Cons It labeled a lot of in house non-signed programs as suspicious, but with some exception mapping that was handled very easily. SentinelOne fits this request as they are watching for more than malware, but also watching and monitoring behavior. We have this deployed on several thousand endpoints now and it works just the way we wanted it to. Pros I like the way you can customize exclusions and alerts. I like the web console for endpoint management and the many options you have from there including taking an endpoint offline. Cons Navigating the web console is slow when you have many agents installed. Typically an endpoint reboot is required when you make any changes like a new exclusion, enable/disable the agent. This is not convenient of practical. Identifying the actual file or process that is the source of an alert can at times be challenging. Users rarely noticed it was on their machines, which is definitely a plus. Never seemed to slow down machines either. Cons The admin panel is definitely a little confusing, especially at first. Could be made much simpler. Also, uninstalling this product off machines were sometimes a pain. January 9, 2023 5.0 The fact that we have all featured turned on and spend less than a few hours per year managing the solution is exactly what anyone could hope for. Pros We were able to deploy the software with ease, single afternoon in testing for any necessary exceptions, and only 3-4 support tickets year 1&2. When was the last time you implemented a product with less effort? Cons Price but this is the first AV product I was involved in choosing/implementing from scratch. I can't speak to the cost other than it was much more than our previous solution but in time savings alone it has more than made up for this cost. They quarantine issues on the network and when users travel with their laptops Pros There is virtually no interaction from an admin standpoint after the install. This program catches and quarantines issues before they do damage. The notifications allow you to white list a program if it was blocked incorrectly Cons They have multiple consoles and knowing which one hosts which computers can be a bit hard.
