Software Engineer Financial Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great features and easy to use" August 15, 2025 5.0 I have used Lattice for goals, 1:1 updates, PTO requests, viewing the organization chart, and completing various company surveys. I find all these tasks to be easy to do within Lattice. Pros Lattice is easy to learn and provides a lot of features for our company. The ability to find features and information is also easy with the home page and left-hand navigation bar. Cons The tool is laid out very well. The biggest compaint about it that I have is understanding how to set up goals. There is a SMART goals section and a grow section. For setting up personal goals, the right selection is "grow", but I often forget and select SMART goals which are more department or company-wide things in my experience with the tools. Pros Lattice has been a great tool to help manage the team, have effective communication as a group, and individually, conduct performance reviews, and give the team a greater sense that the company truly cares about their development as employees. Cons I think the thing that is most challenging about Lattice is that many of the feature are great, but the pricing for them outweighs the potential benefit given the size of our organization. The platform is very intuitive, making it easy for both managers and employees to engage with the process. I also like the clear visibility into performance trends, which helps drive better conversations. The integrations with other tools save time, and the customization options mean we can tailor surveys and reviews to our exact needs Cons Some areas can feel a little overwhelming at first, as there are many features to get familiar with. The reporting dashboards could be more flexible with customisation options, and occasionally navigation feels a bit clunky when switching between modules. They are able to leave notes or questions for our meetings and I can respond directly on the platform Pros I like being able to send or receive feedback. I like being able to schedule recurring meetings with direct reports and keep track of what we spoke about previously. Cons The options for talking points are not worded realistically. They are continuously rolling out new features, have prioritized AI functionality, and have a really great customer support team to help us with all of our questions along the way. Pros The customization of question templates and review cycles has been such a pro. We've appreciated the ability to customize permission profiles. The user experience and interface are really easy to follow, and their recent AI phone functionality for review writing and search bar questions is a big time-saver. Cons We integrate Lattice with Rippling (our HRIS), and there are some limitations with custom fields for demographic data that will sync between the two systems. But once they start using the system they enjoy and get value from it. This was particularly obvious during review periods where a lot of the needed information was already available in the goals and one-on-one meetings. Pros Documenting and assisting managers and staff with one on ones. Goal setting options and customization Cons There have been a few custom reports or tweaks that would be nice. Lattice is linked directly to our HRIS and we can not make changes in Lattice that are not in the HRIS - Example, if we wanted a person to be a shared manager or supervisor in Lattice, but did not want to make that change in HRIS. Pros I appreciate that our "Praise" channel is integrated within Lattice (or vice versa) - that allows one to document feedback for colleagues and share it with the HR Team while also praising the colleague publicly within the organization. I like that it creates a transparent way to share goals; I can see everyone's goals and they can see mine. This is great to track progress for growth/promotion reasons and it keeps me accountable. This also gives me a view into goals across departments so I gain more insight into the overall business. Cons My least favourite thing about lattice is the UI itself. " June 12, 2024 4.0 It is a great tool, easy to use and simple to set up. The Lattice team is incredible and always available to help troubleshoot, set up and guide us whenever the need arises. Pros The survey feature is a great tool for our company. We use this to gain valuable insights into the sentiments of employees regularly over the year. We also make use of the reviews feature twice a year to conduct our performance feedback cycles. These are wonderful tools for managers who have all the previous feedback, 1:1s, updates and other data from Lattice at hand when completing their performance reviews. Cons I find the data quite difficult to navigate with certain features. Some of the analytics are really amazing, and the info we get from the surveys is really wonderful. However, when it comes to more intricate reporting Lattice doesn't make it easy to find the data I am looking for. When unrolling new products, leaders and employees are able to absorb navigation fairly quickly Cons There's a lot of features that seem to be built off of specific customization or backend architecture set up that doesn't quite connect seamlessly across platforms. For example, some permissions are easily created for the engagement platform that are not available in the Performance Platform. June 11, 2024 4.0 I've only been at my company for a short while, but I implemented Lattice in an old role 4 or 5 years ago. It's been incredible to watch the journey of product development and growth over the years. In general, I've had a really easy time getting help or support where I need it. Pros Lattice sits at the center of many of our management practices. We leverage the Updates feature to create valuable time in 1:1s, which we also manage in Lattice. We also use their Goal and Growth modules to manage OKRs and Individual Development Plans, respectively, allowing us to track and drive conversations between managers and teams. This also creates a ton of transparency for us as an organization. Cons Some of the survey and review administration can be less than intuitive to find or implement.
