I have used Pixpa primarily for website hosting and creation rather than blogging, but the platform provides the tools needed to support a blog as well. October 3, 2026 5.0 I was tired of paying premium prices for Squarespace when every template started looking identical. I wanted a platform tailored specifically for creatives that gave me better structural control (like blog sidebars) and better pricing without sacrificing visual quality. Pixpa delivered on all fronts. Pros Compared to Squarespace, my Pixpa sites are much more creative. Squarespace sites have started to feel very generic and cookie-cutter over the years, whereas Pixpa gives my sites a much more distinct, creative edge. Another pro is the price. The pricing is significantly more affordable than Squarespace, especially given the range of built-in features. Cons The rich editor can be a bit clunky, pasting text directly from Google Docs or Word often brings over weird hidden formatting, forcing me to strip it into plain text first. Squarespace handles copy-pasting rich text much better. Owner Entertainment Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Not worth giving them money" April 13, 2025 1.0 Functional but a constant stress and headache where you have to check to make sure your website is working on a bi-weekly basis, occasionally have serious problems like sale galleries not loading images, only for the staff to not listen or attempt to fix it. I'm leaving this negative review because of my experiences with them being challenging. Pixpa is for people who don't want to take their business seriously. Cons Not integrated AI yet. For Photographers, now days.. AI has gone far . We need to use other tools.. now.. Face Recognisation : Only those people selected pics hsould be there. Fav Selection : IS really a tough on the web. Have communicated multiple times to team but no update. ACTUAL : Once he likes the photo , for each and every photo he need to select the fav list to which that photo needs to go. I am almost done with my new site and I am really happy. Things were pretty easy to figure out and when I got stuck there are tons of videos out there to walk you through it. I think they offer help too. Pros I thought the price was great compared to what i was seeing on shopify, sq space, ect for a site with a portfolio and be able to have a private portfolio with a log in. Cons The portfolios were geared towards photographers but I think they should market to graphic designers too.
