Sometimes minor language barrier, but nothing major that cannot be overcome. Australian/UK english is a bit different than American english.

I am very happy overall, the support team has been very helpful and they are always available when I need them

I can have all my business products in the app and easy to manage inventory also it is easy to use just scan the barcode and I have all my products and sales data at hand

Cons

I have two shops and I had to have 2 separate accounts to manage the 2 shops, if I could have the two shops together and flick between shops would be more easy for reporting

### "Promising on paper... but fails on all counts"

Just 6 months in with eposnow and a very rocky start, eposnow have increased their payment processing fees for credit cards by 68% with the only justification being that this is allowed according to the contract. Competitive fees were used to make a sale - and many promises were made that the system is tailored for use in my industry - I run a busy restaurant. The system fails in many ways for the industry being tailored to a retail point of sale "payment at purchase" model - and every time I have raised a deficiency in the system for my industry I am simply told "that is the way it works" and that I can make a request for change. After 38 days I am still having to fight to try and get someone, anyone in eposnow to discuss this with me and help me find a solution. To date, I have not been able to speak to anyone. I cannot recommend eposnow to anybody in any industry as from my experience, they have a complete disregard for their customers and fail to provide any level of account management or support.

Pros

Good sales process. Range of equipment and devices available. Marketing material sells system very well.

Cons

Sales process promises but reality does not deliver. Marketing material false - the system does not work well for certain indusries. Support and customer management is non-existant.

been with EPOSnow in one form or another since they started. from the original system to now is amazing - it's really intuitive. any queries are resolved so easily and the staff are really professional but still friendly. as with all systems like this there are little bits that we needed help with and this was sorted quickly and easily

Pros

the support is amazing. really easy to get through to and answers so quickly. payments are in our account the next day. the monthly subscription is much cheaper than other systems we use.

Cons

the till is tall and our smaller member of staff has to reach up (as cons go this is not really one)

My overall experience has been a 10 out of 10 and I will never seek another option for this processing as long as EPOS's customer service and product remain as high quality as they are now. I get many solicitations to check out other products but I inform those companies that they are wasting their time.

Pros

The customer services is top notch including regular contact with my account rep \[sensitive content hidden\] who is very personable and responsive whenever I have questions or concerns. The programs are very user friendly and my new staff can easily be trained to use them. The quality of the equipment is great and they stand up to the wear and tear of daily use. This is a great company and product.

Cons

Sometimes the time difference between my location and the location of the home office has been difficult, but this is the only problem I have encountered in 5 years of use.

I loved it, great value for money and helped in data collection which was used in making informed business decisions

It was user friendly, I was easily able to train my staff to use it. The monthly £20 payments made it extremely affordable regarding the quality of service I was getting. Sales were easy review on a Monthly basis because of the reports being generated.

Cons

Customer support was slightly slower if you weren’t located in the Uk as most of the support was done virtually and the time difference hindered real time support needs.

Brilliant very supportive, I've called several time and the service has always been exceptional and constant

Easy to set up great support, always someone available at the end of a phone to support, and a quick response which is rare

Cons

Card machine when you take a payment it does not make any noise, you can only use one card machine to take transactions from the pos system

### "Reliable - never lose a sale"

Epos Now is a great company to deal with. Good phone support and lots of online tutorials. Simple easy to use back office and lots of flexiblity in POS layout

Pros

Great back office. Flexible layout. We tried 3 other POS systems before changing to Epos Now. This is the best. We do lots of markets and festival. Other stall holders often lose internet reception. We never lose internet. As the system is not connected to our phones we do not have to leave our phones in the stall.

Cons

On the sales screen the button to finish a sale is located next to the button to review other sales such as completed, held etc. I often hit the wrong button then it takes a bit longer to get back to the current sale. The button for reprinting receipt is the only button accessed by this tab that we actually use regurally

100% positive and a great experience. The service level is awesome, the contact centre is knowledgable and its just positive, positive, positive

Pros

Everything since I first spoke to Epos Now about using their till system with us at 7378 Limited (a greengrocers, so don't be fooled by the name) has been top notch and very good. The initial contact, the follow up training and even when I've had an issue or concern someone has answered the phone and dealt with it straight away. I've never had to wait more than a couple of hours to get anything answered or sorted. Plus there's always been a follow up call or email as well to make sure that I'm happy

Cons

If I'm honest there isn't anything that I'd change or am unhappy about even giving feedback has been simple and easy.

### "Up and coming great system for small businesses"

Very happy and have told others about your company. Also glad to see that up grading the system to help business to have an easier time and be able to help more customers as well as being able to send more time with our families and less time doing reports or uploading items into the system.

Pros

Being able to get help right away and able to understand the customer services people. The tech dept able to help quickly so we do not lose sales.

Cons

Need emails to inform when new items are done to your account. Have basic passwords for customers to be able to do some basic items by them self to speed up their little problems.

I have been using EPOS NOW for 4 years now in our brick and mortar business. It is user friendly and is easy to teach others as well.

Pros

EPOS is an exceptional product. It meets our store needs and exceeds expectations in areas of support and ease of use.

Cons

Sometimes a little difficult to find information in the FAQ. They need ways to earn funds that doesn’t require referrals.

### "The Best Epos System for our Busy Restaurants"

I found Epos Now after hours of research and was pleased to discover they were the industry leader. The hardware is excellent and everything works so well. I use the app on my iPhone to check sales and staff hours, even when at home or out and about. I would definitely recommend, and already have to another new restaurant owner, who has decided to use Epos Now and is also very pleased with the product.

Pros

We use Epos Now at both our restaurants and love everything about it. The annual fee for our multiple tills is very reasonable and the software is comprehensive, allowing for detailed sales reporting, staff login, timesheet and payroll recording and much more. The security features are excellent from passwords, staff login codes and auto timeout options on the screens. It is easy to take payments and you can add other tenders, allowing us to integrate our gift vouchers on the system. The customer helpline is useful and I have always managed to get through to an operator who has been able to help.

Cons

Being able to create a multiple choice product that was a minus amount would be useful. For example we sell a burger for £17 but a naked burger is £15 so this has to be a separate product rather than being able to press a button that removed £2.

Very good product and usually very prompt with customer service. Service has provided us with all neccassary tools.

Pros

Ease & reporting - Easy enough to upload and manage products on the back office as well as the front office for our reception team. Great reports too, very easy to dissect & export.

Cons

Transaction and subscription costs can be quite costly on top of the payment card terminal. Add ons such as till and card reader prove to be fairly costly too. But good enough of a service to warrant.

Excellent. Been very helpful, easy to work with and reasonably easy to contact. When required I have had telephone assistance which has been excellent.

Pros

Efficient, good customer service. Knowledge of advisors is excellent. Quick pay over of takings. Very happy.

Cons

Ability to have the option to print a customer receipt or not. Sometimes a customer requires a printed receipt. Most of the time they do not.

Pros

Easy to use and finding your way around. The overall design is good, appealing and user friendly. Would recooment to anyone.

Cons

Some of the new look could do with some tweeks. Overall we are pleased with the software and the EPOS units themselves.

Once its up and running and training is undertaken , it works reliably. Support is good but you do sometimes have to work hard to get someone to udnerstand the issue

Pros

The quality and dedication of the support team. They own the problem and try to resolve it. The chatbot is also fairly useful. The back office allows my team to handle issues outside the shop.

Cons

They have just increased pricing for card payments only 5 months after I signed up. The initial product import sheets using excel are clunky and prone to formatting errors that not everyone at eposnow understands

Pros

Easy to use and takes away the hard work in a world where there is a lot of complicated programs I have to use this is stand out simple and stress free

I have nothing bad to say at all about this. Now the only thing that I could think of is that more shops should know about it

### "Excellent programme and service"

Very happy with over all experience, easy to use and product support was always there to help and resolve any problems, usually within hours.

Pros

As a beginner it was easy to use and set up once i had had a little practice using the system The new look which enables products to be displayed is much better

Cons

I had the most difficulty working out when i was supposed to unassign a till when working on it from home to reassigning when it needed to be used on site, it was a bit confusing, also when working on the PC my screen wouldn't show what was actually the same layout as when on site at the actual till, which wasn't really a problem

Very Positive, all of the customer service teams work hard to solve problems, problems get more and more rare as time goes on.

Pros

Very Affordable for start-ups, Extremely flexible and useable, would work for almost any line of business. Excellent Customer Service.

Cons

Start up equipment. I would rather have only bought the software, the hardware was very slow and flimsy. I no longer use 95% of the hardware, it simply didn't hold up. Software is the good part.
