Pros I like that you can store your media and move it around to visually plan your instagram aesthetic. The link.in.bio tools makes it useful to guide followers to check the link in your bio. Also, for instagram stores and ecommerce stores, the shoppable links are awesome to be able to plan and not have to worry about later. Their website and blog also has a lot of valuable content and information for all social media marketers. Cons Honestly, I am happy with Later overall. I wish that you could auto-post scheduled stories. They keep relative with the social trends and new updates within the social platforms to help give insightful tips! Pros Later is very user friendly and they make it so easy to schedule out content for Instagram! I really like how they have the option to share a calendar link of what upcoming posts you have scheduled. I use that all the time to share upcoming social content with my team! Pros This is the first software I found that let me schedule Instagram posts successfully. It also has a very clean, pleasing interface and great way to help you visualize the content you are sharing. A lot of other options promise the ability to schedule posts, but really only let you plan out what you'll share without the software actually posting it on its own. This is a huge game changer for me, enabling me to share content more freely and strategically. Cons The only issue I've had is with cropping images that aren't square. Sometimes it provides an error message about the crop ratio but I will have a difficult time finding a crop that works, having to take more of a trial and error approach. Pros I like everything the LATer represents and wanted to use this feature for my social media platforms. It promises to post photos for you and show analytics of your posts which is great these days. Cons I find it didn't match up to what it promised to do. When posting a photo 'later' you still need to go onto the app and make sure the photo has posted, so it defeats the purpose of having to remember to post in general. It won't give you any info on your posts and how they are performing until you post with them as well. I ended up getting rid of it. I can spend a solid couple days making my content then scheduling it in a way that will look pleasing. Then the rest of the days I can focus on engaging with others. Pros Being able to visually see what i'm going to post and what it will look like on my page is game changer. I love being able to plan out my social media posting for a whole month, see it laid out on a calendar and easily move things around then have it AUTOMATICALLY post. Not just for Instagram but Facebook as well. You can also save hashtags so you don't have to keep writing them out. Cons The only problem I've every really had is setting it up. Pros This is the easiest scheduling platform I've used and I've used a few. Offers hashtag suggestions for IG. All my social media platforms can be done at once. It has a simple calendar type interface with a drag & drop and you can see at a glance when the posts will go live across the week. Support is prompt and excellent. Cons Hashtag suggestions are provided for instagram only, it would be good if they could show trending twitter ones - I have made the suggestion which is going to be worked on. I use it for Facebook and Instagram posts for the business and it has helped keep me sane when it comes to mass posting. The calendar makes it really easy to see what you're posting and have scheduled and the options for scheduling are great and really allow you to customize your scheduling so it fits your business needs. Cons I have been having a major issue with the pictures I've been scheduling through Later. Even though the pictures are clear when I schedule them, they are posted super pixelated and blurry when Later actually posts them to Instagram especially. This is not great, and I've had to take down the blurry posted ones and go back and repost them. Review Source John B. The ability to preview the feed is extremely helpful for planning content and allows for a gorgeous profile view of your content. Additionally, Later comes with the "link in bio" feature, which allows for us to send users to various posts. Cons Using Later from a phone can be difficult, especially if you want to reschedule a post after you have already received the notification that it was supposed to be published. Account switching is weird, it's never clear which social media platform you're managing, and the ability to make one post for multiple accounts at once is missing. Cons You can only schedule to one profile ( facebook & insta) I have also used buffer's free account and they allow you three profiles which is better if you have more than one page you have to set up for. There is also a really nice feature where you can "link in" bio to one URL without having to continually change your URL in your bio. The Free version (i.e., Basic) version of the product works great for my needs. Cons Integration was easy but it takes a little while to get used to the UX. Once you get used to it, it's a great product. I wish it was possible to "preview" the tiling of the posts without actually having to calendar them.
