Manager Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Good Product with No Support" June 7, 2024 4.0 The bottom line is that the people you call cannot help(sounds familiar) and when I said I would like to cancel my service they simply said okay I will send you a form. Pros Lots of data available. Identified weaknesses and strengths in our system. Cons Originally I had a team leader who would send me updates and I scheduled Zoom meetings for questions related to my reports. Apparently they did away with that concept and all of a sudden I no longer had any support except screen shots through e-mail. Then they would have to research the question and it began to be ridiculous. When I called for help they said someone would reach out but all I got was the e-mail question and we cannot make outgoing calls. Without customer support and good service this product becomes overly expensive and frustrating. Reason for choosing Semrush I thought this was going to be a good fit but it turned out to be an expensive mistake. I reached out to them to see if anyone was willing to speak with me but sadly I was not important enough. I currently am purchasing two different products that when used together have the functionality of Semrush at a cheaper price. Pros I loved the analytics, the Keyword tracking and all the research tools available. Cons I hate the cost. It is very pricey and many smaller bloggers/businesses go together to get a monthly subscription. This goes against Semrush's terms of service. They know this is happening, but they turn a blind eye. You need to add something special to your site, and the tool does not spot the "wow" factor on any site. Pros As an SEO consultant, what I like the most about SEMRush is that it includes almost all the features I need on a daily basis: it allows me to analyze my website and my competitors' websites at a glance, it helps me keep track of the backlinks I have, and it enables me to conduct quick SEO audits. Additionally, it's very user-friendly. Cons In my opinion, there are two cons of SemRush: First of all, sometimes there are more-specific tools for some taks. For example: I prefer to use SERPROBOT for Keyword Tracking, Ahrefs for Backlinking/Outreach campaigns and Keyword Planner from Google Ads for keyword research. Lastly, the problem with SemRush is that it's quite pricy. The Guru plan is around 250USD. Switched from [Ahrefs](https://www.capterra.com/p/176340/Ahrefs/) I tested both.
