My overall experience with monday.com is very positive. it is a great collaborative tool that allows us to increase our productivity.

Pros

I love the ability to keep our team organized and to make forms that allow us to gather more information from our company and organize data so that we can efficiently process it. i also love the automations where it allows us to automate emails directly set other processes into motion.

Cons

the interface takes a but of time to update if multiple people are using the same board. for example if multiple people are editing the same field it takes too long to update and the other person editing might add the same information twice.

I really liked the system overall, but was largely unimpressed with the lack of customer service and implementation resources available for users.

Pros

I loved the maneuverability, the ease of the platform. Whether you've worked with a dozen CRM platforms, or are new to CRMs entirely, this is a solid resource for project management, client engagement, and some HR functions.

Cons

Terrible customer service resources. Like many CRM systems, you are strongly encouraged to contract (externally) a database manager to ease the transition, establish your business systems and ensure set up is smooth, which is fair. But beyond the onboarding process and whether or not you contract out for that service, you are still left largely to figure out the tools, functions, and workflows of the system on your own. There are plenty of online materials and video resources, many free and posted by third parties using the software, but you're still left figuring it out on your own. For some technically savvy, this wouldn't be an issue, and for smaller teams with a dedicated IT manager or Office Manager very skilled with CRM systems, this may not be offputting - but you have to have a dedicated point person researching modules, practicing new workflows, and implementing office/company-wide resources for team members to be equipped with the skills they need to utilized monday.com to the best of the CRM's capabilities.

Overall, I really enjoy using Monday.com and continue to use it for our firm for organization and project management on a day to day basis.

Pros

You can customize Monday.com however you want allowing for automizations and systems to be utilized according to your needs making it very powerful. Virtually no restrictions in creating automization rules making it very easy to use according to specific needs.

Cons

It took a little bit of a learning curve to implement the automization rules, but once you are able to get the rules down there is no limit what you can do.

Overall, monday.com is a powerful and versatile project management tool. It combines ease of use with deep functionality. While it’s not the cheapest and has a few minor bugs, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks — especially for teams that value customization and visual clarity.

Pros

The visual layout and customization options. Being able to build a workflow from scratch or start from a template — then tweak every field to match our team’s process — is incredibly empowering. The automations saved us tons of time.

Cons

Some essential features are only available on higher-tier plans, which can be frustrating for small teams. Also, mobile performance could use improvement — especially when switching boards or loading large projects.

It has helped us to consolidate our project activities making it easy to collaborate in and manage our projects with ease. monday.com has enabled us to strategically plan for our tasks including setting up due dates which allows us to finish our projects in time.

monday.com has a collaboration space with communication features which allows us to work together on our projects. monday.com has task analytics and reporting features which provide us with valuable insights on how to improve our task operations. monday.com has project dashboards which makes it easy to monitor our project operations making it easy to track their progress. monday.com has document management features which makes it easy to create project documents, store and access them any time.

Cons

There has been no hate towards anything about monday.com. It has given us a great experience which has had no challenges.

Cons

Use the Monday app as an IT Project Management tool to keep my team organized and to not let projects fall through the cracks. I could also oversee my department's performance and activity without hovering over their shoulder, or read project notes after the fact. Overall, we are satisfied with the app as it does what it claims to do. Discounted one star as sometime the interface feels too dumbed down and it takes some time to figure out where to see/find/add an option we need for a particular project. We are planning on rolling it out to different departments so that upper management can get a big-picture view of all department's performance and projects.

Pros

Ease of collaboration between multiple users. Able to see progress of multiple projects, and assign projects to other users.

Cons

The email notifications were a lot to begin with, but we reduced their frequency once we configured our project notifications correctly. Not being able to duplicate a project and then edit.

To be honest both vendor and our in-house technical teams have played well in ensuring that we face zero errors in monday.com.

10 out of 10. They have a ton of support articles, a great online community, quick support when you contact them. They're wonderful!

Pros

My team laughs at me because I'm basically a Monday.com evangelist. I love the flexibility of the boards, docs, dashboards. I love the automations. I love tagging in comments. I love connecting to other tools. I would not be able to do my job without it!

Cons

The main con in my head is the price point for a small business. I wish we had enterprise for the things it would unlock in it's use but we can't afford it. And truthfully I don't think the price is unreasonable, it's just above what we can afford right now.

monday.com is so easy to use and any time I have any questions, customer support its superfast and responsive with easy-to-understand explanations especially for someone who isn't very tech savvy like how to set up automations, A HUGE TIME SAVER!

Pros

I use monday.com for my O&P lab to track and manage fabrication and client status. It is a fantastic platform with great integrated features for us to communicate and update projects with a live feed and in real time. All-inclusive so there's no hidden fees for necessary functions like most other apps.

Cons

I can't think of any negatives. Any time i have an issue, which is always a lack of understanding on my side, support is always there to assist.

It's been a love hate relationship. Ultimately, it helps keep our projects on track, but it feels very cluttered and hard to see how we are doing as a whole.

Pros

I like that it allows enough customization to track projects in detail, along with owners of each task with a project. There is some reporting functionality as well that is useful.

Cons

The automation doesn't always work like it should. For example, when a task is completed, it doesn't always waterfall correctly, or notify the next owner of a task. The software also needs better executive reports. The software does not present information in an easily understandable way at a glance.

Overall it’s been a solid tool for managing multiple moving parts. I’ve used it to track fleet repairs, launches, sign production, and onboarding progress, and it’s helped keep things clear and documented. Definitely a good operational dashboard once it’s dialed in.

Pros

The best part of monday.com is how visual and customizable it is. I can set up boards in a way that makes sense for my specific workflows, and the automations help cut down on repetitive tasks. It's easy to loop in teammates and keep everything centralized.

Cons

Some of the automation logic can feel limited unless you're on a higher-tier plan. There are also occasional sync or performance lags when boards get too large. Mobile app is decent but lacks some depth.

It helps keep you organized and stay on top of all tasks/projects to work efficiently. This is a great platform for companies to use as they can collaborate, stay organized, keep track of everything, etc.

Cons

Sometimes it can look a bit overwhelming as Monday boards can get a little overcrowded with assignments piling up, so perhaps if there were more structures/templates/board options to choose from, that could be helpful.

Overall, my experience now has diminished, given that I feel like the app has gradually gotten worse overtime, and maybe even obsolete, in my mind. It could just be a personal user issue for me, in that the design isn't configured to my needs, but I think the app was somewhat better before it underwent certain updates.

Pros

My opinion hasn't changed much in what I like about monday.com now, in that I appreciate the variety of options, and the plethora of configurations and permutations of scheduling options at my disposal.

Cons

However, now, the UI only feels more overcrowded (ironically), and I feel like I'm spending most of my time trying to figure out if I'm using monday.com correctly versus actually using it!

Only been using it a month, but its already better than other project management tools Ive used in the past and would recommend this to other agencies

Pros

Its so easy to navigate, manage projects, record time, and understand where everything is on a project. There are so many handy automations as well that speed up the process and make sure things work as well as they possibly can! I like the fact that there are other apps and widgets that you can incorporate to make your job easier!

Cons

Its not a Monday issues, its the apps/widgets that attach to it, can be clunky, don't have the same UX as Monday, and can make some tasks a bit more complicated than they need to be!

It's good and the team is working well in it. I think monday still has a lot of work to do in making the program quicker and easier to toggle between tasks and views without so much clicking in and out.

Pros

I like how user friendly it is and it gives teams plenty of visibility over things. I like that you can add your own fields and customise a board for what suits your team. I like the my work section which consolidates my own tasks across boards which make it easy to have a view of what I have due.

Cons

I don't like how it doesn't seamlessly connect across boards - i find the connect boards column confusing and not intuitive. I don't like how it's not automatic to have an item's properties visible once you click on it - you have to add this via customisation and add "item card" and "subitem" widgets. This should be included. I don't understand why you can't save a filter on a main view of a board. Or when you have a saved views with various filters, why those filters wouldn't automatically apply to new items.

Pros

There are a lot of features that are helpful for our project management team and the automation options are very helpful.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve when implementing internally. We setup our workspaces specific to our organization and found it to be a bit different than the “standard” templates. Once we got a few setup, though, it got easier.
