Pros I use is for preparing and disseminating the Board Books, structuring the agenda and aggregating all the documentation pertinent to a meeting into a single location. As part of my new regular routine, I upload documents and update the board books close to the time of the meeting so that directors can find the information they need both prior to and during each meeting. Cons Although certain aspects of the interface are somewhat antiquated and some of the features such as Search etc, take a bit of time to get used to. And there is an occasional lag during peak times of the day when I’m trying to push through rapid fire updates. At least I am not worried about the data leaking during those times we discuss confidential topics, because the security is very secure. Pros The AI for taking minutes is actually working, which is odd because most software like this doesn’t do much of anything. I like being able to take a whole agenda from last months’ meeting and simply change the date. I’ve been worried my iPhone would crash during a vote, so far, no problem. When I need help, I’ve had good luck getting someone to answer the phone at support. Cons Getting this to communicate with all of our other applications is a nightmare. It’s frustrating that the auto-numbering feature still does not work for agendas. I also hate dealing with the board member who won’t enable two factor authentication (2FA), it creates so much hassle in trying to resolve their issues. Review Source RN Rafael N. Cons During the implementation phase, some members of the board were already had their e-mails registered in the platform. So, to link the same e-mail in different organisations, Diligent required the user approval and that the user informed the organisations which he/she had the e-mail registered. As this information is pointless for the person that is implementing the platform (me) and for confidentiality matters this same person should never had the information, I understand Diligent should check this information by itself or exclude this requirement, keeping only the user's formal approval for linking the e-mails. However I do feel they need to seriously compare their offering to others now available on the market to make sure they don't fall behind. Pros A few years ago, Diligent was certainly the preferred provider. Although since the move of all historic Diligent-owned platforms (Board Effect etc) it feels as though there hasn't been a lot of investment in developing the platform to make sure it keeps up with peers. Cons Compared to other current platforms, it's quite clunky, especially building packs and navigating through them in meetings. The pricing structure also doesn't work for a number of our clients who are now looking to other platforms who provide different fee formats. I have worked with corporate boards for over 25 years and this is by far the most "intelligent" platform I have ever used. Being able to construct a board book, make changes, control the access of not only the book but of individual documents and having multiple platforms to view materials (web, mobile, etc.) make Diligent a hands-down choice for me. Pros Easily customizable to accommodate individual boards User-friendly, even for those with limited technical skills Signature voting for \[sensitive content hidden\] to approve consents/resolutions and other documents Cons Replacing a document with annotations is a challenge - the system is designed to maintain the integrity of the document and keep the notes on each designation page. It would be helpful if there was a way for \[sensitive content hidden\] to make notes within a document and the notes would transfer as a "notes page" to accompany the document and allow for replacements or updates without losing the notes. I would prefer to set up a meeting and on that window having the options to select a specific committee instead of jumping from one committee to the other when setting up meetings. One feature that I have been suggesting is automatic accessing pages. In other words, a leader could be looking at a page and all other attendees would see the same page automatically. Pros Organization , ease of access.Previously we used printed board books so this is a vast improvement. Cons Page numbers are not tied to headers so jumping from section to another is challenging.
