“There are a few elements to big change that are glitchy and prevent us from using certain functions which make our processes longer - for example emails sent from big change are 50/50 whether they will deliver to the clients or not, which means we have to send them manually anyway and makes the process longer so we now dont use that function since it is the same outcome - It is tricky to navigate jobs from the schedule with ease, some of our office staff find it confusing and it is long winded to find a job that is in a group - there should be a button to view job or view group - and a button to view contact from the schedule - there is no way to bring up the contact quickly from the schedule which is also frustrating - in addition i have had future jobs cancelled by themselves before with no record whatsoever but it hasnt happened since so its likely this issue has been fixed - these are mostly minor issues and doesnt affect how we view big change as the positives weigh out the negatives massively - but hopefully this is good feedback on some of the functions.“

### "Big Change - our vital office tool "

Big change was set up for our business prior to me joining and it was never developed fully. I now have a better understanding of big change and with the help of the university, representative and big change staff i have met on the way, I am really moving forward the system. Big change really does listen to all of their customer and if you find anything you need, feed it back to them and they get their development teams to work on it. Feedback to them is so important as they are constantly develop the system. When I started the office was full of sticky notes with staff reminders & messages, we had several different systems, a lot of tasks were done manually i.e. engineers job sheets. Now we just have one system that everything is done on and the system does most of the work for us from reminding to producing professional documents

Pros

Big change is used in our business within every department, starting from an initial enquiry right to through to after care service. Our quotes are produced and emailed to customers to be doc e signed which saves so much time to produce and convert. Our projects team use it to manage installs and again with the data they input anyone can access the data and know the stage each project is at. Our Service team use it send out jobs to our engineers which gives them a detailed report about each job and from this we know if any quote is required or invoicing. Also our contracts are so easy to manage, Our accounts team use for to create invoices, chase payment and stock control. Management can easily pull of data to evaluate all areas of the business to make improvements or spot any concerns. We love how the platform can so easily be adapted to suit how you wish to use the system to suit your business. Will all the automations does the work for us and no longer do we need sticky note reminders everywhere. It is very difficult to find something you would require in your business that the system wont do they have thought of everything. The customer care is excellent.

Cons

I would like the university to improve a little. Sometimes I do a module but then have to do more research to get more information. The questions at the end could be more and maybe introduce samples to do to check you fully understand. . At times the road crew can contradict information.

Click was very dated and difficult to use. Manually producing job sheets was difficult to read writing and used lots of paper. Many spreadsheets were used to monitor progress of various tasks It was difficult to communicate with the team.

You are expected to do all of the onboarding with little or no support. My team are unimpressed with my decision to use Big Change and we have reverted back to our original CRM system Podio by Citrex a far superior product.

Pros

Sales reps are likeable and extremely helpful. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] in customer services is a good guy but he must follow through on what he saw and understood when we asked him to come and visit us to see the issues we were having.

Cons

The product is only fit for a one trade business- the sales reps will say yes to all your questions without ensuring their answers to be true Our IT engineer worked on the installation and onboarding full time and was not given the promised support from Big Change We lost three members of our team, who jointly made a major mistake due to failure of linking separate trades within our organisation. You will be charged for everything and there are extras on every turn you take.

Due to a very ordinary sales technique called a "yes ladder" In my line of work I offer honesty and integrity- this is a unique offering as you rarely see it these day.....

Pros

Ability to see jobs in real time. Allows complete visibility throughout the whole business. We use the knowledge base for how too's and all of our policies to make sure that people use the correct ones. Being involved with the BC team when things don't quite work how you would like and they are alway willing to listen and take on board my suggestions and ideas.THe basic setting up was relativley easy and the worksheets are a great idea!

Cons

The financial side of BC reporting isn't really up to scratch at the moment and we have had to find work arounds.

Overall i feel Big Change is more than suitable for the Fire & Security industry, and includes all the features necessary to running the administrations, jobs, employees and customers.

Pros

Since fully implementing Big Change, we have found the system generally easy to use, and popular with the field engineers. My favorite features of the system is the Job Management/Scheduling, the Tracking feature and how that links in with the scheduling diary.

Cons

A lot of work has to go into setting the system up and importing information, but i guess this goes for any CRM. I'm not keen on the Stock & Equipment setup and feel this could be improved.

### "2 years+ BigChange use"

BigChange has been a good, straightforward system for job management (after initial set up). It's easy to create quotes, contracts, jobs, and purchase orders, and to schedule to engineers. The customisable aspect of the system was good to be able to adapt to our processes and develop personalised report templates. After a promising start with lots of new releases and development, and good customer service, the service levels and developments have dropped off, and we have given up on many of the hoped-for additions.

Pros

BigChange is easy to use on a day-to-day basis - creating quotes, jobs and contracts and purchase orders is easy, after the initial set up. Scheduling is straightforward.I liked the suggestions portal and the feeling that improvements were being made based on our requirements (it's a shame that this no longer exists).

Cons

We have always wanted an asset management system, but have never found a solution that would work with our custom job reports, and record trends. We looked into integration with laboratories, but costs were prohibitive. Things like being able to see calendars on devices, easier stock and timesheet management, having sites and jobs linked to account managers in an effective way, are all things we have never managed to sort out. Having additional costs for developments which would be helpful for all customers has deterred us. Many issues going to Roadcrew have never been completed, and service levels have dropped off in the last year.

Brilliant, don't have many issues, if we do they're sorted or we are shown how to sort them. Downtime is minimal.

Pros

User friendly and customizable to fit our operation and we can always find a way to do something using the system, you just have to be a creative problem solver!

Cons

mobile app for the admin side could do with being developed, or a more mobile friendly version for quick changes on the move.

### "BigChange has transformed our business"

Our experience with BigChange from the initial meeting at the NEC show in Birmingham in 2022 to the onboarding process and Roadcrew support that is always at hand, has been second to none. Having used another software system previously that offered no support whatsoever, it has been a breath of fresh air having a team on hand to always answer any queries. The ideas portal to make suggestions for improvements has been great and the continued contact with product development has been very reassuring that this software will be something our company will continue to use for many years to come.

Pros

The system encompasses many areas that we required all into one system - CRM, vehicle tracking, job/scheduler management, fieldworker app and financial are the main ones for us. Its easy integration with other apps has been such a useful tool, such as Xero, Outlook and Google Maps.

Cons

Some features with the invoicing and financial side could be improved although I know this is something that BigChange are working towards. There are also some features within the JobWatch app that our fieldworkers could benefit from being improved, these are small functionality areas.

### "Excellent customer service and support, but some technical limitations around integration"

The people side is great, everyone is helpful and knowledgeable, there are some annoyances on a technical level around integration and reporting - escalated tickets take too long to resolve.

Pros

The onboarding and customer service is great. First line support are excellent and it's refreshing to find a company that you call and easily get through to a real person that can resolve problems. The availability of the APIs is generally better than the alternatives.

Cons

The reports are not good and not well thought out when compared to competitors, exporting is difficult or not available for some reports and there are no options for the automation of report exports for integration.

Reason for choosing BigChange

Primarily the flexibility of the solution, the onboarding process and the availability of APIs to allow us to integrate their tracking to our ERP.

That all the things we need are on the same software and they all work together. We previously used 4 pieces of software to do all we do on BigChange, and it's made our processes so much slicker and more professional! Our resources have found the app so much easier than previous software's we've used.

Cons

Stock & Equipment is not easy to use at all. I have tried to work round with what we can but I can't find a way this will work for us

### "A Big Change enabling us to streamline our Operations"

Overall, Big Change has been the transformation our company was needing. We've combined multiple systems and business processes all into one place, and it's leading to everyone working together in a more integrated manner.

Pros

The biggest selling point for Big Change was the flexibility and modularity of being able to create our own Worksheets for what is a very unique business, with ePod requirements that aren't accommodated for in the majority of ePod systems.

Cons

There's a lack of Data analysis available. The information is in there, but there's not enough ways of pulling it out currently.

Flexibility, customisation, and a great salesman. Almost too good a salesman.

### "Big Change Journey Watch"

Excellent and wouldn't hesitate to renew our contract

Pros

This software is perfect for our requirements for general day to day fleet management. We don't use it to the full capacity that it provides at the moment. So many options and features that can eliminate the cost of paper transfer and administration.

Cons

Fortunately I have no issues with the software. The only criticism I could mention is the input of customer POI's as we have customers that overlap on the system and have had to polygon the boudaries

Reason for choosing BigChange

So much easier to use and track your mobile workforce - one click and you are aware of your personnel with GPS location and daily movements. Previous history is also a click away.

Pros

The team at BigChange have understood the needs of their customers. They listen to feedback and suggestions from their users which has helped them to develop a very comprehensive and flexible system. What makes them stand apart is the constant strive to improve the software. They consistently release regular updates and upgrades and will listen to new suggestions through their ideas portal. JobWatch is intelligent, featured packed and intuitive. It is also very easy to use once you have spent a little time exploring all the features of the software. JobWatch is also very customizable to your business type and processes.The customer support team 'RoadCrew' is second to none. I would go as far to say they have the best customer support of any business I have worked with.We have accelerated our business since we choose JobWatch and haven’t looked back since. I have no hesitation in recommending this software.

Cons

It can be tricky to onboard all your data at the beginning but with perseverance and a willingness to adjust the way you 'used to work' to fit in with the software, you really won't be disappointed.

Reason for choosing BigChange

The product was either more intuitive / compressive or flexible than the alternatives I looked at. Basically it was the best all rounder.

We were looking to move away from paper based scheduling and reporting to give a more professional appearance to back the good work we already offer our clients. Big Change offers a great range of features in the platform, a lot of sections can be tailored to fit in with what we were looking to get out of the platform.Our onboarding manager has been excellent, very knowledgeable and has been a massive help in getting us up and running. Also the customer service team is great very responsive and helpful.

Pros

Really good features to enable us to move away from paper based scheduling and reporting. Also the Vehicle tracking and reporting capability is a real plus.

Cons

Out of the box has excellent range of features, Did find navigating to certain parts of the planform difficult but this is down to being a new system and will improve as we get used to it, the onboarding manager has been great and has been able to explain and demonstrate ways of getting the results we are after.

Cons

The fact that I can't filter by supplier when looking at purchase orders raised to a particular contact on the CRM. To be able to filter by supplier or search key words would be helpful sometimes, especially on larger projects where multiple PO's are raised on the same contact.

On boarding was fantastic, being able to use the system to achieve what we want is a really good feature. Down side for myself, we as a business don't utilize it in other departments such as accounts. Doing this would stream line the whole process as Big Change can certainly do it

Pros

NOTES!!!! being a transport manager being bale to have files on the fleet, with real time actions, keeping all documents together showing a stream from report to completion of faults and issues which keeps us compliant

Cons

One small change in a job type for example and you have to go back and change everything related to this, worksheets, alerts, ....

### "Great for large businesses"

It's great for what we use it for (large business - engineer/job management) but I could see there being issues with smaller companies due to costings etc.

Pros

Feature rich product with heavy customisation available which can make the product truly unique to each company.

Cons

it often grinds to a halt/slows down in the evenings which is when I use it the most.

### "I’m a convert!"

I moved to Home Services who were already using BigChange and I have been on a journey! I find the live elements and customer history really useful, along with tracking, costing etc and I know we would use it more! I struggle sometimes with the reporting element but the RoadCrew are super helpful and supportive regardless of how silly my question is! I have to say I’m a complete convert now!

Pros

It is really easy to interrogate and interact with

Cons

Not easy to work out how to use reporting etc, without using the university. Sometimes counterintuitive compared to other planning applications. Would be helpful to be able to easily build and interrogate reporting. Sometimes not able to report on certain things eg worksheets

Being a big change user for 5 years now its been an incredible tool to help us maximise profits and improve efficiency.

Pros

\- Intuitive UI- Great Support- Live Tracking- Customisation

Cons

\- If you have multiple systems you cannot use them both with the same e-mail easily.

Big Change had the most friendly UI with the offering of ease of setup a project manager to get you up and running and a brilliant hand holding journey until you were ready to take the first step.

There is such a vast array of help within this software to help you run the business.

Cons

Only the fact there is so much and I do not have time to learn all the features, those using it on a daily basis with our organisation however are able to point me to wherever I need to go.

### "Big Change - Operational Dream "

We can see at a glance the progress of all jobs and the location of engineers should emergency jobs come in so we can see is the closest available team

Pros

The system is fantastic for scheduling work, tracking the whereabouts of the vehicle so that clients can be updated.

Cons

I would like the calendar to be more accessible to add rotas etc more easily but this could just be something that I haven't managed to access properly yet.

Reason for choosing BigChange

Big Change gave us more of what we needed to schedule, monitor and run work and we are still finding new aspects we can use

### "We couldn't manage without it"

Great customer service, every interaction has been friendly and helpful. The team do periodic reviews and check ins.Most to the time the system is user friendly and it's really improved our business, processes, our customer service and we couldn't manage without it now.

Pros

We have full visibility of jobs it enables us to complete a whole transaction for a customer end to end process and enables to see what stage we are at for the job.Engineers have full details of their jobs, it reduces admin time, the financial reports are great. The more we explore the system and it's capabilities the more it enhances our processes.

Cons

Templates can be timely to create and sometimes problematic - the font often changes and formatting can be a pain.

It provides the best solution for our field engineers to access the relevant areas of the platform and we can track and schedule our resources, fleet, customers and finance.

we would like a way to be able to track where we are with servicing, provide alerts when jobs are due and ask BG to look at how this can be done. We know through Road Crew that this isn't yet a feature/
