I knew when event times had changed and where meetings were located. Pros It was easy to navigate and find the information I needed, specially building my own agenda. I did not know about hotel parking but I found a topic in the community that was extremely helpful. Cons I wish there had been a directory to know which floor rooms were on for meetings. May 7, 2026 5.0 My first time, I loved this app, was at the MCCAC conference last week and really enjoyed all the features I have not see with other conference apps. I liked it so much I sent it to the American Probation and Parole Association to consider looking at when our app contract is up. Pros Easy use and download. I liked that I could find who was signed up for my training and send them a welcome. My training had 2 sessions so could remind them they had to attend both. Cons Maybe a little too much push out. Lots of follow up that maybe I didnt need to be bothered with, could there be an option to opt in or out of these? Review Source EG Enrico G. I didn't physically connect with every member I interacted with on the app but the human meet-ups that came as a result of connection on Whova were high-quality and meaningful. Thats a pretty cool thing and honestly, I'm not sure that I would have known or met these quality connections had we not first established mutual interests and affinities on Whova. Good stuff! Pros The "Attendees" portion of the app, specifically the "Browse Attendees by: RECOMMENDED" feature as it identifies and groups attendees along tags such as "town of origin", "professional associations", and especially "INTERESTS", which was a wonderfully pleasant surprise as I have pretty specific interests and hobbies that I learned were shared by other attendees. This made it VERY easy to connect as a common interest and icebreaker was already established between us. Great feature! Cons I guess the feature I liked least was that some actions like "surveys" yielded a lot of participation points that would push a participant "higher" on the "active community leaderboard" (which was another fun feature), while other activities, such as liking and commenting on posts and photos (which is definitely member activation) yielded no points toward those leaderboard point totals. I think that if you want to increase activation, with regard to leaderboard point totals, you might want to give at least a small amount of points for things like commenting and liking posts. Principal Environmental Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Makes Conference Management a Breeze" August 12, 2025 5.0 Intuitive, easy to use/navigate with all of the functions one typically needs to navigate a large, national conference. No real learning curve, just download and use. Pros The app was comprehensive with many useful functions. It is easy to navigate and avoids having to carry around printed material. The ability to see the overall agenda and then to build a custom agenda that could be managed on the fly made conference management easy. There is really no learning curve as it is intuitive in its layout. Cons No real Cons, but I found limited usefulness for a few of the features, specifically the "Leaderboard" and "Polls" functions. I liked being able to share photos from the conference and see others' pictures of their experiences. I was able to network with many great individuals and take notes during many great sessions. Pros The ability to network with all attendees who attended the 10th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference 2025. I was able to take notes directly through the app and email them to myself. Cons There was no ability to check in to the event for registration of the event field trip Tours. This caused a chaotic line of hundred of participants during the Tours Days. Pros Easy to navigate and love the explanation of the events being held. Event Management was amazing and helped with event attendee management. Cons I really didn't have any bug or issues. It keeps a great virtual record of events that were attended along with all speakers/workshop titles , which makes it easy to submit for CEU's. This teacher approves! Pros I like the ease of seeing past events and specific sessions that I attended with my colleagues. The organization of information is helpful in careers like teaching, so that I avoid repeat workshops in order to broaden my experience. Once I got past the irritation of having to download and sign up for another app, it was smooth sailing. The app is easy to use, intuitive, and helps simplify connecting with fellow conference attendees. Pros It's easy to view the schedule (and a personalized schedule), connect with attendees, and share information about sessions, speakers, and gatherings. Cons I didn't want to download another app, but what are you going to do? Conference organizers say we're using this, and if you want to be part of the action, you gotta play the game. I enjoyed the agenda and favoriting the events I wanted to participate. Cons I may have missed it but I would like to be able to keep notes in the app and then have a "convention file" sent to me for later review. It helps me feel organized and able to track things easily. Pros I love the organization of the app as a whole. It is so convenient to search your specific event, create your own agenda to keep track, and to join multiple platforms of communication. Being able to network with other agencies and professionals is amazing! March 24, 2026 5.0 Excellent! It was easy and fun to connect with others who were attending the conference and it was easy to find where my favorite sessions and speakers would be. Making speakers and topics searchable on the app was a brilliant idea that greatly enhanced my ability to select the sessions I would attend! Pros The Whova badges were excellent - the print was large and an easy to read font and color, the badges facilitated the rapid sharing of contact information - which is usually a challenge at conference environments. I have recommended my organization use these badges at our own event. Cons The Whova badges allow the conference attendee to toggle through schedules and to view additional information, however it moves slower than what is optimal. That latency with the app is easily overcome by using the Whova app which is the best app I have see for summits anywhere. April 6, 2026 5.0 Used it to get agendas and room numbers, there was just a lot of information on there and ways to text other attendees was cool as well. Pros loved the presenters that put their slides on the app for us. I wish they ALL did that! It was hard trying to write down everything I wanted/needed on the slides as fast as they went, and taking a photo of them seemed to be looked down upon by the conference directors so having them on the app was GREAT! Cons Initially the set up was a bit daunting, but once I got used to it, it went really well, I think mostly it was because I added the app in the middle of a very busy day, but I was glad I had it when conference started! The setup is a bit tedious but the customer service has been great. It's also been very useful in getting conference attendees to interact with each other. Pros This is a very comprehensive conference app that can integrate into my website, create nametags, send messages etc. Cons It seems like the admin portal just kept building up over time and as a result can be difficult to navigate. Pros A great platform to manage all of my conference needs in one place - view the agenda, connect with others, etc. Cons Not really a con, but my only request would be the ability to look at a list of companies/organizations that are present at the conference, not just the attendees. I liked My Adgenda, it simplified my time at this event. I liked the conflicting notice, it allowed me to have a second choice session and then pick the one I attended. Pros Menu bar at bottom of cell phone screen for easier access. I liked the shortcut to get me to exactly what I want to acess, eg ADGENDA Cons So many notices that I still have not read them all. It helps me to navigate all the ins and outs of my conference. Speakers, session locations, and all of the little details I did not even know I needed! Pros I love being able to create my agenda, read about the sessions and speakers, locate my sessions, etc. I also love to be able to communicate and connect with other attendees as well as review the different exhibitors and their location in at the event. Not sure how long we've used it for the MSBA Conference that I've attended for about 8 years in a row. Pros It is an easy to use app. It keeps my schedule for the conference I attended in one neatly filed place. The use of taking notes for sessions and asking questions to presenters is amazing. September 23, 2025 5.0 Overall, I really found it easy to navigate and keep track of sessions and search for attendees. Much easier to use than carrying a packet of paper. Pros I've used Whova at various conferences now for several years. I really like the agenda and messaging features. Cons I think easier connectivity with email and copying notes directly to Word or text could be improved. I was able to do it, but I had to play around with it a bit to copying notes. It also helps to organize the agenda and verify interest overall from all participants. Pros I appreciate the connections that Whova supports and the ability to organize groups within events, in special the mix of meetup and groups. Cons Sometimes people may act inappropriately to reach high ranks of collaboration within the platform, also not having anything tangible to use later when you are at top 3 ranking of collaboration is a bit demotivating.
