It is has been good. \[sensitive content hidden\] has really helped me learn how to navigate the dashboard more efficiently. I'm a bit worried that the finished app will not be intuitive or easy for clients to use in terms of finding workouts that fit their needs quickly.

Pros

The people I have interacted with. \[sensitive content hidden\] is super helpful on each of our weekly calls. It is pretty intuitive I guess however it has been really helpful for \[sensitive content hidden\] to walk me through things that I was not able to quickly figure out on my own.

Cons

I don't know what I don't know. I don't like that there are not video demos with woman for every exercise option. It was really hard to get things moving in the app development process with the DUNS protocol. The wording for marketing help provided by Exercise.com is very misleading. Marketing to me means helping get my finalized app marketed via social media not just how I can write emails and texts to already existing clients.

As a one man shop myself and only having 2 gym assistants extremely part time investing in Exercise.com was an investment into building my team! The website houses all my invoicing, financial, scheduling, billing, programming needs and auto regulates much of that along with filing my client assessments, health, programming history etc. It has saved me time and money and peace of mind! More to come as we build our databasethe more we utilize our website!

Pros

That it is an all in one hub. I have saved money in being able to cancel all other website tools I was using and I dont have to bounce between anything while working now.

Cons

I am not tech savvy so learning the system to start was a little hard but having \[sensitive content hidden\] to walk me through it each week helped immensely and he was so patient with my lack of understanding! The customer support made up for! Some things are hard to see at first but a few weeks in you start to understand!

It's been a very positive experience so far and we look forward to taking full advantage of all the powerful features. My biggest fear of moving to the new system was (once again) losing all our clients info and mostly, all our clients credit card info. Exercise.com made that part easy!

Pros

Has EVERYTHING we need in one place! This is one powerful piece of software backed by some great people.

Cons

Sometimes has TOO much and I'm fishing about for how to solve something. Good thing \[sensitive content hidden\] is available. She knows the system inside and out and quickly gets me on the right track.

Overall good. We love our rep, but we've struggled at times to get the features that we need out of the software. It it difficult at times for all of us at the company to fully understand what some features do, and why other features don't exist. But overall it does the job for us.

Pros

The customer relations. Our customer relations agent, \[sensitive content hidden\], is one of the best I've ever worked with. She is extremely responsive and super helpful.

Cons

Their features are clunky - there are just so many of them that we don't use. Sometimes when we do attempt to use a feature, it doesn't work the way we would expect it to work.

Overall great, support is great. Just a few small details I would want to see improved

Custom app, modifiable, ease of use, customer support

Cons

App exits out of you phone if you switch to different app during workout. Analytics are hard to capture with integrating ads. Inputing 1RM with clients doesn’t transfer to client measurements. Building workouts is cumbersome as you can’t edit sets and reps for each week and exercise at the same time. Least favorite is that video hosting now cost money and framework changed. Using YouTube was a lot easier.

I really enjoy using exercise.com. If you're looking for an all-encompassing platform that can operate well as a CRM and a training program, then this is your answer. It's support staff does a great job with follow-up and provides a more customized/unique platform for gyms that competitors do not provide. I'd like to give a particular shout-out to \[sensitive content hidden\], my client success manager, who handles all my questions and needs. She's fantastic to work with an really gives you the feel like your particular needs are being heard and addressed.

Pros

I enjoy the all-in-one aspect of the platform. It's a CRM, including scheduling, billing, and communication; plus a platform to deliver your training programs and plans to clients. You can set up the platform to be your very own app in the app store. Clients only need to use one single app rather than multiple apps for scheduling, billing, and training.

Cons

The training plan part still needs some work to be able to easily create, navigate, and manage training programs, especially for in-person client sessions. For personal training gyms, especially those that train multiple clients, it's a necessity to create, edit, update, and manage training plans easily and efficiently on a daily basis.

Pros

Being able to organise all my clients in the one portal, being able to enter all the details of my teachers in the one platform and generate reports for my payroll as well as for my earnings for the week is super useful for my business.

Cons

Nothing I disliked, everything Exercise offers is useful for my company, I seriously couldn't fault it, I couldn't run my business without it.

Pros

Ease of use. Integration with Kisi. All in one system. Ability to manage things in one piece of software is super nice.

Cons

Billing reporting needs some refinement. Trying to find things like exact billing and expected billing requires a lot of reports and some manual export.

1\. It works well as a "fitness" programming tool, but there's some weakness as a "sports performance" programming tool. 1a: Video analysis tools for sports skill remote coaching would be useful. 2. Nutrition coaching has to be manual. Automating that would be easier.

Overall, Exercise.com has filled some much needed voids from our previous software. We realize there is no perfect software, but the company seems adaptable and receptive to our needs.

Pros

The on boarding process was great, and customer service has been wonderful. We love the white label app, and the overall look and feel of the software is good.

Cons

The reports are great, but very hard to set all the correct data points to get the information needed. I do think the scheduling process could be a little smoother, and the communication side of the software is still a bit antiquated.

Overall it’s been good. We’ve been using exercise.com for 3 years now.

Pros

We love how we can put workouts together and people can access them from all over. The customer service and onboarding process was great too. Easy to set up.

Cons

The way it does billing is a bit wonky. It’s so hard to change charge dates and is confusing. The only way I have been able to figure it out is to start a new contract and cancel the old one which isn’t a good way to do it.

If you’re looking for someone who truly takes ownership and brings a high level of professionalism to client success, Sage is it.

Pros

Quick responses and good at taking initiative. They were patient waiting for my responses, and really good at knowing what I most likely struggling with and proactively following up to help me stay on task.

Cons

Just like any system, there’s a learning curve, as well as a couple things that don’t line up perfectly with my business. But the pros far away the cons.

They have been great and unbelievably responsive from the first sales contact to ever question I had during migration and after. They did ALL the heavy lifting all I had to do was provide clean data.

Pros

It's ease of use and the migration team was amazing. They helped me migrate, with hiring IT people. The system itself is hugely flexible and packed with canned report, which can be modified to your needs. They even created a new feature for the platform based on my needs.

Cons

We negotiated a good price for my two small gyms, but my next tier is a leap. Ask lots of questions during the sales process

It's been great so far. Everyone has been very responsive and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

Pros

How robust and comprehensive the platform is definitely the biggest strength. There's tons of tools and options that were able to customize relatively quickly. I have not seen this on another platform.

Cons

The only con is that there is not a mobile app friendly backend.

When individuals have downloaded the app, they have reported a very positive experience which has been great. Not much we can do about people who have trouble navigating tech. Ease of use and automations have made it easy for billing and communicating messages.

Cons

There has been confusion for some parents on the registration process but most of that comes from user error. If there was a way to have registration lead to a breakdown / tutorial on how to use the app, that would help parents a lot.

I really enjoy the software's interface and dynamic business tools. However, my CSM, \[sensitive content hidden\], has been the absolute BEST and has truly been invaluable to my experience at Exercise.com. I've learned so much from him with each meeting and he has always been willing to help me whenever I needed him. He's the best!

Cons

There aren't a lot of apps that I am able to integrate into my platform and the products tools are very limited. I would like to sell products directly on the platform, but it seems as though I would need an additional app, which I am then unable to integrate directly into the web platform.

From sign up to just about to getting our app launched, exercise.com has been helpful every step of the way. There's been someone available at any time of the day outside of onboarding meetings to get any technical issues solved quickly and any bigger system errors have been dealt with and solved with urgency.

Pros

Great success team that helps get you exactly what you want.

Nothing. I have yet to come across an issue or feature exercise.com hasn't been able to set up for me or find an alternative for.

It has been an ongoing struggle with trying to implement everything exercise.com has to offer. We were told onboarding would take up to 60 days. We have been at it for 6 months and I feel like there is so much more left to use. I wish there was a way for us to pay someone, that was dedicated to our site to set everything up for us. We are trainers, not computer programmers. Thank goodness for \[sensitive content hidden\], but she has multiple customers to help as well.

Pros

Being able to keep track of clients both those that come in to workout in our studio and those that are online. I like having \[sensitive content hidden\] helping us with all the questions we have about the software. I also like having the app for our clients to access their accounts and the ability to schedule classes and appointments

Cons

The many features can get confusing when trying to build out our online training programs. The group feature is very confusing with assigning certain programs to certain members.

Pros

I love how they teach you how to use the platform before it is fully in your own hands. Education is super important for business owners, and I believe each owner should know how to operate their back end systems.

Cons

Originally when I wanted to develop an app for my company I wanted to have a technical analysis feature for my coaching program which exercise.com did not offer. However it offered everything else I was looking for, and the price matched what I was looking for. I understand I would have paid a lot more to get the technical analysis aspect incorporated, but could potentially be a feature to include in the future.

It feels like a product that is still finding its stride and is not as visually appealing for customers as many of the other interfaces they see on a daily basis or as other fitness apps often are.

Pros

This is really just a huge shout out and THANK YOU to \[sensitive content hidden\] for her fabulous customer support! She is A-mazing and consistently handles off the wall requests from us with quick responses and a patient ear for our problems. I always feel like we're going to find some kind of solution, new trick or easier way to accomplish a task when we in get in touch with her. As far as exercise.com itself, what I like the most is that the platform is being improved as time goes on.

Cons

That the financial reporting was limited. It was also confusing for athletes to purchase training sessions and schedule them. This may be more a reflection of how we set up our on training options on the back end, but the customer's app experience was not particularly visually appealing and often times was difficult to use due to options menus or buttons populating to outside of the usable screen on phones.
