The daily agenda was very efficient. I like all of the various features on the app and the ability to see the bios of all of the speakers. Pros Great app and easy to use! I liked the options to chat with other participants and seeing the photos from others. The daily agenda was great also. Cons The chat feature was a little chaotic but I was able to navigate it fairly well once I figured things out. Review Source JG Julie G. Now that we are a few conferences in, we're able to leverage previous conference info to build content for the new conference. LOVE THAT!! Pros I love the engagement and set up is very easy Cons It's sometimes challenging getting the right image sizes on the back end. However, it is very helpful that you provide what size they need to be. But, I end up doing a lot of editing and resizing outside of Whova to get the images right. Pros I love that I could see the itinerary for the entire conference listed ahead of time, I could see who was attending and engage with people ahead of time as well. Cons there is nothing that I dislike about Whova, I have used this app before for a couple of other conferences and always get excited when I see it is going to be used for an upcoming conference. Pros The quality of video, the sound and color is very clear and rich. Assigning self to the workshops and a visual of my agenda was useful. The sign on was difficult from remote location as I connected through my work email. In the past an email was sent with the link, click, sign on and connect. Cons How we signed on to the meeting. Pros The fee structure of Whova is far and away better than other event platforms I've used. We use Whova for a fundraising event, so lower fees help us raise more money for charity. Everything on the platform is super intuitive and user-friendly. Cons It's not a con, but there are a lot of features I don't use on the platform so I don't necessarily use it to the most of its capabilities. Switched from [Eventbrite](https://www.capterra.com/p/114949/Eventbrite/) Eventbrite's payment fees were too high, whereas Whova was much more reasonable. Review Source KM Kim M. Will definitely recommend to others in the future and hope to use again if and when attending another conference. Pros easy to navigate and real-time communication with other attendees for networking purposes. Descriptions for each presentation and the target audience was helpful to determine which sessions to attend. Cons Not a dislike, unsure if I bypassed this option when logging in but it would be helpful for other attendees whose primary language is either Spanish or other to have this option. Pros I only experience some of the registration aspect and I was really happy with the app. I liked the fact that I could check in registrants at the same time they collected their badges and paraphernalia. It allowed me to see who was not checked in. Overall it made the registration process an ease. I was able to find the session agenda for each day and this made it quite easy to direct the registrants to the correct rooms for their sessions. Pros Real-time connections! The tech innovation was a great platform to connect well with peers. Looking forward to more collaborations. Cons No phone number to call a colleague who cannot be reached at the conference. I believe this is an area that needs improvement. However, with Whova, their reminders are perfect. Pros When there is an event, activity, or training, we can be informed through Whova very quickly and easily. The notifications always arrive very correctly and we can interact virtually as well. I also like that I can view the events and activities that they schedule in an orderly manner with the date and time Cons It is easy to use and very useful. It invites each attendee to engage in meaningful ways and makes it easy for event organizers to provide updates, link to session resources, and spotlight speakers. Pros This is my favorite conference app, I absolutely loved how the display made it easy to find sessions and connect with attendees. It's very clear, and it has all the tools for making connections, attending online events, taking notes, finding groups, and so on. Pros Whova brings the energy to software for meetings and online events! It's brash in the best way: focused, ever-present, helpful, useful, full of productive options. Cons I did not like that I was using it on a computer in my Philadelphia, PA dining room, instead of at the week-long Computational Linguistics Conference in Abu Dhabi. I am sure participating in Whova-listed meetups to go ride dune buggies across the Abu Dhabi desert to have dinner in a huge carpeted tent with live music was MUCH more fun than just reading about meetups on Whova.
