Pros

its quit easy to use and as well as it has more filters to filter the resume.

Cons

even though it has more filters and easy to use we are not getting more IT candidates in CB

We are able to keep track of applicants and have a pool by going back to older offers

Pros

I use it everyday and It’s easy to use once you figure out the different functions! You can see all the resumes and the time the person applied and you can put the resume in different folders

Cons

Maybe more clarity when publishing an offer, but honestly it’s very easy to work with! And the more you use it the more you get better

Just as simple as the competition, which is good! Easy apply makes the process quick and easy.

Pros

Super-easy to get your profile set up and linked with sites like LinkedIn and others. Daily emails with openings makes job hunting a breeze.

Cons

Like any platform, the professional help comes at quite the cost. I know it’s not a charity, but too expensive for people without a job!

Use it for finding the fit candidate for recruitment purpose, I prefer it for non It requirements specially when the client need someone with low experience level

Pros

Easily sort the candidates depending upon the year of experience and other similar filter tools.

Cons

Data pool is low, only the candidates who upload there resume are available. Also there is no authencity about the data available.

Pros

The thing I like most about applicant tracking is the notifications. I like being notified every time someone applies for the job that I posted instead of having to stay close to my computer and monitor the site.

Cons

There aren't too many applicants that use careerbuilder so I guess I would say that the applicant pool isn't broad enough.

I am not an overall fan of their IT resumes. Maybe it is better with non IT roles?

Pros

ease of posting job reks, decent database of IT resumes, and can integrate with our JobDiva ATS tool

Cons

We just get so many junk resumes of people that dont match our IT jobs at all. My email gets filled with irrelevant resumes. Example: I would have an IT rek of a .NET developer and I Get housecleaners and taxi drivers that submit resumes.

### "Keep track of your applicant in an easy way"

Pros

We used CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking to send the backgrounds emails, keep track of the new starts, hire dates, the different campaigns that the employees work. You can send the emails from their own platform what makes it easy.

Cons

Sometimes you have to fill some information that is mandatory and it doesn't​ show it as mandatory, so you have to return to fill it.

Careerbuilder has been around for along time, so it offers one of the most vast databases out there.

Cons

It is clunky and less streamlined that its competitors that have become more popular over the years. A lot of the resumes found on Careerbuilder can be found on other ATS systems.

CareerBuilder is my go-to job board! It holds an acceptable number of candidates if you're running out of options.

Cons

It can be a challenging sometimes if you're assigned to recruit for an executive level position. Probably it's a matter of using the appropriate search string.

Really great options and build ones to find the right high level candidate.

Pros

I love some of the tools to help thin down applicants especially on the higher up positions. Give great options that help to narrow down candidates and speed up finding the right one.

Cons

It is almost too cumbersome. Easier to use a software with less options and does not take so long to set up each open positions that is entry level. When you get over 100 applicants off Indeed for free in just 24 hours it is a waste of time to use this for entry level positions.

What i like most about CareerBuilder is that I'll get all kind of Resume's except IT (Information Technologies).

What i least like in CareerBuilder is, Hard to Find IT (Information Technologies) Resume's.

It's given me the ability to weed out unqualified candidates quickly. I enjoy that it is a pretty straight forward program and easy to use.

Pros

The platform is extremely simple to use. There are lots of tips and help is readily available when needed.

Cons

Wish the programs purchased rolled over but other than that I can't think of anything in need of improvement in the capacity I use it.

I like that you can search for candidates by their employment status (ie: green card, U.S. citizen, EAD, etc.)

Cons

I don't like that you can't specify what type of Bachelors/Associates degree you are looking for. (ie: business administration or accounting)

### "Good product that took a nose dive"

10 years ago, this was an awesome product. Primary source for advertising jogs and finding candidates. This used to be a go to place for professional candidates. That is all gone. Can not find professional candidates now. Search engine does not work properly.

Pros

Name recognition. Well know in multiple industries for decades.

Cons

Usability took a nose dive over the past several years. Platform just doesn't work any more.

It’s a good application tracking platform, but the interface tends to get finicky on the desktop version. Lots of free features and great for team of recruiters

Sometimes the software bugs affect the applicant tracking system itself.

I've had a great experience with CareerBuilder and would recommend it.

Pros

It was an easy platform to post ads, have them apply, view their resumes, and help onboard them. It's also easy to order a background check. CareerBuilder allows you to send automated emails to the candidates you like and want to bring in for an interview. The dashboard is user-friendly and easy to maneuver around.

Cons

There wasn't much I didn't like about this software, but I would have to say the number of emails that they send.

Pros

Best thing about CareerBuilder is the ability for them to integrate with many different applicant tracking systems. Being able to have a file feed from your applicant tracking system in order to automatically send the posting over to CareerBuilder is a great benefit. They have been around for a while and there is great value in having your postings on their site to assist in bringing in great talent to your organization.

Cons

The filtering options could be improved upon, as sometimes they don't produce the results intended. Other than that, it's a great tool in Recruiting.

I used this software to screen for internship applications and it made my life so so easy!! Absolutely love this and would recommend this to every recruiter!!

Pros

I have used Carrier Builder Applicant Tracking when I helped recruit interns at WSU. It is simply an amazing software, where everything is streamlined and perfectly organized. It made my life so much easier!!

Cons

Although it was so so easy to use, the software was very expensive. My boss wan't too happy with that though (but I told her all the good things that come with it!!).
