“Otherwise, I had to arbitrarily offer them only part of the list of possible times, so as not to overlap, and then they wouldn't find what they needed. If I offered students a window (anytime between 4 and 8), they would choose awkward times (such as 5:30) that meant I could fit fewer total sessions in. If students forgot to come to sessions, I had no proof that they had scheduled, which meant I couldn't hold them accountable.“

I like Calendly for its features, simplicity and innovative nature. I wonder why no one thought about it before.

Pros

It is free and quiet innovative. They are the pioneer in this space. Simple to use and does reduce the overhead of back and froth of scheduling meetings especially with strangers and prospects.

Cons

Rescheduling and level of control is not similar to say Outlook. It does not show the exact contact information of the prime user.

I've been using Calendly consistently for awhile now. In my sales development role, I frequently use Calendly to schedule discovery calls, partner meetings, product discussions, and follow-up conversations with prospects across multiple time zones. The platform removes much of the friction from the scheduling process and creates a more professional experience for both internal teams and external contacts. The automatic calendar synchronization, reminders, and booking workflows help reduce no-shows and save valuable time. For anyone who regularly schedules meetings, Calendly provides a simple, reliable, and highly effective solution.

Pros

What I liked most about Calendly is how easy it is to schedule meetings. Instead of going back and forth through email trying to find a mutually available time, I can simply share my scheduling link and allow prospects, customers, or business partners to book directly into my calendar. The integration with calendars such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar helps prevent double bookings and ensures availability is always up to date. As someone working in sales and business development, Calendly has significantly reduced administrative work and made scheduling discovery calls, partner meetings, and follow-up conversations much more efficient.

Cons

I wish there was a way to customize the booking/scheduling page a little bit better. So this way it could keep the meetings scheduled by the prospect as relevant as possible.

It stops me from having to chase down a student or client via email for 3-4 days to find 10 minutes to discuss anything. All of the information regarding meetings etc, gets placed into my CRM automatically, no additional steps required. It prevents me from being double booked while I am away from the office. The workshops are kept organized even though the mobile version of the software has some weird design choices.

Pros

The Google Calendar syncing finally works. It sends out the Zoom meeting links and they mostly work (which is a miracle). I am just glad that I do not have to hand enter every invitation anymore.

Cons

I do not like that it does not allow easy management of multiple separate business accounts under one account profile without going crazy. It is far better than that last piece of software I used which caused me to merge two different clients together by accident because both client names were the same. This caused quite the circus.

overall i would love to learn how to use it. For several reasons it just did not work for me. one on the reasons was i don't really have a set schedule and that is part of what is required when setting it up.

Pros

For the price the value is their for sure and I think it can be a very useful tool and support a very hectic schedule.

Cons

the part that was most discouraging for me was that am not very computer savvy and i had a great deal of issues in setting it up.

Pros

Calendly offered an easy way to schedule events and meetings while keeping everyone on the same page. It was an affordable option as well.

Cons

There were a good amount of bugs that I experienced, with links not working and appointments not appearing properly.

Calendly helped me manage a limited time project where I needed to allow users to schedule remote user feedback interviews at varying times with a way to automatically cut off once a certain number of users signed up. Setting up that kind of limit required a work around but it was better than Google Calendar.

Pros

It was fairly easy to set up a meeting type and set different availability windows for each day. The free plan was reasonable; it's not too limited to be functional. It gave me more features than Google Calendar for scheduling online meetings like user feedback interviews.

Cons

I needed to limit the total number of a meeting type, but I could only limit by a time frame instead (weekly instead of a total limit). I also had some trouble with missing the save button and having to redo settings because it wasn't obvious.

They can instantly see available time slots, book what works best for them, and get automatic confirmations and reminders. It removes friction, which is huge—especially when you’re trying to convert leads quickly or make it easy for someone to take the next step. Another big advantage is the ability to integrate payments directly into the booking process. For example, if we’re charging for consultations, clients can book and pay in one step, which cuts down on no-shows and streamlines everything on the backend. It also integrates well with calendars like Google Calendar, so everything syncs automatically and prevents double bookings. Plus, the ability to create buffers between meetings, set limits, and automate reminders helps keep our schedule manageable without having to think about it constantly. extremely useful for booking recurring or one-off group events! attendees can sign themselves up, and give info.

Pros

There's a free version and the paid versions aren't too expensive. Calendly customer support is friendly and they are always updating their product with more features and making it even easier to use. It was easy for the students we had to book their class spots online during covid when we had limited space. It's excellent for trouble shooting and there's no major bugs or issues. It's also nice to be able to share some files with attendees.

Cons

I don't have much negative to say about calendly. it worked easily and i like how often they update their features.

Pros

Cons

Overall, I really like big spreads that I had with calendly. It's quite versatile and I like how you think.Customize different things.Even down to the the ending of the link, even if you can't change the actual beginning of it, you can change the end.Which is quite convenient for customization

I like the fact that even on the free plan, you're still able to have one meeting link that you can use for multiple things.Until you need other ones, and it's quite affordable

Cons

I'm I don't like the fact that when you have the meetings like you can't customize the links to be something else like it has to say calendly almost like you can't mask the fact that you're using calendly.But over at all, that's not any real thing that I didn't like

It has revolutionized the way we schedule. So much more user friendly than using Sign Up Genius, which was how we previously managed students visiting campus for the day.

Pros

I love how Calendly links with our google calendar to show information in one spot! It helps provide a user friendly way to make admissions appointments for our school.

Cons

Sometimes sending reminders is tricky since we are in a school. If I want to send students a reminder 48 hours before their shadow day, I would like that to be in school days, not counting the weekend.

Pros

Calendly is easy to use, and I liked the way Calendly automaticalky connects to Zoom to set up meetings and place them in my calendar.

Cons

The price. I had Calendly for a few years and every renewal there was a price increase. Other than that I enjoyed the software.

I've used this software for quite some time now and it's great! Easy to configure and use and itnis a great tool for any business that need to schedule on line appointments.

Pros

With Calendly you can allow your customers to book meetings in your diary at their convenience. They are then far more likely to attend.

Cons

It's hard to think of any negativity with this software but if I'm being uber picky the interface is slightly confusing but this is not a real issue.

Pros

It is well integrated with Google Calendar and Gmail, which edits my calendar and send email notifications when someone books an appointment. No more back-and-forth.

Cons

Unable to embed Calendly properly and fully into a website is the only con I can think. Also the free version is not ideal.

My experience was great because it made my job as the interviewer so much easier with a click of a button.

Pros

My favourite part was how easy it was to schedule interviews. All you do it put in all the information about the interview and the time and date and then send it to the applicant.

Cons

There honestly was not anything I didn’t like. Calendar is great. I have no complaints. I would recommend it to anyone.
