I wish I could import CSV files to logbooks Pros The user interface is very friendly and AQEM was a game changer for our quality events. It didn’t take me super long to learn my way around after being in it every day. Cons Wish I could customize the home screen tiles. AQEM is still being built out and can be a little buggy. Getting prompts for what needs to come next in a process would be a tremendous help. Pros The ability to automate training is a huge timesaver. The ability to now copy job codes will also help save time. Cons Complexity and time consuming to build new vaults and infocard types. It’s a decent tool once you learn it, but it is not easy to learn and has limitations that prevent it from being a great tool. Pros It’s a one stop shop for SOPs, DOPs, training and QMS records (CAPA, NC, SCAR, etc). I also like that prior revisions of documents are easily accessible. Cons I work in CAPA and NC and both are extremely difficult to prepare for an audit, from the PDF printouts to the inability to download multiple attachments at once. Some of the workflows are less intuitive starting out but once you get the hang of everything it’s smooth sailing! Pros I like how integrated the quality system is and how easy it is to combine training and documents! The Insights reports are so helpful for viewing AQEM trends! Cons Looking up documents, there’s not an easy way to immediately identify the effective version that should be read. It see it growing throughout the years as the platform becomes more stable. Pros Great value with great potential in the future. We appreciate the ability to move between each platform and control user access for 1 platform rather than multiple. Cons The adapt platform has code updates quite often which seems to impact our systems with the introduction of bugs and defects on a regular basis. The frequency of the defects in AQEM specifically question the validity of the sys validation. They are responsive and genuinely committed to improving the user experience. They constantly take feedback back to the MasterControl teams that can fix the issue immediately or add it into the queue for a future update. And they close the feedback loop with quarterly reports on the new system updates. Pros The AQEM module has a simple and customizable workflow system with plenty of helpful features that enhance usability for end users. And you don’t have to be a software engineer to use the system or customize the workflows. AQEM does a great job simplifying data inputs for quality events, like CAPA or nonconformance, making it easier to manage and take actions on trends. Cons While the overall system meets our needs, there are a few minor frustrations that impact efficiency. Implementation was very easy and we felt very supported by the team that worked with us before during and after. Pros Implementation went smoothly and was well supported. One of the best things was the ease of building it to meet our current processes and workflows while also allowing us to see different options that might work better for us. I am especially interested in our paper records in my work and master control helps keep them in one place. Cons It can be slow at times, which isn't ideal for my use case. It was a long process with feeling it may not work, but its so easy to you and its not hard to train your end users. It's nice that I still learn small things along the way and can even do more with working with my team to build new ideas. I really like this program and how more efficient my team works with less errors. Pros This program makes document control so much easier for my company. The way you can search and collaborate with people in the company is much easier along with the tracking of all revisions is so helpful. Cons That you do have to wait for people sometimes to move a task along depending on how you have it built. I also wish there was a date of when the InfoCard was approved on the main screen instead of having to go into the InfoCard itself or looking at the highest REV of the document. I like ver much that we can build the forms from scratch without coding knowledge. It’s easy to use even for someone without experience. Cons AQEM still is very limited in functionality and features, which is almost impossible to build the forms/workflows that work for my company. We are ending up with too many compromises and the system that requires a lot of manual work, which is opposite of our intention.
