It truly goes a long way. Pros Very user friendly which makes creating books seamless and easy, secure sharing and everything is available in 1 platform for all board members. Easy to communicate to them through the platform. Pros Uploading of documents is easy; dashboard is a nice feature. Cons Does not have the capabilities that were confirmed in pre-contract discussions/demos; unable to edit or rename documents directly in Diligent Boards portal; admin module is not user friendly. Some of the navigating especially on a computer is a bit clunky. Easier to navigate on an ipad. A huge improvement would be a feature that allows someone to know what has been added each time there is a new sync. Pros Nice to have all Board materials in one place. One feature that I have been suggesting is automatic accessing pages. In other words, a leader could be looking at a page and all other attendees would see the same page automatically. Pros Organization , ease of access.Previously we used printed board books so this is a vast improvement. Cons Page numbers are not tied to headers so jumping from section to another is challenging. Pros The app is easy to navigate and files can be accessed when offline Cons I have a Samsung tablet and the app doesn't work because of a software bug. It was a easy learning curve for our Board and an effective method of secure communication. Was a wise governance decision. Pros Allows our Board to vote and sign documents outside of an in-person meeting. Utilize the reference center to keep key reference material available to our Board members. Utilize Questionnaires section for various Board reporting items such a expense reports and Conflict of Interest Disclosures.
