My Experience with RDS has been great so far! it's a great product! you rocks!

Pros

you have in one place all your own and customer's servers connections. Thats is so great! and the spectrum of types of connections is also amazing!!

Cons

performance, in some VM's is it slow to use it.

Enjoy it very much part from the passwords vie and the permissions management (subfolders - no traversal)

Pros

I like that I as an IT manager can centrally manage all remote connections for our users.

Cons

When trying to use it as a password manager, the view is very not comfortable. this is stopping us from migrating our passwords fully to RDM and use it as a central password\\secrets management.

My overall experience with Remote Desktop Manger is good. The capability to work from home and access my files on my work PC has helped with completing projects on time.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that I am able to access my work computer from home. My home PC doesn’t have all the programs and files I need to access when I am working from home. Instead of saving files on a flash drive and bringing it home, I can access the files directly through my work PC.

Cons

What I dislike most about this software is most of the time when I am using it, there is a horrible lag. I am not sure if this is because of the software or possibly the internet connection I use.

RDM has significantly reduce the operational overhead of session and password management. Team members have access to what they need without having to 'discover' resources.

Pros

Centralized control of session and supporting information. Ability to apply standard session recording and logging policies.

Cons

Low resolution, and no ability to upscale, session video recordings. This severely limits our ability to identify and improve operational workflows. Network scripting is limited.

\- Working speed - Not clear information about program settings and each setting particularly. Not in the program nor in the documentation sometimes. - Import / Export setting not supported via Devolutions Hub

It has an iniative interface, using Tabs to handle multiple connections. also the varaities of connection types, it covers wide range of connectors even team viewer is here. saving the credintials per connection, folder is wonderfull

sometimes setup connections to OS's rather than windows is confusing

You can keep all your remote connections (RDP, SSH, VNC, etc.) in one place. Connections, VPN settings, credentials, and other settings can be organised through a console. This simplifies management.

Cons

It is slow when the software is first started or when working with large databases (many connection definitions, VPNs, credentials, etc.).

Overall my experience with was mostly positive, with minor errors interrupting my usage, I used it during covid when only basic software packages were on client's machines and it served me very well.

Pros

It's a very simple and basic program which does it's job and that is all it is there to do. The remote desktop functionality is perfect if that's all you need it to do.

Cons

Going in you don't expect much else other than remote access but, somehow it still felt lacking in terms of user interface, I feel it could benefit from being redesigned for a modern era.

I was working on a voting task which required a lot of people and finishing as soon as we can but the problem was how we could even meet up when we wasn't in the same location, so we decided to use the Remote Desktop Management so that we can finish on time and at a high pace and we did it. Usually, the task could have taken more days or weeks but with the help of Remote Desktop Management, there was everything at our plate and all we was asked to do was using our speed only, i mean, the security was well maintained, their was real-time monitoring system which kept our boss very updated every time and the interface was very user friendly.

Pros

There is a lot of things to like about this software but the most ones are it's Improved efficiency, RDM can streamline the management of remote desktop systems, reducing the time and effort required to manage these systems. Increased security, RDM provides a secure way to manage remote desktop systems, helping to prevent unauthorized access and ensuring that sensitive data is protected. Centralized management: Remote desktop management provides a centralized way to manage remote desktop systems, allowing administrators to easily monitor and manage these systems from a single location and it is a very good software when it come to the integration due to it's API ( Application Programming Interface) which can be configured to work well with other different softwares even third-party ones and all of these. lead to an strong organisation.

Cons

Likely, like all technology softwares, RDM has also some limitations like: 1.Complexity: RDM can be complex to set up and manage, especially for organisations that have large and complex remote desktop environments. 2.Performance issues: RDM can impact the performance of remote desktop systems, especially for organisations that have a large number of remote desktop systems. 3.Security concerns: Although RDM provides increased security for remote desktop systems, it can also introduce new security risks, such as the possibility of unauthorized access to remote desktop systems or the loss of sensitive data . 4.Cost: RDM can be expensive, especially for organisations that have large and complex remote desktop environments. And due to all those reasons, some users may quit using it and start looking for new softwares.

For me, is a must. I don't need to remember or check address and credential for every machine/site I need to be connected (or create many RDP shortcuts on desktop), my work is simplified. RDP also keeps a connections log.

Pros

I daily use as I need to remote connect to many server and https websites, and it allows me to do these tasks in a quick way and save a lot of time. First You create a connection choosing the type and filling all the informations required. Every time you will need to connect you will just have to click on open session button. If you need to change anything in the connections you create, just right click on properties and set the new value (e.g. the password).

Cons

The program may take some time to load and may seems to hang The configuration of SQL source may need some knowledgement

I've had a very positive experience with RDM and have been using it for many years. It's stable, powerful and secure - I wouldn't consider changing for something else.

Pros

is extremely easy to use and provides a single pane of glass to connect to my customers. It's a time saver and makes customer management much easier than before. Also, their support services are great. Any support request is promtly answered by knowledgeable support staff.

Cons

The software is sometimes slow when you have too many entires in the vault, which can make it heavy at startup.
