Cons \- Customer service can lag significantly and needs improvement; a dedicated account manager would be ideal. - Does not currently have the ability to drill down by specific countries or DMA's - Needs a more sophisticated Boolean logic for specific searches. - Results can vary widely across different tools; I'd like to see results better align with what we see in other tools. There are a lot of options for customization, which means reporting becomes much easier. Cons The analytics options need to be expanded - there are a lot of numbers floating around within the platform that seem to be generated out of nowhere. But the main way we benefit from the tool is finding sales opportunities in social media. Basically we monitor social networks for phrases that are used by people that might need our service. Brand24 team also very helpful in guiding you to optimise your tool usage to get a better understanding or data you needed. Cons I think instead of giving the free trial access that limits people on using it frequently, maybe they can give us the free plan instead. October 23, 2017 3.0 Good for keeping a pulse on the conversation. Pros Easy to use, UI was well thought out. Set up is quick, in fact, you can be up and running in under five minutes. Cons Lacks many basic features like excluding URLs, or following companies whose names contain common words. For example, our company name is Element5, but getting B24 to ignore companies with element in their names was near impossible. I've used larger tools like BrandWatch and Sysomos for the US Navy where we were up against Old Navy and the color navy and those tools had no trouble narrowing the query. Cons The monthly fee is a little bit high for my budget and the searches need to be very specific to get a reasonable number of results. Otherwise you will get thousands of results to comb through.
