It has allowed us to automate tedious tasks, from work load balancing, time tracking, tracking KPI's and milestones to automating the whole on-boarding/off-boarding process. Pros One of my favourite features of Monday.com is the endless opportunities it offers through the automations. They have improved year-on-year and allow you to do some pretty powerful stuff. Cons One thing I don't like about Monday.com is how some of the features are split between the different plans. I think that SSO should be available in their professional plan not just the enterprise one, and the same goes for the file storage, which jumps from only 100GB to 1TB from the professional plan to enterprise. It just seemed a little expensive for a small office based team. For £500+ a year it was a touch steep. In the end we used Microsoft planner which integrates with 365 very well. Pros Monday was a great planning platform which was really vedsitile. As a marketing manager I used to love planning my own workload on this. It allowed me to personally keep track of how my team was doing and allowed me to dump a lot of workload onto Monday so it was out of my mind. Cons The price seemed to be the stumbling block for me. Originally I used it for personal management however as soon as I wanted to invite team members in the price started to creep up. In my position I could need to have potentially 10 people as part as my board but didn't require the full Monday service for them so it got expensive. Pros Ease of use is by far the best feature! There are so many different ways to categorize your projects and collaborate with different teams that may need to access the same job. Cons I don’t know that it’s a bad thing, but there’s so many features built into the platform, but it’s great when you find new things it’s just a matter of figuring them all out. Monday makes easy to understand work boards and the UI is extremely user friendly. Pros I like most is the ability to create specific boards and ticketing to streamline account client support and team accountability. Cons Not really a con, but In the future I hope to see more connecting apps like data or analytics. I think it would be great to be able to send clients quick reports. Cons It's a bit pricey for a small business, but it is so easy to just dive in and get going; there isn't a huge learning curve. It’s also nice that you can share boards and updates. There is a lot of features which can be overwhelming for some people but I personally think it’s cool. Pros It has user friendly interface. And it’s also great for collaboration, like assigning tasks and file sharing. And it’s pretty easy to use. Cons It can be expensive. It can be hard to mange many notifications. Good for showing progress to non-technical stakeholders. But for deep technical work, it is maybe too simple or just pretty face. Pros The dashboards are very beautiful and easy to see status. I can make custom columns for my ML experiments status. It is fun to use and click buttons to change colors. Cons It is becoming very expensive when team size grows. The automation limit is low for basic plan. Sometimes the screen is too cluttered with too much colors and information. It's a terrific tool for the admin who has invited me and for others to provide information that is vital only to the project. Too many details to people that don't need them can bog down our efforts. Pros Monday is a terrific tool for cross-departmental collaboration. Different departments like IT and Merchandising come together to tackle initiatives that require our combined talents. Cons I don't like that I don't have the same level of permissions as I do on the project management tool I use for my department. Lol! I understand why I don't though. The admin for the project only needs to hear from me about certain aspects of the project and it's best I not have the ability to make unwanted modifications or add unnecessary context. The best way to describe Monday.com is that it doesn't just feel like a corporate project tool; it's useful, convenient, user-friendly, and, best of all, a joy to use. I highly encourage anyone with multiple projects to try Monday.com, especially if they've ever used any other similar software, and I guarantee they won't be disappointed or ever go back to their old, stale, uninspired project workspace again. Pros Monday.com is a project management app that I genuinely look forward to using every day because it makes creating tasks and tracking progress really easy to do. The layout feels functional, and it's highly customizable to fit my needs. One of my favorite things about Monday.com is that it almost feels gamified to track and complete projects. The colors and design are really appealing to look at, and you can customize your dashboard with a dark and light theme, which should be standard across all productivity apps. Monday.com even integrates fun animations when you complete tasks. I also love that you can get notifications on your desktop, connect your account through the app, and integrate your workspace across other apps like Gmail, Outlook, and your Google Calendar. Cons I have a limited number of items on my board until I have to either delete or archive my board; however, I'm currently using the free version of Monday.com, and I don't believe this is an issue with a paid subscription. Pros On Monday.com you can literally do everything. We are able to track our renewals, purchasing, financials, etc. This website is very easy to use and easy to manage. There are no issues with the website such as having bugs and issues when using it. Anything I needed help the customer support has always been prompt and quick. I had no problem learning how to set up my projects and make sure my timelines were aligned. This software helps automate project processes and tasks in a way that takes the dread out of it! Cons Setup is always a con with any software. However it is the only con I really found when using this software.
