### "Candidate Database on Career Builder."

Pros

There are a lot of candidates in Career Builder. you can use their service with minimal training. If you are looking for a portal with H1B, GC, E4EAD, F1, or non-US Citizens, Then this portal is one of the best out there.

Cons

The Candidates are mostly Non-Cleared and not Citizens of the United States. Candidates applying on this portal are irrelevant to the positions they are applying for.Whenever you post a requisition, You've to post it in two different tabs with limited word characters per tab.

I think the CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking tools is great on many levels. When I first started using it, the industry was different, now I find myself using for certain post.

Pros

I discover CareerBuilder to be simple, solid, and give sufficient data, that doesn't cause you to feel like you have burned through your time, subsequently adding to your as of now stress.

Cons

Evidently, anybody can see my resume and data however I have no security. Surely checks that the applicant is qualified. Profession Builder doesn't.

Pros

What I like the most about CareeeBuilder is that it's very straightforward. As a recruiter, there are a lot of things that I need to consider when searching for candidates and its features are very helpful in getting the right leads.

Cons

There were some days when we were not able to access CB but this was handled flawlessly by their customer support team.

This search engine has helped me search most of my resumes over the years. It has also given me ease to contact resumes that I find fit for the job. I also like the filters which help narrow down the resumes i eventually see. I mostly always recommend CareerBuilder to my connects.

Pros

The Career Builder website was very easy to navigate, and search for jobs in my area, and had more choices available in a reasonable distance from my home. I also, like the friendly but simple layout of the website. An improvement would perhaps be adding an extensive add-on that helped out with both cover letters and resumes and make it so it is easy to make cover letters specific to certain jobs.Overall it is not entirely different from other sites but it's always wonderful.

Cons

the least i like about the website is that you cannot quick view the resume to be sure enough to open it since it is all about the views. Also the filter for years of experience can sometimes give you not so relevant results. It would be nice to have more precise results.

Pros

Creating strings can be a bit tricky at first but this feature comes in really handy once you're habitual to strings. It makes it really easy for us to find suitable candidates with relevant experience.

Cons

The resumes showcased are usually outdated and the candidates are no longer interested in any position. The database should be updates daily or at least weekly. The candidates should be aware of their resumes being put up to be reached out by recruiters because we often get irritated candidates desperately wanting to get their names "off the list".

CareerBuilder is definitely making it easier and more efficient for me to source, screen and track candidates. I feel good about working with such a well-established brand!

Pros

So far I am very impressed with the robust sourcing and tracking options in CareerBuilder. I'm able to review resumes easily and send mass mailings to multiple candidates, which saves me a lot of time!

Cons

The biggest frustration I have encountered is a lack of formal training on how to maximize the effectiveness of the service, but this may be an issue internal to my company rather than a CareerBuilder issue. The second issue I've had that does not seem to have a fix is the inability to sort candidates by the last date their online profile was updated. I am seeing candidates whose information was current as of 2006, and this is preventing me from quickly finding candidates who have just posted their resumes and are looking urgently for work.

Pros

I found that it provides a strong source for a pipeline of candidates. From postings we are able to track and organize candidates to specific jobs and everyone in our company has real time status of recruiting. We have made a lot of hires from the site and plan to continue using it in the futurel. What do you dislike?

Cons

Too many unqualified people for higher level/ more technical jobs Not great for the IT positions. I find that I spend a lot of time reviewing underqualified resumes to find the matches. Customer service is ok, very hands off, which has it's pros and cons. They do not offer a lot of assistance unless you ask for it.

All in all it was a great experience and still can do better as there is always scope of growing.

Pros

Very easy ,simple and also it saves a lot of time, CB is really doing well and giving a great competition to its competitors, no doubt its the best currently.

Cons

Just a couple of things that all the software's have a issue with that is the lagging problem and at times after update a bit difficult to understand it.

Overall, CareerBuilder is a great tool for recruiters especially for finding pool of candidates for your requisitions.

Pros

I've been using CareerBuilder since I started my recruiting career and it helped me get a lot of pool candidates on the requisitions that I'm working on. I love its feature where you can filter your search for specific types of candidates that you're looking for.

Cons

What I don't like about the CareerBuilder feature is the filter for the location where you specifically put a 25-mile radius but still will give you certain candidates that are within 30-35 mile radius which makes me get some candidates who are not interested because of the location.

Career Builder is a good search engine and research tool for employers/recruiters that have to supply towards the every increasing demand of the business market. It also helps me reach alot of candidates that do not apply through other sources that we currently use. Greatly Recommended despite a few cons.

Pros

I have been using this portal to screen candidates and the best feature to use here is you can refine your search based on the number of years for the skill you are looking for or the industry that you need them to come from. They also have a huge data base that in turn gives you a huge lot of qualified candidates to pick from. You also receive a decent number of responses from candidates since the notification feature helps you keep track of all the activity on this portal.

Cons

There are not too many but i do come across the part where I run out of the number of Job postings on the portal and then have to buy more postings. They also have a daily limit on the number of resumes you can view in a day. Also another con but i know that this will only get better depending on the plan you choose to buy. The portal does not allow you to bulk send resume to review later. You will have to flip them one by one which is just time consuming.

Overall, it's a great system to use. It's fairly easy to deploy and maintain. I'd recommend it again for sure.

Pros

I've really enjoyed using CareerBuilder not only for a job board but for an ATS system. I liked the UI and layout while browsing through tons of great candidates.

Cons

I encountered a lot of vendors putting in candidate resumes with incorrect information and partial contact information. It makes contacting candidates challenging but I think they are doing a better job of filtering for this now.

Reason for choosing CareerBuilder

I liked the pricing and options they had when I was looking initially.

It performed decently -- we published a job ad and received applications. We subsequently followed up and CareerBuilder helped us manage the process virtually.

Pros

The UI is similar to other career websites like Indeed or Monster.com. Different types of people visit different sites and you can get your job ad out in front of a different type of audience than Indeed.

Cons

It shares the same issues as other similar platforms whereas most of the applicants aren't seriously interested in your job -- they're just applying to apply. As long as you don't believe the platform will be a recruitment silver bullet, you'll do fine.

My overall experience with CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking is that it has a ton of qualified candidates to filter through and it helps with my job overall tremendously.

Pros

What I like most about CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking Review is the ease of the software. As a recruiter, I use this software every single day to find candidates for my clients and it is a very easy software to use.

Cons

What I like least about this software is the preview section. I would like it to be easier for me to preview a resume and be able to toggle back to the resumes/candidates easier.

Great experience! The search capability is really strong! Definitely one of the top five candidate searching portals.

Pros

After working for a busienss process outsourcing company whose main client was CareerBuilder we used the CareerBuilder portal to search and track applicants for 2 main industries: health and engineering. It worked superbly! The strongest and most important feature it has is the search capabilities, you can get pretty granular, especially with location allowing to search by mile radius within specific areas.

Cons

It does have quite a few bells and whistles, so expect at least a slight learning curve. If you're absolutely new to this portal, you will have to spend a fair amount of time in order to completely adopt it into your workflow. Once you get a hang of all of its buttons and features, it's smooth sailing from there.
