I've seen tremendous changes since I started working with R4M. All changes have made the experience better one way or another. Pros I really like how Route4Me makes routing simple yet effective with its almost step-by-step process for completing a route, making it very user-friendly. I enjoy using the Routes Map feature, which allows me to click and drag stops from route to route, saving me a lot of time. This feature is particularly helpful for viewing split routes as a single one, making it easier to optimize them. I value how Route4Me helps optimize routes to their full potential, ensuring no drive time is wasted. It also effectively stores information, like pictures and notes per customer, which is useful for keeping records. The initial setup is simple and user-friendly. Fleet Coordinator Education Management Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Technical support and customer follow through terrible" April 6, 2019 2.0 Create routes to pickup our students from home and deliver them to school in the morning. Was hoping to cut route times, pickup more students at their homes, and reduce bus operating costs. Then in the afternoon take the students back home. I was never able to complete this task with the software, as it appeared some of the features of the software once enabled did not function. Mainly no U Turns allowed. the routing continued to plan and optimize a route showing the our 40 foot school buses making U turns on narrow two lane country roads, with place to turn around. It did the same U turn in our city areas as well. Where the city streets were did not have turn arounds, and could not be pulled into residential driveways. I feel the software MIGHT have been able to work for us, but the follow through of their technical department was so poor, I was unable to get their assistance during a demo of the product, to ask questions or learn the features of the product. I spent over 30 hours of my time working with the trial on my own, trying to get far enough that with their assistance I would have a working solution to my routing challenges. It seems to be a complete waste of time. Pros Looked like good value, and ease of use. Cons Technical support. Some features could not be made to work. Was promosed a demo period during my free trial, to help set up our routes, and understand the features of the software. To insure that I was able to be up and running before the end of my 7 day free trial. I was promised the demo daily, and it never happened. I actually had three appointments for the demo. The first was never confirmed. The second didn't happen until after the trial was over, and they forgot to extend the trial first, so it was delayed while the extended the trial. The third was then rescheduled, and the team never called. Not to start the demo, not to cancell or reshedule the demo again. They did not call at all. Now 2 days later, they have still not called. The only thing that worked real well, was there auto response email, and a daily auto email with ideas on why their software was helping so many companies. Review Source LV LUIS V. Cons Limited user customization, and sometimes when updates are made it affects our routing process which may require adjusting it. Using it is easy and there lots of tutorials if needed. Helps a lot with organizing my delivery's no need to think about how to do the routes the site just takes over and makes it the most efficient route. The Web support is outstanding I have never had any other web support be so fast with helping resolve an issue and making it so user friendly to figure out on how to fix it. I upload 100 some stops for 1 day give the site 6 drivers and 10hours per driver route4me takes that information and throws it out there on a map and gives me the best directions, and time it's a great site. Pros I love how easy it is to use this app, not to mention the onsite web support that gets to you very fast and helps answer any and all questions are even willing to call your drivers to walk them through any issues they may have on the mobile app. Cons the only downside I have for this is it being updated quite often. but i get it things need to get upgraded but then you have to re-learn where things are on the site but like any other software it needs to be done. There software is very versatile for multiple industries. Pros Route4Me allows for multiple parameters to be accounted for that I haven't found in other softwares including things like hours of service, weight, etc. Cons The cost has increased a lot over our subscription, and the value overall for us has decreased due to this. The sales team has not allowed as much flexibility to work with us as they have in the past. Our routing process that involves thousands of deliveries and used to take us months to organize now is handled in a matter of hours -- reducing our costs and allowing us to dedicate our limited resources to buying food and other necessities. Their support team has been outstanding - incredibly responsive even at 3 in the morning. Our requirements are different than many of their customers, but they have always been willing to make adjustments to ensure that the job gets done. Just can't say enough positive about this company, as they have been an incredible partner in helping to feed our community. Cons I really cannot identify any concerns or limitations. Functional, Intuitive, Reliable, User-Friendly, and Stellar Support Staff!!!" February 24, 2026 5.0 I have used Route4Me and have had only positive experiences. One important call-out I would make is that, I also provide support for telematics platforms that are not affiliated with R4M, but that allow integration via an API- The only instance that I have encountered where an issue was experienced with the integration of R4M it was discovered that the issue did not originate from R4M(it rested with the other party). Despite this, I partnered with Route4Me's support team to address the issue and was able to get the problem resolved rapidly for my customer. The Route4Me technical specialist was very helpful and effective in collaborating with me to uncover the quickest path to resolving the issue at hand. AWESOME work! Pros The software is intuitive and easy to use. The layout is clean and clear with a user interface that has everything that is relevant and important, but is not at all cluttered. It is very convenient that the platform can be utilized standalone via the web UI, but it is even more convenient that it has the flexibility to integrate with my existing telematics/fleet management platform. Cons Nothing to report- it does everything that was claimed prior to onboarding, it functions well, and does even more than expected in some aspects. I almost wish I could use it more often, but that would really make much work for me. I think it is quite wonderful! If it could drive for me, while doing everything else it does for me, maybe that would be an improvement, but I believe that is an option that I lack the ability to use. So perfect, just wonderful!! Pros Well I would say how much time it saves me, but I must say the most valuable part of this software is the Customer Service Reps that stand ready to help. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] have been able to almost predict when I was struggling and needed some mild assistance. Their professionalism could not be improved upon. Top notch gentlemen!! Cons Sometimes the mapping angle is a tad off. Also I wish there was a way I could circle a specific area and make a sub route from a larger route, but there is ways around that, and I have picked up so many other time saving tricks that I have afternoons off during the busiest week of my job! It's easy to use and integrates easily" October 3, 2017 5.0 We are able to communicate well as a team about routes, and there is rarely anything that slips through the cracks. Makes us efficient for sure. Our haulers get paid by the stop, so it's easy for them to switch stops around so they can make more money. Pros I like the list of routes, the cloud-based backbone, and multiple user feature. It's easy to replicate and re-name routes, and easy to integrate with Waze. Cons I love this software and above that it gets too expensive for a small company. A calendar feature that integrates with Google would be extremely helpful. The integration with Waze is perfect, however the Route4Me directions don't work at all. Because of Waze you don't need them though. I don't like that you can't do automatic routes every week, they need to be replicated and re-sent, but it's not a big deal. The pricing structure seems to place value on a handful of large clients rather than scaling up with many smaller clients; there's no way that smaller companies can afford this software over /month.
