### "Human Rights Connecting with Whova"

March 25, 2026

5.0

I cannot imagine a better way to interface with a global gathering! Thanks to generous cousins I stayed in midtown Manhattan and walked a mile to and from the United Nations every day for nine days of the UNCSW70 in March, 2026. Whova kept me attending some of the most meaningful presentations and discussions of my life!

Pros

Whova allowed me to quickly scan the many side event offerings at the 2026 United Nations Commission on the Status of Women to determine the best use of my time and focus for the nine days of the conference. Whova also provided a direct way to communicate with other attendees, more than 4,600 civil society representatives!

Cons

I would have liked an Index of the many offerings of the nine days of the UNCSW70. Sometimes I missed events I would have liked to attend!

### "Essential for Networking and Connections at Elevate Miami"

October 28, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Whova for the Elevate Conference in Miami was excellent; the app was the digital backbone for the entire event and was essential for both organization and networking. The key benefit was the Brilliant Networking capability. The attendee list and direct messaging feature made it incredibly easy to connect with valuable contacts and schedule meetings, which significantly enhanced the professional value of the conference. Additionally, the Organized Agenda and personalized reminders ensured I never missed a session at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. The simple Accessible Content feature was also a huge plus. In summary, Whova's power to maximize networking and maintain organization makes it an essential application for any large conference.

Pros

Whova proved to be the digital backbone of Elevate Miami. Its power to maximize networking and maintain organization makes it an essential app for any large conference. I definitely recommend it for future Elevate events!

Cons

Brilliant Networking: The attendee list feature and the ease of connecting directly with people were incredible. I was able to schedule meetings and establish valuable contacts I wouldn't have met otherwise. Organized Agenda: Having the personalized agenda and reminder notifications was key. It helped me keep track of the sessions I wanted to attend at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. Accessible Content

### "My Phone Experience"

March 31, 2026

4.0

I'd say it was pretty good. You'd be well served by making the messaging better known... ADD phone notifications! I kept asking people at the conference if they had gotten my message and they had not because they didn't open the app and see it. I'd like it to pop-up as a phone notification. What good is a message sent that isn't seen until way after it's relevant?

Pros

I like seeing the Event Schedule, picking my events, getting session alerts, seeing the floor plan(map), AND best of all the instant messaging conference and session attendees.

Cons

Navigation within the phone Graphical User Interface. I felt like I had to look around to find things like the floor layout a lot. What I don't like is this response interface I'm typing into right now. It has, for each box, a minimum number of characters it allows and it shows in in the form of a fraction. I was confused and shortened each of my messages to fall below 100 characters only to come back and have to add back in to make this review process work. Below each box it should state 100 Characters Minimum: (#CharCount). That makes it way easier to understand(intuative). It only explains it after you try to submit... (Minimum of 100 characters not met). Here's my experience. I saw the fraction and I didn't even proceed to read "min." I'm just used to having to fix a response to fit into a limited context, I went into auto-pilot when filling this in.

### "Whova App - Get On Board"

May 12, 2026

5.0

It is easy to use, keeps all the details like agendas, times, room locations, surveys, all in one place. I liked doing the activities to gain points and move up the leaderboard. I have used it at 2 other conferences in the past too.

Pros

It was a great way to get conference information and details. It offers an easy way to connect and network with other conference attendees, speakers, and organizers. I appreciate that the presenters can load their power point presentations and that I can easily access them and send them to my email.

Cons

I have used Whova before and really liked everything. I can't think of anything that wasn't useful.

### "A great tool for all your conference needs!"

November 4, 2025

5.0

Using the app made it much easier for me to get general information about the conference, sign up for specific sessions I wanted to attend, and complete feedback surveys. It was also a great tool for connecting and socializing allowing me to get to know other conference attendees by completing profiles and responding to fun polls. I would highly recommend this app both for its practical and logistical features as well as the ability to connect and network with your peers.

Pros

I appreciate the many interactive features of the Whova app. I attended a conference with professionals in the social services industry and the Whova app was a great venue for connecting with folks from different organizations across the country! It allows for scheduling meet ups based on shared interests, there are great getting to know you features like answering a fun icebreaker question, and you can easily navigate the logistics of an event using features like your agenda, post-session surveys, and building maps.

Cons

I wanted to use the notifications feature to be able to track any important announcements related to the conference I attended. I found the number of notifications to be overwhelming, and I wasn't able to easily find the information I was looking for. It would be nice if you could identify specific notifications you want to receive rather than seeing all updates in all areas of the app (i.e. leaderboard, photos, polls, etc).

### "Review and feedback"

May 27, 2026

5.0

Organizers of an event should rely on the platform and should not go into side communications. So, for example, while WHOVA has most of the features and capabilities, I have observed event participants sharing resources with other platforms. This means the Whova events don't provide all the necessary resources in one place. Maybe integration with potential other platforms should be considered.

Pros

Whova is very interactive, organized, and easy to use. It helps speakers put all necessary resources in one place.

Cons

I have been informed very late about using Whova for the event. I think it should be arranged as early as possible because speakers have everything they need in the same place, and it would help them prepare. Whova should be part of the preparation for an event. When creating a poll, I was forced to create one by one. I am not sure if that is how the respondents saw it, but I would prefer is I could design the poll form at once with a preview capability.

### "ICOLD2026 Support through Whovah. "

June 2, 2026

5.0

Excellent and fluid support giving adequate information that would be frequently be needed by multinational delegates during the conference proceedings.

Pros

Very simple to use and easily navigable when one wants to look for certain information. The App makes the management of the event much easier for the coordinators and also relieves the stress of trying to locate the information desks for the participants. This essentially made the entire Conference a very user-friendly environment that gave good value for money following payment of conference fees. The App essentially serves as the best member of the organising team for purposes of customer support and ensuring that the customers or conference delegates can focus on the proceedings without the usual attendant logistical challenges relating to movements around the venue.

Cons

The interface of the venue maps was not as helpful as expected. More effective mapping tied to live tracking is necessary so that it can effectively guide a person to a location and spot that they may wish to get to without looking for a physical escort to lead the way, given the usual schedules of international conferences..

### "ConnAPA 2026 Whova Review - JW"

March 31, 2026

5.0

Great interactive conference tool. I appreciated how seamlessly everything was integrated, from registration to agenda planning. The platform simplified complex event logistics, making it easier for both organizers and participants to stay informed, engaged, and on track throughout entire event experience.

Pros

What I liked most about Whova was its strong capabilities in event attendee management, meeting and session management, and overall event coordination. It made it easy to track attendees, view profiles, and facilitate meaningful connections. The session management tools were especially effective, allowing me to organize my schedule, access session details, and receive timely updates.

Cons

What I liked least about the Whova app was that certain features could feel slightly overwhelming or cluttered, especially for first-time users. Navigating between management tools, session details, and event updates sometimes required extra steps, which could interrupt the flow of the experience. I also found that notifications could become excessive, making it harder to focus on the most relevant updates.

### "Effective, focused and Efficient"

May 5, 2026

5.0

Excellent overview for a hybrid virtual and in-person conference - I really felt connected to material and other attendees, and learned a lot.

Pros

I like that the entire conference is available in one platform - webcasts, conference materials, reference materials, the networking opportunities, and found that having a click-through agenda with a "my notes" and "my agenda" section was really useful. I can tag events to watch again later, or if I was double- or sometimes triple-booked with classes I wanted to see but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts, I can get back to them instantly.

Cons

I don't think the app is near as good as the desktop or laptop web portal, and I wish the functionality were similar with both. It's good, but not great. Phones are a limiting factor for sure.

### "Whova - A Welcomed Mediator to Manage Expectation & Promote Growth Goals"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Easy to navigate, which really encouraged usage by a wider demographic. Hence the customer support and value for money was achieved.

Pros

The tool provided the opportunity to interact and share leadership insights and give encouragement to new leaders. Sharing knowledge, leadership tools and techniques to improve performance. It also allowed the planners to manage the flow of the conference and support topics that had more relevance.

Cons

Whova had the potential to keep me "too glued to my screen" since I am an individual that likes to manage and balance my work-life commitment. Some aspects encouraged competitive interactions based on usage. Which saw some persons sending messages to score points - A bit intrusive after certain hours.

### "Whova provides the map for success at ComicsPro"

February 24, 2026

5.0

Overall I was very happy as consulting with the Whova app allowed me to plan my days and have a very smooth experience at ComicsPro. I would really suggest future events use Whova to maintain a high level of organization.

Pros

I found that the Whova app allowed me to navigate an otherwise complex event with multiple locations and overlapping times for different sessions. I was able to plan an effective and rewarding experience.

Cons

At first it was a bit overwhelming but I am glad I downloaded it early and had a chance to get to know my way around.

### "Whova Review"

June 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Whova was positive. The platform made it easy to access event information, manage my schedule, and stay informed about updates throughout the event. I appreciated having session details, resources, and networking opportunities all in one place. While there were a few minor challenges with navigation and notifications, the app helped create an organized and engaging event experience

Pros

Easy-to-use interface that made navigating the event simple. Convenient access to schedules, session information, and speaker details in one place. Effective networking features that helped connect attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Real-time updates and notifications kept me informed about schedule changes and important announcements. Interactive features such as polls, Q&A sessions, and discussion boards increased engagement. Ability to personalize my agenda and bookmark sessions of interest. Centralized location for event materials, presentations, and resources.

Cons

Some features can be difficult to find, especially for first-time users. Frequent notifications can become overwhelming. Occasional technical issues, such as slow loading times or app glitches. Networking and discussion features may have limited participation depending on the event. The mobile app can sometimes feel cluttered when there is a large amount of event content. Certain functions may require a stable internet connection to work effectively.

### "Investigator"

December 2, 2025

I found it very useful. I was able to coordinate dates and times for courses I wanted to attend, set them to My Events, which made it easier for me to see my schedule for the conference.

Pros

Ability to see when and where courses were offered. I liked the message boards that folks were able to set up outings with.

Cons

Course changes in times and dates were different from security times. Worked out in the end, but had conficts with a couple courses.

### "I had a lot of fun!"

February 10, 2026

5.0

Overall it was actually fun and a great tool to know what was happening and when. What sessions I needed to be at and what sessions were available.

Pros

If launched successfully and gamified it can be a lot of fun. I've been to a lot of trade shows and conferences and the most important part is the Agenda and being able prior to the event choose your own adventure based on the sessions. The gamification for our internal team made it fun to engage and "level up" by interacting with other team members, meeting new people, and compete.

Cons

I was a user and I suppose the only thing I didn't like is I looked at "My Agenda" on night vs the entire agenda and missed breakfast because I thought a session started at 9 but it started at 8. User error but made for a bad day.

### "thank full"

it keeps you engaged with all the fun images you use for the challenges. keeping our conference at our fingertips with different classes to attend it makes it easy to be able to navigate

Pros

easy to manage has a lot of highlights of the conference. prompting you to the schedule and not letting you miss out on any of the good sessions that were provided. Keeping track of all the courses, you are attending.

Cons

at first it seem intimidating to use because it has so much information but, then you relize how eazy it is to be able to use it.

### "I love My Agenda"

May 5, 2026

4.0

Great, second conference I've used it for. I really enjoy the agenda portion and being able to add things to "My Agenda."

Pros

Seeing the agenda so I know what all sessions would be offered and then being able to add those agenda items to "My Agenda" so I could stay more focused on my day.

Cons

The map links weren't working so it made it a little harder to find the sessions rooms. Also, I think it is fun to have interaction with the app but the points part made some people post a ridiculous amount of things just to earn points. It got a little too chaotic.

Great! I enjoyed the interactive setup of this app. You have milestones to reach to earn points, which prompts you to get connected and enagaged.

Pros

Event Management, reminders, security, easy to use, and overall great to keep everything in one location.

Cons

Sometimes you would be prompted that there were new items, and there were none, such as messages, and community messages.

### "handy app with nice features for events"

June 17, 2025

5.0

very nice to have such an app for an event: the overview, all the info on the event, info on hotel and off course the chance to post some pictures :-)

Pros

the Leaderboard is very nice, especially to "concur" between colleagues, even when you don't know the person very well yet. Also the community where you can add topics as many as you like and comment on other topics.

Cons

The app didn't ask me with which agenda to synchronize, so I accepted the full agenda but didn't find this in my outlook agenda. Also the hotel info should synchronize with google maps or waze, so that you can immediately find your way to the hotel.

I like it but there is always room for improvement. Perhaps add hotel information, maps, registration for conference, one stop type shop. Also highlights of what to see and do and where NOT to go.

Pros

Everything in one place, ease of navigation, ease of use, message platform, games, competition, paperless

Cons

No information about specific breakout sessions (group, room, etc). It would be nice to have a little more specific information regarding these breakouts

### "A Seamless and Engaging Virtual Event Experience with Whova"

June 11, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Whova was very positive. The platform made it easy to stay organized, engaged, and connected throughout the event. I appreciated how intuitive the interface was—navigating the agenda, accessing session links, and reviewing speaker bios were all simple and seamless. One of the standout features for me was the networking functionality. Being able to connect with other attendees, join discussion threads, and participate in community boards added a layer of interactivity that many virtual platforms lack. It made the event feel more collaborative and less isolated.

Pros

What I liked most about Whova was its all-in-one platform that made event organization, communication, and participation seamless. As an event organizer (or participant), I appreciated how user-friendly the interface was—everything from schedules and speaker bios to announcements and networking tools was easily accessible in one place.

Cons

I would like to be able to view the full agenda while attending a webinar session. Currently, once I'm in a live session, it becomes less convenient to navigate back to the agenda without leaving or disrupting the webinar screen. Having the ability to view the session list or agenda in a side panel or as a pop-up overlay would allow participants to easily check what’s coming up next, plan their time, and switch between sessions more efficiently—all without having to exit the current session. This added flexibility would enhance the overall user experience and make the platform even more intuitive during virtual events.

### "Loved the app - easy to use and inspires participation"

September 9, 2025

5.0

My overall experience is that I had to text a friend of mine that goes to conferences regularly to tell her that I was loving the new app. Which sounds like a commercial, but in reality having a good app at a conference can make or break the experience.

Pros

I liked that it was easy to use, and all the functionality. The home page/dashboard was simple, the buttons for the different areas were clear and easy to use. The prompts that were present I think encouraged participation which is always a good thing at a conference. I also LOVED how easy it was to RSVP to sessions and to see the capacity of the sessions before walking in.

Cons

I didn't have anything that stood out as a con to using Whova. The feed with the different conversation topics and ice breakers was a little cluttered, but easier to use once you figure out what you were looking at.

I really enjoy the app. The information about my conference I was attending was informative and easy to follow. I enjoyed the map locator feature very much.

Pros

The flexibility and user friendly features. I was able to use the app features to assist me with my speaking workshops and communicating with those attending my workshops.

Cons

Unable to upload documents through the app from my phone. Many of my attendees wanted my powerpoint presentation and notes and I was unable to upload those materials efficiently.

Pros

The numerous ways to connect with others and organize networking opportunities. I thoroughly enjoyed Whova. The scheduling, customizability, and adding to Google Calendar were very helpful for me.

Cons

I was only able to add links to documents in the description of the presentation I gave. It would have been nice to have a section in the description that allowed the uploading of documents instead. Also, the Poll descriptions were too limited, and more functionality would be appreciated.

### "Whova keeps you organized and engaged during conferences."

April 15, 2026

4.0

I had an excellent experience using Whova. It's a great way to stay organized and engaged during a conference.

Pros

It's great for conference agenda management. Instead of lugging around a packet of information, it's simply on your phone. It's also very engaging. I'm not a typical "engager" but Whova sort of motivates me to engage on the platform. Not sure why,,,

Cons

I'm not sure. I overall enjoy the app without issue. I don't have any negative experiences with the app.
