines instead of periods, which can be confusing with so many individual lines in leave applications.
