I would 100% recommend. Pros The setup is very easy and quick. The security it offers is top notch. Network security and threat detection is a huge issue in the world and Sentinel One delivers. Cons I don't really have anything negative to say about Sentinel One. I guess the only real thing that was sort of annoying was that is can tend to "over flag" programs etc. that aren't actually malicious. SentinelOne has verty small but powerful agent that gets deployed to your endpoints. From there you can literally see everything that's happening on a device. And that makes it possible for such a small program to perform miracles. Such as 1 click roll back when or if you got infected by Ransomware. I have been a loyal Kaspersky fan for many years but Nothing close to what SentinelOne can do. Pros The agent is small and lightweight. Does not require constant web updating. If perhaps you do get infected by Ransomware or a malicious malware. Worry not because the agent can perform a quick Rollk-Back event, Basically doing a System Restore to the last safe state. And Ransomware can't even overwrite or Damage system restore as SentinelOne takes over that service and space Cons They still haven't completely consolidated their Dashboards. So depending on the SentinelOne product or packages you purchase you will unfortunately have to navigate multiple Dashboard. I have used several other tools and they are just more price per agent with the same or less features. Pros I love the ease of use and vss rollback feature. We get our product through n-able and their support is second to none. Cons I have had trouble using their API. I would like to see better powershell modules & better ways of reporting. June 12, 2025 5.0 When I'm downloading various assets and files for design work, SentinelOne gives me peace of mind. I know I'm protected as I explore the web for things to use in my designs. Pros The design of it is really cool. It's modern and clean and keeps my computer safe from viruses and other threats. Cons It's usually been a great experience! Recently it has this consistent false positive that's been stuck there for a couple months. It doesn't seem to be malicious, but I have to double check sometimes. Review Source MD Michael D. Great product. Cons We had to do a better job of implementing groups within the locations, or sites we have. All of the workstations with it are running well and it has caught and cleaned up several infections and issues missed by previous solutions. Pros Easy to setup and manage. Services work well and their protection runs silently without any issues. Cons The price, it is a little high if you pay for it directly. I would recommend finding a VAR or solution provider and have it bundled in with a RMM, then the price is much better. The metrics inside the console allows you to track in the portal and confirm endpoint installs. Pros The software was very simple to deploy and ran seamlessly in the background. We did not experience and system lag when it was running or see any user complaints about performance. Cons I guess it would be that the price was higher than another provider and of course having a recent security breach doesn’t help. It gives us strong protection with minimal effort, and once we got used to the interface, it became a key part of our cybersecurity stack. Pros Strong threat detection, automatic remediation, easy deployment, and a clear dashboard that makes managing endpoints simple. Cons While SentinelOne offers excellent protection, the interface can be a bit complex, especially for new users. It takes some time to get comfortable navigating through the different features. Pros Sentinel One is a top notch Cyber security product that saved one of our customers from a large wide Malware/virus threat. All machines that had S1 enabled were virus free and the other computers that were in transition were infected. Cons I the major con that I had issues with the S1 portal was deleting or uninstalling an endpoint or updating endpoints. I had to manually update agents and they weren’t updating on their own. The agent that you install on servers or endpoints is lightweight and does not use so many resources that it slows down the system unlink other competitors. Moreover this solution doesn't produce so many false positive but all events ("incidents") are real events to investigate. In addition to this, the solution natively integrates with other products (not only for this brand) and offers an extensive API that you can use for integrating with custom applications (eg. Security Operation Center frameworks). Pros Lightweight agent. Low false-positive rate. API and integrations. Cons Not yet integrated mobile platform into the XDR platform. The simple UI with the access to the detailed product documentation, which provides comprehensive details needed for operations as well as troubleshooting. The support service, which responds rapidly and sorts out the issues within few mail correspondences. Cons They would require few feature additions in vulnerability management to compete with other leading vendors. They are continually looking at what they do and asking "Is there more that we can do with this data?" Not all of the ideas were ones we use, but they keep looking at ways to be more useful. In that process they have not lost view of the core objectives to find the bad software, its bad behavior, and kill it. If something is questionable it can track what it doe so that you can reverse it all later. Pros The AI and behavior based monitoring as well as the normal fingerprint. Visibility give you the ability to look at process story lines and see how a process was triggered. Cons There are some additional functions (like rogue devices) that sounded really neat, but they are not as useful to us as we thought they would be. We have had a few infections, which were caught and renediated, but nothing has given us any major grief. Pros Overall, Sentinel One is easy to deploy, easy to monitor and has many features that other AV solutions don't offer or only include at a higher price-point. If Vigilance is added to the subscription, you will sleep better at night. It is pricey, but, knowing that you have a team that responds intantly to an incident is priceless. They can remediate, investigate, roll-back and many other things. This has made my job far easier and I do sleep better at night knowing that someone is always looking out for my environment. Cons During our initial deployment, we had several PC's that had to be reloaded from scratch. This occurred when we began our initial deployment of Windows 10 in our environment. The version we were using caused the OS to stop functioning. Re-imaging was our only option. We reported, and were asked to try a newer version. No further issues and we only had a small handful of PC's affected. Only one other con so far....price. Sentinel One is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Pros For the past one year am using this product . What i like the most is its ability to find vulnerability in endpoint systems and sudden disconnection form the local network, which makes the other systems in the network safe. It even finds the scripts running in the endpoint and helps us to identify potential security breaches. Cons Being a cloud service sometimes the web login is not available and also the frequent updation of the User interface makes it really confusing . When ever a system is blocked from network and if there is no internet connection for the system its to much difficult to restore he network , only thing that we can so is to uninstall the software and then connect the network. I have been very impressed by this product and by their support. Pros The pricing is good for the quality of product you're purchasing, the detection is solid and picks up where other products might miss. Configuration and setup was intuitive and easy. Support has always been on top of whatever issues I have and resolves them quickly. Cons So far I have only had minor issues which their support has been quick to address. Thankfully we have had no major issues with it and it is working like it should!
