### "Sadly a downfall of a once great tool."

November 18, 2025

2.0

When was new, fresh and innovative we were big fans. Sure, it was a bit pricy, but it matched our needs very nicely. But over time we encountered to many limitations with scale so we had to move away to another tool. which ended in a horrible user experience for all team members due to a daily "Your Account will be blocked" message showing up for the rest of the subscription period. For EVERY employee of the company. HORRIBLE.

Pros

Gerat Design and great feeling when interacting with the modern and team motivating interface. the features it supports feel great for the team members to use.

Cons

we encountered more and more buggy behaviour on Scale using to a point where we canceled the subscription. But then the horror happened. When the plan is canceled EVERY team member (Employee) will see a big warning banner EVERY SINGLE DAY saying: "Your plan's renewal has been cancelled and you will be blocked on August 6, 2025".- this is a huge NO GO and Customer service said there is nothing to do to prevent this from showing to every team member. "You will be blocked" messages going out to ALL employees for the next few months until our migration to another tool is completed is HORRIBLE.

### "Better Tracking, Less Chaos, and Stronger Follow-Through"

April 27, 2026

5.0

has immediately made me more effective in my work. It’s improved how I track tasks and reduced information loss by keeping everything in one place. It’s also made it much easier to maintain relationships by quickly accessing the latest notes and interactions. I can track proposals more efficiently and easily find past information for marketing, which has been a big improvement overall.

Pros

is very easy to use and quick to set up, even for more complex workflows. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes managing projects straightforward without a big learning curve. The automation features save a lot of time by handling repetitive tasks, and the templates make it easy to get started without building everything from scratch. It also offers solid value for the number of features included, so you don’t need a lot of extra tools. Overall, it’s a flexible and user-friendly platform that helps keep work organized and efficient.

Cons

It can feel overwhelming at first because of the number of options and customization available. There’s a bit of a learning curve when you’re getting started, especially if you’re building out more complex workflows. The onboarding services are also quite pricey. We decided to set everything up ourselves instead, which took some effort upfront but ended up being the right choice for us.

### "Monday for construction project tracking"

April 27, 2026

5.0

My company primarily uses Monday to track construction projects through their lifecycle and capture all of the key information about them. We also maintain boards for other uses to track information that needs to be centralized.

Pros

I love how customizable is. Between the AI agent, our own experience, and the various plugins / market place, we've been able to build a software tool that really supports our business processes. I also love the easy ability to create charts / graphs.

Cons

The lack of longitudinal tracking of projects. I wish that there was an easier way to see how a board (or project) changes over time without creating some really complicated system of boards / automations.

Alternatives considered

### "Really good project management app with automation ability"

May 1, 2026

5.0

Overall is a very good project management application. Its feature rich and really good with building workflows and automations. However with all these features, there is a slightly steep learning curve to get everything set up. The app is clean looking and the UI is user friendly. Its convenient that there is a desktop as well as mobile app. There's also a really good list of integrations available from their marketplace.

Pros

The application is modern looking and pretty easy to navigate and use. Its nice that you can create separate "workspaces" for different teams and/or entire projects. The ability to create sub tasks is convenient and move individual tasks around just drag and drop. Good customization of board layouts, columns, projects, and record color coding. There's a web application as well as a desktop app available. SSO is available for both Entra ID and Google Workspace.

Cons

You can only create a parent item and then one level subitem under that parent item. Building complex workflows and automations requires significant setup time. App is billed per seat and can get expensive for larger teams. Free tier only allows up to 2 seats and very limited in features/functions.

### "Married to M.com"

April 27, 2026

5.0

It has changed the way we run our business. Everything that we used to do on paper, in a shared drive, or on word documents, is now done with m.com

Pros

Reliable software that has helped streamline my business. I now run my entire business on m.com and consider myself married to it.

Cons

It can be a little overwhelming when you first use it. There are so many things you can do with it, and its hard to conceptualize a lot of it.

### "Super Customizable With a Learning Curve"

April 11, 2026

4.0

Overall works well for what I need. It’s really customizable, which is great, but it does take some time to get the hang of at first. It can be a bit frustrating when things don’t organize the way I want, since that ends up taking extra time and effort.

Pros

The UI feels really smooth, and the color coding plus organization makes it super easy to sort out tasks and keep track of who’s doing what on a project.

Cons

I do wish there were more walkthroughs or built in learning tools for the advanced features. It feels like I’m paying a lot for the software but mostly just using the basics.

### "Powerful and Flexible Platform for Managing Projects and Financial Workflows"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It helped us bring order to our workflows, improve visibility, and manage both projects and financial processes in a structured way. There was a learning curve at the beginning, but once set up properly, it became a central tool for day-to-day management and decision-making.

Pros

is very flexible and lets us manage projects, billing, and collections in one place. The dashboards are clear and customizable, giving quick visibility into key data. Automations are easy to set up and help streamline our processes without needing technical skills.

Cons

The platform can become complex as you scale—especially when managing multiple boards, formulas, and automations. Some advanced features (like reporting and cross-board analysis) are limited or require workarounds. Pricing can also add up quickly as you grow the team and need more advanced capabilities.

### "Great app… but the cost."

February 13, 2026

3.0

Monday was great while we used it. The problem is not in the application or ease of use at all, it comes down to the price. Our office switched to a task list in high level that we use for other parts of our business and has the same capability without additional cost. Take this with a grain of salt, we are a smaller business. A larger team and I could see this being very helpful. Maybe add a lower option for small businesses.

Pros

Monday is clean and organized. It was really great for keeping our whole team on the same page most of the time. Great for things like inventory lists, tasks, lead call-backs, etc.

Cons

The cost. $60 per month seems like overkill for something that does what other systems like a google document, shared apple notes, skylight, etc (I’m sure there are less expensive options) can do. The only thing different was I get a notification on Monday. If you schedule time each day to check a list instead of needing a notification, there are free ways to do all the same things.

### "Great CRM for everyone "

April 27, 2026

4.0

I love . It's easy to use, and I like that everything can be customized. I can rename my columns and create my own dashboard. It easy to see at first glance what needs to be done, if a project is on track or invoicing clients directly from Monday.com with the QuickBooks link.

Pros

Easy to use, colorful so it's easy on the eyes and to read. You can create several workspaces and connect them all. I like the templates, but they need to come up with new ones. However, it is such a positive change from Salesforce.

Cons

You have to learn how to use it through videos. I wish they had customer support. Yes, you have videos for almost every situation, but you have to watch the video, then pause it to try it into . Too many extra steps.

### "Commercial Manager"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It is a strong platform for bringing structure, visibility, and accountability across different workflows. I found it easy to track priorities, assign ownership, monitor progress, and keep teams aligned in one central place. The dashboards and automation features are particularly useful for reducing manual follow-up and giving a clearer view of what is active, delayed, or completed. Like any platform, it works best when boards are set up cleanly and governed properly, but overall it is a practical and effective tool for improving collaboration and workflow management.

Pros

What I liked most about is the visibility and structure it gives across workstreams. It makes it easy to see what is active, who owns each task, what the priorities are, and where items are sitting in the workflow. The platform is also intuitive and flexible, which makes it practical for different teams and use cases without becoming overly complicated. Its dashboards, status tracking, and automation features help keep work moving and reduce the need for constant manual follow-up.

Cons

What I liked least about is that it can become cluttered if boards and workflows are not set up consistently. With too many columns, automations, or duplicated boards, it can be harder to maintain a clean single source of truth. Some of the more advanced reporting and dashboard features also take time to configure properly, so the platform works best when there is clear ownership and governance around how it is used.

### "Review About monday.com"

5.0

My overall experience with has been excellent. The platform is very easy to use, and it helps me organize my data entry and client projects efficiently. I like the clean interface, automation features, and collaboration tools. It saves me a lot of time and makes my workflow more productive.

Pros

"The platform is highly customizable, which means we were able to build workflows tailored specifically to our construction processes, from estimating and pre-construction to active jobsite management and closeout. Whether it's assigning tasks, tracking subcontractors, monitoring materials, or logging daily reports, Monday gives us a clear and visual way to manage everything in one place."

### "The Best CRM I Have Used - 'For My Needs'"

November 5, 2025

5.0

I have used many CRM's including Monday, many years ago. It wasn't like it is now and I'm quite pleased with the progress. I'd have to say Monday is the best CRM for my needs I have ever used and I won't use anything else moving forward!

Pros

I love the interface and overall ease of use. It's looks great and well organized out of the box. Yet completely customizable to fit anyones needs from a solo entrepreneur to fortune 500 corporation.

Cons

Sometimes too many customization options is too much. The new "campaigns" feature for emailing tripped me up for hours! Once customer support instrusted me on how to access the section, all was well. Then the real malfunction occurred. I spent at least four hours with a support rep trying to import a csv with first name, last name and email. Neither of us could import the list completely. Leading the bug to be escalated to the next level of support. It's been two days now and I am sitting on a mailer to 735 of my clients. I may be forced to use another email server which is highly counterproductive.

Switched from

[ClickUp](https://www.capterra.com/p/158833/ClickUp/)

ClickUp is awesome! BUT - It's far too non-linear for me. I ended up spending more time trying to figure how and where templates were installed and located. Leading to lots of time spent on non productive tasks. But it holds it's own without a doubt.

### "Great software for complex project management "

February 13, 2026

Overall happy. We didn’t use it to its full capabilities, so decided to cancel because the monthly fee wasn’t worth what we used it for.

Pros

### "Outstanding tool for work collaboration and project management."

April 28, 2026

4.0

We switched from our previous vendor to 3 years ago. The software has worked well for us from deployment to implementation. It has ensured real-time visibility across all our operations enhanced automation of complex processes.

Pros

is an extensive and cloud based project management tool. The software allows us to easily assign tasks to our teams and collaborate in real-time. It also secure documents management and supports video conferencing. The software has customizable templates which can be easily tailored to meed different project management needs.

Cons

4.0

It has now become a core tool for my and my teams daily work management and project planning and management.

Pros

I like that is a user friendly platform that meets the needs of a wide spectrum of users, from technophobes to the tech savvy

Cons

Sometimes I do find basic intuition functionality that could be really beneficial is missing, like last week, I added auto-assigned item numbers to a board and would have loved that there was a straight forward way (or automatic) that the sub-item becomes a fraction of the parent item number (eg. parent number is 15, sub items would be auto-assigned 15.1, 15.2, 15.3 etc)

### "Full features, lower cost, but a lot to learn"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Great product, changed how we do business (for the better). I suggest it to all my friends in the industry.

Pros

Full featured, easier to use than other data base platforms. Was able to get personalized support when needed. Great value. Changed the way we view, report and visualize data.

Cons

There are a lot of features, so it takes a while so see what you can do with it. There's different products, like CRM, Work management and Service, which both seem to work together and not at the same time. It's hard to explain, but I get lost in trying to wrap my head around them as a unified product. Sometimes I can't get some of the features to work the way I expect, but that's a learning curve that I need to work around.

### "Easy to Use CRM That Keeps Everything Organized"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience using . It helps me stay organized and keep track of my accounts, client contacts, outreach, and follow-ups in one place. It makes it much easier to manage my day-to-day sales activity and see where each opportunity stands. Once I got comfortable with the platform, it became a helpful tool for staying on top of everything and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Pros

I use monday CRM to keep track of all my client contacts, accounts, outreach, and sales activity. What I like most is that it’s really easy to see everything in one place without having to dig through a bunch of different tabs or spreadsheets (there are a ton of features). It helps me stay organized, keep track of where each conversation stands, and quickly see what follow-ups I need to prioritize. I also like that it’s pretty intuitive and easy to update, which makes it simple to use day to day.

Cons

What I like least is that some of the more helpful automations and integrations are paid add-ons. For example, being able to export or connect certain data to Google Sheets would be really useful for reporting, but it can require an additional cost depending on the feature. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be frustrating when a feature feels like it should be included as part of the main platform.

### "Powerful tool once you get the hang of it"

August 25, 2025

4.0

Overall, has been helpful for our team, especially for keeping everyone on the same page. It’s flexible to work for different teams and types of projects, which is nice. At first, figuring out all the boards, automations, and settings can be a bit confusing. Once you get used to it, though, it really does make collaboration and project tracking easier.

Pros

I really like how easy it is to see what everyone’s working on at a glance. The boards and timelines make it simple to keep track of projects without constantly checking in with people. I also like that you can customize it for different teams. we’ve set up workflows that actually match how we work. And it connects with tools we already use like Slack and Google Drive, which makes life a lot easier.

Cons

The main thing I don’t love is that it can get a bit too much when we have a lot of boards and projects going on. Sometimes it feels like there are too many options or settings, and it takes a while to figure out the best way to organize everything.

It has been great. they have what you need, all you need to do is bring the discipline to the table. Its great t o look at is as texting or not having send that long email to explain what can be seen in real time.

Pros

I appreciate that my adhd brain gets the stimulation from an aesthetically please AND highly functional program. Looks do matter when you have too many words, number, people, and items to look at. It is also great to have all of our team on one accord. , def gets you through the week and beyond.

Cons

That you have to purchase so many add-ons and the prices that come with them. Maybe might be best to bring the prices down on them, especially for an organization already on the nonprofit plan. ### "Flexible platform for managing CRMs, accounting, and ecommerce"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall it has been great. Every issue I've had is responded to quickly by customer support. It's pretty straightforward to use (very Excel-esque). They put a lot of effort into platform growth and integrations. They seem like a very forward-thinking company.

Pros

I've been a user for a couple of years. I have a small business and needed one central place for managing my CRM, accounting data, and ecommerce orders. Monday's universal table design fits all 3 of those needs. They also have awesome apps for automation and templates that you can install from their marketplace. I use the BoostSync for Shopify and BoostSync for Xero apps and basically have my entire workspace connected, synced, and running on it's own for my team.

Cons

Monday pricing can get expensive quickly after your team starts expanding to 20+ users. But also at that point the platform expenses should be minimal compared to your actual business growth.

It as always been lovely and positive especially for me, it is easy to navigate and easy to manage tasks, although the pricing can be challenging. But It is a very good service

Pros

As a frontend developer and a freelancer, I find it very easy to navigate because with my field of works, I do a lot of collaboration with my team or clients and this as made it very easy for me. The automation is also a piece I love so much only if I can master it

Cons

It is a little bit pricey because most time my team are always small and it is not always easy for us to get hang of the price, also though I still find the basic feature easy to use but some customization and some automation are sometime difficult to get hold of
