### "Great for internal workflows.Challenging learning curve"

March 2, 2026

4.0

The agency I was collaborating with was using Monday as an internal and external board. We had out internal objetives for each client and then the external boards with the Content plan and some automations. The main issue we had was with our clients. They were so lost about how to use Monday and also they received so many notifications so we ended up using another tool.

Pros

What I liked the most about Monday.com is that I can open different spaces for different clients and use It as my main operacional tool (Content plan, feedback,...). Also their automations system is amazing!! It sabes a lot of time and gives this premium vibe as an agency. Nevera had a bug or any issues with Monday. I just remember one time we couldnt reach to open It because their servidora weren't working and customer supoort vía mail answered me super fast that this was the problem.

Cons

Well, Some clients said that It was quite complicated to understand how to use Monday so I ended up using another tool. Other than that I don't have any complain.

### "My favorite PM and/or CRM tool - very intuitive"

January 22, 2026

5.0

Although I didn't PERSONALLY pay for Monday, I worked for clients who were only making $100,000/year to clients who were multi-million dollar companies and Monday worked (and was affordable) for BOTH! Anytime a client is looking for a CRM or project management tool Monday is always my first suggestion.

Pros

I have used a lot of project management softwares and Monday is by far my favorite - it's very intuitive whether you're more of a Kanban type user or would prefer another type of view. I love the fact that you can build in dependencies and it integrates with several other softwares such as Zoom, Gmail, and Slack (to name a few).

Cons

The login situation is a little tricky. I had a few different clients that used Monday and I would get a little confused about how to ensure I was logging into the correct Monday account.

### "Run don't walk away from this! Run away as fast as our can!"

January 29, 2026

1.0

Nothing short of straight trash. The list of issues with this are very long and at least 30 reported to the developers. It is a huge waste of time and efforts to create workarounds to fix the fact that this is a horrible program.

Pros

I do not like or recommend this product at all. The fact that they are advertised as anything project management is silly. They are in BETA testing with tasks being able to have multi layer subtasks. That says enough!

Cons

To go even further, the portfolios do not read up from the projects that it contains. You have to report it in the portfolio for it to show up in the project. Completely backwards. This is one of the worst failures in developments I have seen in a software. ClickUp is one thousand percent better and more equipped to handle enterprise or complex management. Monday.com is a joke

Response from monday.com

February 23, 2026

Hey there, we appreciate you taking the time to share this, and sorry to hear it's been a frustrating experience for you. Just to clarify on portfolios: they are designed to roll up data from the projects connected to them and reflect project-level information at the portfolio level. They aren’t separate from the projects themselves. If something wasn’t behaving that way in your setup, we’d genuinely want to understand why. If you’re open to it, feel free to DM us your account email or URL so we can review your configuration and previous reports more closely. We’d love to take a deeper look and see how we can improve your experience!

### "monday.com Review: A Powerful and Flexible Work Management Platform with a Premium Price Tag"

January 12, 2026

4.0

Monday.com is excellent for teams that need flexible workflows, visual project management, and strong collaboration within larger organizations willing to invest in scalable tools with automation and integration capabilities, has such much of my experience comes from working with it with our clients. That said, what it does it does very competently and with great ease-of-use.

Pros

Monday.com has a clean, colorful, and visual interface that makes navigating tasks and boards easier than many competitors, lowering the learning curve for new users and teams. It offers highly customizable boards, workflows, and multiple viewing options (Kanban, Timeline, Gantt or Calendar) with built-in automation that lets you reduce repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.

Cons

monday.com requires a minimum of three paid users, and essential features (Gantt charts, time tracking, advanced reporting) are often locked behind more expensive tiers. Although functional, the mobile app doesn’t always match desktop capabilities and has some issues.

### "Flexible and Powerful for Operations Management"

March 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with monday.com. It’s a flexible and powerful platform that helps us organize workflows, improve team visibility, and manage operations more effectively. While advanced setups can require ongoing maintenance, it has been very valuable for keeping our processes structured and centralized.

Pros

What I liked most about monday.com is how flexible it is for building workflows around the way our business actually operates, instead of forcing us to adapt to a rigid system. At Budd’s, we use it to organize and track multiple parts of the business, and the biggest advantage is the ability to customize boards, statuses, automations, and columns to match our real operational process. It gives us visibility across teams, helps centralize information, and makes it much easier to monitor progress, accountability, and bottlenecks in one place. Another big plus is that it works well as an operational hub alongside other systems. We’ve been able to use monday.com to support workflows connected to quoting, jobs, clients, and follow-up processes, which makes it valuable beyond just project management.

Cons

What I liked least is that as your workflow becomes more advanced, monday.com can start to feel a bit cluttered and harder to manage. It is very customizable, but that also means maintaining boards, automations, and integrations can take a lot of ongoing attention. Some processes that seem like they should be simple end up requiring workarounds or extra manual setup.

Switched from

[Asana](https://www.capterra.com/p/184581/Asana-PM/)

We switched from Asana to monday.com because we needed a platform that was more flexible for operational workflows, not just task tracking. monday.com gave us better customization for boards, statuses, dashboards, and automations, which made it a better fit for managing internal processes, KPI tracking, and cross-functional visibility in one place.

### "Great for tracking comp plan approvals"

January 24, 2026

4.0

I've been using monday.com for about six months to manage our sales compensation workflows (plan distribution and dispute tracking). Moving our "ticket" system from email chains to monday.com boards has been a huge win. However, I find the reporting and formula capabilities a bit light. It is excellent for process management , but for actual data analysis or complex commission calculations, I still have to export everything back to Excel.

Pros

Visual Status Tracking. I use the color-coded status columns. I have a board for "Commission Disputes" and at a glance, I can see what is "In Review," "Approved for Payout," or "Rejected." Automations. Setting up the "When status changes to 'Approved', notify Payroll" automation saved me so much manual emailing. It reduces the human error of forgetting to pass a dispute along.

Cons

Formula Limitations... You can do basic math columns, but it’s nothing compared to Excel. If you try to do complex tiered commission logic within monday.com itself, you will hit a wall.

### "The best platform out there for unified, connected project spaces."

December 8, 2025

4.0

Monday is a fantastic tool and great for managing project workflows. You can easily build your workflow and integrate with all the popular platforms (i.e. Figma, Zapier, Google, AI)

Pros

Monday.com is an excellent platform that integrates well and is extensible through their solid API. Usability is up there and much thought has gone into the ease of onboarding, which is great if you are using it as a client & internal space for projects.

Cons

Very little to be honest. Their AI tools are somewhat useful but like all AI they still suffer from being error prone.

### "Sadly a downfall of a once great tool."

November 18, 2025

2.0

When Monday.com was new, fresh and innovative we were big fans. Sure, it was a bit pricy, but it matched our needs very nicely. But over time we encountered to many limitations with scale so we had to move away to another tool. which ended in a horrible user experience for all team members due to a daily "Your Account will be blocked" message showing up for the rest of the subscription period. For EVERY employee of the company. HORRIBLE.

Pros

Gerat Design and great feeling when interacting with the modern and team motivating interface. the features it supports feel great for the team members to use.

Cons

we encountered more and more buggy behaviour on Scale using Monday.com to a point where we canceled the subscription. But then the horror happened. When the plan is canceled EVERY team member (Employee) will see a big warning banner EVERY SINGLE DAY saying: "Your plan's renewal has been cancelled and you will be blocked on August 6, 2025".- this is a huge NO GO and Customer service said there is nothing to do to prevent this from showing to every team member. "You will be blocked" messages going out to ALL employees for the next few months until our migration to another tool is completed is HORRIBLE.

My overall experience with monday.com has been excellent. The platform is very easy to use, and it helps me organize my data entry and client projects efficiently. I like the clean interface, automation features, and collaboration tools. It saves me a lot of time and makes my workflow more productive.

Pros

Whether it's assigning tasks, tracking subcontractors, monitoring materials, or logging daily reports, Monday gives us a clear and visual way to manage everything in one place."

Overall very positive experience. Much less complicated than some other similar programs and achieves the same goals.

Pros

Monday.com is an easy to use and easy to share platform. It is intuitive to use and a great place to store and share list and data.

Cons

### "monday.com is a GREAT Choice for Businesses of All Sizes!"

October 15, 2025

5.0

Overall, the experience has been so great. Once the initial bump of implementation is over, it truly is smooth sailing. The automations and organization of this system is intuitive and easy for the user. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a software for organization and project management.

Pros

Monday.com is super organized! It's easy to have multiple projects going at once. Their automation features make items hard to forget. Since my company has a ton of locations, it's nice to have separate boards for everything. There's also different pages that allow you to take notes free hand too. I love the options that they have. Customer support is fast and easy (and hardly necessary because of how intuitive and easy it is!). I haven't run into any major issues or bugs with the software. They are constantly improving things in their system and it makes it an easy choice. Even more, it's cheap! The value for the price tag is so worth it. Small yearly/monthly costs make it an no brainer for companies of all sizes!

Cons

Sometimes there can be so many boards in Monday.com that it can be hard to keep things straight. Things can feel disjointed until you learn how to link pages to each other. Another thing that can be frustrating at the beginning of implementation is setting notifications to be correct for you. Without making necessary changes, you can get flooded with email and app notifications for everything. If you're not careful, it can be a distraction. This can be easily fixed, however.

### "Efficient, Intuitive, and a Game-Changer for Team Collaboration"

September 30, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with monday.com has been excellent. It transformed how we manage our tasks, collaborate across departments, and stay on top of deadlines. The platform is stable, support is responsive, and updates keep improving the product. It’s become an essential part of our day-to-day operations.

Pros

I loved how intuitive and user-friendly the interface is. The visual layout makes it really easy to track projects at a glance. The automation features are a huge time-saver, and the customizable workflows helped us tailor monday.com to exactly what our team needed. Plus, it integrates smoothly with other tools we use like Slack and Google Drive.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve when setting up more complex automation or boards, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. It would also be great if some of the premium features were available on lower-tier plans.

Overall happy. We didn’t use it to its full capabilities, so decided to cancel because the monthly fee wasn’t worth what we used it for.

Pros

Cons

### "Fantastic way to manage your desk!"

September 8, 2025

Beautiful platform, making client management easy and fun! Great for visual people, who need to SEE their tasks.

Pros

This platform makes tasks beautifully organized and easy to manage. The color coordination, automations, and collaboration features made this a wonderful tool for my team to manage our insurance business. The Llama farm makes me smile!

Cons

No option to pay per seat. You either get 5 or you get 10. We had 6 team members that needed to use it, so it was not economical to pay for 10 seats. I also wish it integrated with the AMS we use, would have been the icing on the cake.

### "A good solution for single point of truth on shared spreadsheets but expensive."

September 7, 2025

3.0

Very effective for my case use. But incredibly expensive as a solution to create master, shared spreadsheets. It clearly does do more than just this, but given the default views and setup, that's essentially what it is - rows and columns. It's incredibly over priced for this.

Pros

I couldn't keep effective version control over several shared spreadsheets very well. Enter Monday which worked wonders to do this. Created a single point of truth for key data where other tools I suffered from multiple versions being saved by various users, leading to inaccuracies.

Cons

Cost. With a need to share across internal users and external - you can absolutely do that - but internal occasional users must have a full seat and the cost rachets up and fast! Also, it requires a minimum seat subscription at start up meaning it starts more expensive than it needs to if you want to try it.

### "Easy to use. Limitless options."

January 19, 2026

5.0

Positive. I use Monday across so many teams and processes, I probably check a Monday board at least 10 times every day. I would be lost without it.

Pros

You can really do anything in Monday. Set personal weekly sprints, build out campaign calendars, automate workflow, management processes and keep team accountable. It's so easy to use and set up automations with the way the logic is written.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like things bug out a little, like I will write a brief, save it, and then it disappears. It's very rare but it has happened on occasion, there's so much information and data flowing through, maybe sometimes a bit gets lost.

### "From Chaos to Clarity: Why We Chose monday.com"

July 29, 2025

5.0

monday.com is the best work management platform I’ve used. I manage internal sales operations on it, run client projects, and build full systems for SMBs and Enterprise teams alike. It saves time, improves accountability, and streamlines collaboration. As a monday.com partner, I’ve seen firsthand how transformational it can be when implemented well. The community and support have also been a big help when pushing the platform to its limits.

Pros

Whether I’m building complex CRM systems, project trackers, or onboarding workflows, it adapts to virtually any business process. The combination of automations, dashboards, and connected boards creates true end-to-end visibility across teams. I also appreciate how intuitive the UI is for new users, which makes adoption easier for the companies I consult with.

Cons

There’s a learning curve when trying to build advanced logic, especially without formal training. Also, permissions could be more granular for Enterprise users managing cross-departmental access.

### "Continually improving and leading the way for project management"

August 25, 2025

4.0

I set this up for an organisation I work for and it has absolutely improved communication, task flow and productivity. It has also allowed upper management to get an oversight into the output of the team that is using it.

Pros

Monday is a very easy to setup and use platform. You can see benefits almost instantly when you start setting up your first board. Features such as the ability to view projects and tasks in multiple views (table, Kanban and calendar for example), and the automations are amazing. The number of growing integrations is another bonus. The special pricing that Monday offers Not For Profit (NFP) organisations makes it an absolute leader in this space.

Cons

There are some limitations in the platform such as an inability to create some automations at the sub task level. The support/development teams do a decent job of monitoring feedback in their official forums though. With enough feedback, some of these limitations can be addressed over time.
