If you are only looking for a software to figure net worth excel software has templates already setup for free. If looking for comprehensive finance management then this software is work you will need.

Pros

The ability of the software to connect and track individual stock prices with out having all your personal information in the cloud.

Cons

The software has went from buying the software once to having pay for an annual subscription. The software is limited on the phone app.

Good. I use it everyday and find it very useful. I use it for day to day as well as monthly bill pay and budgeting. I use it on the business and professional level.

Pros

That evening is organized,there are many options,categories and graphics showing your budget,balances etc.

Cons

Glitches. Sometimes, when there's an update, it does not automatically pull the data. I have found that happens and i dint enen know it. Updates from the bank or credit cards dont happen. This can be days weeks or months that you miss pending.On how much time has lapsed since you realized it.And then you have to put things in manually.

This is still the universal standard, new capabilities and plenty of opportunities to customize but expensive and hard to transition from

This is still the go to bill keeping and invoice tracking software for us, it has new features like send auto reminders that level it up

It’s expensive for the lowest tier service and if you ever try to transition away they make it hell to get your data

Daily updates of transactions and values gives me a good idea of my finances and give me peace of mind

Somewhat antiquated and website doesn’t work well. I still use the desktop application which works well but an online experience would be nice

I use Quicken to aggregate all my personal financial accounts so I can quickly work my family budget. I no longer have to log into several different sites to see current balances or recent transactions. I also like that you can manually add assets that are paid in full already to give true net worth estimates.

Pros

I love that I can access Quicken Simplifi via the app on my phone or via the website. I also really appreciate that my bank, credit card, and liability accounts can all be linked so the data is aggregated into Quicken for me.

Cons

The only con I have is that some accounts that require authentication or regular password changes get disconnected from the app because of this. Not really a fault of the software but still an inconvenience.

Have used it for many, many years. Would love to see them develop the program further with Android full suit access.

Pros

Reliability Ease of transaction entry Charts and graphs, downloads of transaction, property and debt calculations.

Cons

Web access is not the best. Software seems to work best when on main computer, not remotely. Web App is very basic.

If you can't afford/don't want to have an accountant and have a small business with not too many payments/invoices to keep track of, this can be a good option. If you are larger scale, it's not quite enough for me.

Pros

I like having all my income streams in one place and being able to create rudimentary invoices (although I prefer another platform to be honest).

Cons

Some useful features are tied to certain payment tiers, which can be frustrating if I'd like them but not use them often enough to make it worth paying for. I had some data sync issues from time to time.

I have been using Quicken for over 20 years, and I have found it extremely helpful in managing my expenses, tax filings, and keeping records (invoices, receipts) safely stored.

Pros

Quicken's user interface is extremely intuitive as it follows the format of a checkbook register. The categorization and reporting allows me to easily find past expenses, and finalize IRS tax preparation at a click of button! I loved it when Quicken added tags, so I can be as detailed as possible without being forced to add subcategories. I had a very technical question on a process, and customer support answered promptly.

Cons

I understand the financial need to move to an annual fee, and the change to an online platform. However, I preferred the security of having only a desktop version and backing up my data on external hard drives. I also found that system more economical.

Makes managing my rental property a breeze. You can download most of your transaction from both banks and cards. With little work you can categorize each transaction (create custom categories) on your own time. At any time, you can create a "Custom Report" to see if all the tenants have paid their rent or see what you have spent in the last year on any unit. Great tool!!!!

Pros

Makes tax time easy! Makes managing my rental property a breeze. You Can easily create custom reports to analyze your fanatical situation.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to customize the categories to be able to create simple reports to find the information that you need, but when you are done the time was well worth the effort!
