### "I didn't know a chat platform could be this bad."

Pros

Nothing at all. It is amazingly frustrating and annoying to use. Just use Slack, HipChat, or anything else but this.

Cons

The UI is an utter trainwreck. Fundamental things like starting a new chat or referring to a prior one are ridiculously unintuitive. Notifications are also broken. There is no shortage of pointless self-promotional notifications from Flock, but actual chat popups don't work half the time. You will also get email spam from Flock on a regular basis, and their unsubscribe links do not do anything. Unfortunately, my employer has chosen to use this product for the time being. It is not a decision I support, at all. I really hope we go back to using Slack.

We are aware of some of the problems (the UI issues) you mentioned as we are actively working on them. Wrt the chat popups not working for you, our support team would get like to get in touch with you to figure out what the problem is and fix it as soon as possible.

Flock helped us to communicates between our team alot. I'm using this for last few years and its features are improving day by day. Earlier we used it within in a team of around 250+ members are using it.Good Job team.

Cons

I feel that they need to improve the user interface. Current interface is looks good but need to add more features and make it as a colorful one.

Pros

I like it's very user-friendly interface. The app is very straightforward when it comes to its features.

Cons

What I like least about this app is that the admins cannot change the team members' information. Having to change the members' details will requires complicated steps. I hope we can give more power to the admins.

I used to think it was another technology piece that would add more chaos to my workday, but it actually simplifies collaboration and communication between colleagues.

Pros

quick communication with colleagues: I can see if my text is delivered, read and I can react to what I am reading with emojis' etc. Hopefully it's as good as being in the same room with them.

Cons

I don't like the dashboard. it is cluttered and not attractive. Everything looks the same and when I first used it I couldn't even figure out the simplest actions.

I wouldn't be able to do my job fully without it.

Pros

Connectivity with the features. I like the fact that I can add all sorts of files and that it notifies me by not being green if my messages have been reviewed. Also, the typing updates are good. I like the drawer and the statuses and Polls. The to-do lists and reminders are great!

Cons

I couldn't delete a created channel within my work network; message said to contact the Admin. I just created one for a group of co-workers and now I couldn't delete it. Who knows if it was a bug. I will try later. What can I say the only thing I haven't been able to do out of all my daily tasks it works for all the inter-office communication I need.

Pros

Its great for file and document sharing. Even better for communicating with either a team of single employee. Love that is displays info on their profile so can contact them easily. Helps keep me very organised with its to do listy and reminders :-)

Cons

Limited intergrations. Lots of updates so app has to be restarted regularly

Pros

Easy to communicate with other team members and to create channels. I like the app and how messages are notified.

Cons

It tries to do a bit of everything but fails to do things well. Slack is a better internal communication tool. Trello and Kanban Flow are better project management tools. This one kind of sits in the middle, but doesn't really work for our team. It is hard to share files and links, and the "pin" function is a bit confusing.

Easy to manage team and share files and notes with the team

Pros

Flock fills the gap of tasks management and team communication at one place. We always wanted to have a task management and communication at one place and flock has solved the problem here. With unlimited chat history you never loss the conversation. Sharing files and notes are very easy when compared to other team management software. I definitely recommend this for every team.

Nothing much they have all the box ticked

Pros

Ability to message group and also individual via same window interface. Also has phone app and do not disturb

Cons

Sometimes you get emails about missed comunications sometimes there are none and no idea why. voting system is confusing.

Overall experience is fairly neutral as I only used it for 1 year to communicate between a large amount of stake holders working in a live shopping centre environment. For communication between the group this worked well, however, I did not test other features.

Pros

We used this software to communicate between stakeholders working with a live shopping centre environment. This worked well to add people easily and communicate urgent issues to the whole team via notifications for examples such as stopping noise or water leak identified etc.

Cons

The software feels a little clunky when using. Overall it still works well for certain functions

At this stage we work on scheduling, job and responsibility assignments, follow up, updates, etc. using Flock to keep the entire team on the same page. It has proven to be simple and effective to use.

Pros

The collaborative features are what I like most about this software. It helps me track what other team members are doing, engage in discussions and be part in collaborative decision making. It helps give cohesiveness to our virtual team.

Cons

None that I can think of... I would be interested in seeing if things can be customized at a later date.

Seems more adept for people who don't mind being inundated with useless messages and such. But for those who can take it, this might be the piece of software for you.

Pros

We have a residential community that was searching for a tool to be able to connect with everyone in the neighborhood and found it in Flock.

Cons

Where did all the bots come from? And it makes it hard for the user to unsubscribe to all the spammy emails. My poor neighbors who wanted out...

Overall, Flock has made virtual communication between our entire business as well as small sub-groups effortless. This software is especially useful for those who have to work from home, who miss a meeting, or for managers to send out announcements and reminders.

Pros

Flock is an easy to use software that did not take me along time to get the hang of. A communication software like Flock is a valuable platform to communicate with coworkers as a whole or within sub-groups for small projects within a business. Integrating all of the coworkers was a simple process which allowed for the smooth integration of online communication for our business.

Cons

With all of the features that Flock offers, such a videochat, the ability to set reminders, make to-do list, it is hard to imagine additional features that would improve the main objective of software like Flock.

Plug and play with many features available for free. Able to share documents with team members on Flock and able to pin important messages to the top of the chat. All in all, a great tool for communication

Cons

A little difficult to fully grasp how to navigate the software initially due to the many features available. However, after a little while of usage it becomes an indispensable communication tool

Slack was limiting our ability to upload images, and had no way to delete very old images, so we had to make a move. Flock has been a great choice.

Pros

Set up was easy. Support staff was very responsive on a few questions I had. They have more functionality than Slack. And they have better pricing for the premium version.

Cons

Could you a few formatting fixes to make it easier to see unread messages. Everything else is great though.

Pros

We've tried Skype as our team communication app, it was good, but faced with advertisements, and we kept on receiving spam from hacked accounts, no integration as well so Flock is a better option. 1. 5 integrations in Flock for their free plan. 2. Group video calls. 3. Affordable than its competitor.

Cons

I like Skype's new redesign better than Flock's current UI. Their interface a bit too complicated for us. A little bit slow.
