Pros

I like that trainers can add in videos demonstrating the exercises and can include a rest timer on higher intensity workouts.

Cons

I do not like when I get logged out of my workout even when I hit "log" in the top right corner. Every now and then it will glitch.

Pros

Ease of use and customer support! Super quick response to asked questions.

Cons

Have not found any negatives yet! But, we’re always looking for ways to make it and us better.

I needed a new platform for our business as we were expanding. Now we use the software to book for classes, personal training, massage, physical therapy, facials etc. We also run a 24/7 gym using this software to sell and manage it and use Kisi (integrated with exercise.com) for door access.

Pros

The ability to do EVERYTHING on 1 platform..... and my trainer \[sensitive content hidden\]:)

Cons

I can't come up with anything significant.

When I first inquired about their software, I was skeptical that they could do everything they claimed. This was based on some other software introductions I had before selecting Exercise.com. Since my initial setup and onboarding, they have kept their level of responsiveness and helpfulness at a level well above my expectations. I feel secure in investing in their software and running my business behind the scenes because of the support staff & success managers. The versatility of the software sold me initially, and their support since then has kept me on board.

Pros

Their Customer support is very friendly and patient when I inquire about specific questions on how to best use the options in their software for any use case I may dream up. Their Software does an incredible job working as a Brick and mortar gym management tool without limiting options for personalized Online coaching or stand-alone online training program/plan offers.

Cons

The learning curve is a little steep, and you really have to play around with it a lot to realize where all the customization options are, how they work nested inside other features, and how to use them. That's one thing that takes some getting use to. I would love more tutorials and more updated support docs to explain some of the workflows.

Pros

Working with \[sensitive content hidden\] was so seamless. She was able to take the time to listen to our every needs and really develop solutions to the best of her ability. She was well versed in all of the solutions and capabilities of the app. Clearly the best experience was the onboarding process.

Cons

The build out for the app took over 90 days and was caught in the middle of a process change that effected delivering our app. While I understand that it is not the norm, it was my experience.

Pros

The service reps are friendly and professional, know their stuff, and are pretty quick to respond. \[sensitive content hidden\] is our rep and does a wonderful job taking care of our needs and guiding us through the software.

Cons

Overall it's a great product. There are a couple of software issues like bill dates that don't show correctly on our end when we pause members.

We have had a successful experience with exercise and value the customer service the most. Abigail has been so helpful since we started and the entire customer service team is always quick to assist when we have questions

Pros

The platform is very customizable with many options to set up your services and offers that best fits your needs, and their customer service is incredibly helpful during the onboarding process!

Cons

Having so many set up options can be overwhelming to figure out the best way to operate, and the manager / dependent set up isn't great but we make it work!

Building out my app was very easy-\[sensitive content hidden\] was super helpful, always very responsive . Having her support along the way had been a total game changer!

Pros

The simplicity of it. Easy for users to navigate. Easy to create plans.

Cons

I do not like that when creating plans the days do not line up with the plan schedules in the app that users see. I create plans to start on Monday but when I publish them the week in the app runs Sunday to Saturday..this is very confusing to users because they think the first day is a rest day.

Our customer success manager is very knowledgable and very responsive.

Cons

It is difficult to set up gift card options for someone to purchase a gift card to give to another person. It would be great to have a feature where anyone can purchase a gift card (without having to create an account), a one time code is automatically generated and can be applied to any product or service.

I've been using exercise.com for almost 2 years now and i have had an overall great experience working with customer service and team.

Pros

I like being able to work with Abbie in building my app out and having that support. I also like the customization option and the ease of use to build programs, set up payments, scheduling, etc.

Cons

I would like to see more customization features considering the annual cost is not inexpensive. I'd also like to see the communication options for 1:1 clients to improve such as being able to send voice messaging and create and upload video recordings (right in messages or the discussion room) to clients and/or inside the discussion rooms for programs we are running as well. I'd also like to be able to integrate more than myfitness pal into the app - i use mymacros+ for my clients and to be able to connect that over would be supreme for myself but overall my clients experiences as well.

Had some trouble communicating with the technical onboarding team and going through the process of getting the apps approved by google and apple.

I’m not tech-savvy at all so it’s not intuitive to me despite it being very user friendly. Luckily it’s easier than others I’ve used and they walk you through every step.

Pros

So far my experience with exercise.com has been superb. I had an app built and it turned out sweet. My contact with my exercise.com team has been professional. Responses to my many questions have been timely and my POC \[sensitive content hidden\] has been super patient with my lack of IT knowledge.

Cons

There was a hick-up on the IT side of the house in the early phases when my app was being built. That situation was quickly resolved and we got back on track.

Cons

Length of the migration and the establish of the app is unfortunate and would be ideal if the process was quicker. But it is completely understandable as to why it takes the time it does. The name of the platform could use a little imagination haha
