### "Overall, pretty good"

April 28, 2026

4.0

Overall, monday can be as simple or as complex as you need it to be. It is worthwhile either paying someone to set it up for you, or have someone internally as the champion to set it up. When used properly it can be very powerful, when used poorly, it creates too much admin. It is the closest to project management software I would design if I did it myself (still not perfect though).

Pros

Monday UI is very nice and intuitive to use (if setup properly) and has the ability to be a one stop shop platform. Ease of use has meant adoption from staff has been very good. Automation features are good, templating is reasonable but a bit buggy sometimes. Customer support has been very helpful when you can get to a human, but you often have to go through useless AI bots to get there.

Cons

Monday is very expensive, which means it can be difficult to justify seats for all users. This means that use of the software can be a bit half hearted by your company if only some people are allowed seats. The ability to track resources, time and budget is pretty basic, especially if you've come from something like MS Project. Updates seem to be mainly focused on AI at the moment, which can be frustrating, especially when features the community has been asking for for a long time continue to get pushed. Would appreciate more transparency on the roadmap.

Reason for choosing monday.com

### "Easy to Start, but Requires Structure to Deliver Full Value"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Monday.com is a user-friendly, visually clean platform that is quick to get started with and helps reduce manual work through simple automation, making it a strong fit for teams that want something straightforward and not overly technical. However, rolling it out across teams, especially with structured workflows and AI, adds complexity that is not immediately obvious. Without clear workflow design, practical training, and a phased approach, usage can become inconsistent and AI features are often underutilised. Overall, while the platform is easy to adopt, getting full value from it requires more structure, guidance, and change management than initially expected.

Pros

Monday.com is a really easy-to-use project management tool that stands out for its clean, visual layout and quick setup, you can get the hang of it pretty fast without much training. The automation features are a big plus, helping you cut down on repetitive tasks with simple, no-code rules, although they can feel a bit limited if you’re working on more complex projects or lower-tier plans. Customer support is generally reliable and available around the clock, with helpful guides and quick responses, even if more complicated issues sometimes take longer to resolve. Overall, it’s a great option if you want something straightforward, efficient, and not overly technical.

Cons

Monday.com is easy to pick up and works well at a basic level, but things get more complicated when you try to roll it out properly across teams, especially with AI and structured workflows. People might start using it, but without clear guidance, they often use it inconsistently or don’t use the AI features effectively. If too much is introduced at once, it can feel overwhelming, and teams end up only using it on the surface. So while it looks simple, getting real, consistent value from it takes more planning, clearer workflows, and a more phased approach than expected.

### "Works well once you get used to it"

April 28, 2026

5.0

overall experience with monday.com has been pretty smooth. it’s easy to get started and doesn’t feel heavy. once things are set up, managing tasks and tracking work becomes much simpler. it handles day to day work well, though it can feel a bit much as things scale. but overall, it does the job without too much friction.

Pros

monday.com is pretty easy to start with, didn’t take much time to figure things out. UI is simple and clean so setting up boards and tasks is quick. i like how flexible it is, you can use it for different things without needing any technical setup. automations help a lot with small repetitive stuff. also gives a good view of what everyone is working on so tracking is easier. integrations with tools like slack and google drive work fine. overall it just makes managing work a bit smoother without too much effort.

Cons

can feel a bit cluttered when things scale. pricing gets expensive as team grows. takes a little time to set things up properly. notifications can get noisy if not managed.

### "Senior Manager"

April 28, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Monday.com has been extremely positive. The platform has delivered significant time savings for both myself and my department, allowing us to work more efficiently and focus on what truly matters. A standout result has been our ability to consistently maintain departmental KPIs above 98%, which speaks directly to the reliability and clarity Monday.com brings to our workflows. Monday.com has greatly improved communication across multiple departmental elements by providing clear visibility, ownership, and direction on projects. Everyone knows what is happening, who is responsible, and what the next steps are, which has reduced confusion and improved accountability across the board. The introduction of Monday Vibe has taken things to another level, enhancing our workflows, improving visual presentation, enabling powerful cross‑board data analysis, and delivering highly effective dashboards. The ability to “pimp out” our boards and reporting has not only improved performance tracking but also made the platform enjoyable to use on a daily basis. Overall, Monday.com has become a critical part of how we operate. It supports structure, efficiency, and performance at scale, 'way to go, Monday.com'.

Pros

Monday.com is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for staff who are not particularly tech‑focused. The visual layout makes it simple to understand task status, priorities, and ownership at a glance, which significantly reduces onboarding time for new users. One of Monday.com’s strongest features is its flexibility. Boards, columns, automations, and views can be tailored to suit different teams and workflows, allowing us to manage everything from day‑to‑day tasks to more complex operational processes in one platform. The built-in automations save a considerable amount of time by reducing manual updates and follow‑ups. Notifications, status changes, and task assignments happen automatically, which helps keep work moving without constant supervision. Monday.com greatly improves collaboration by giving everyone clear visibility over who is working on what and where tasks are up to. Comments, updates, and file attachments being tied directly to items keep communication organised and easy to follow. The dashboards provide useful high-level insights into workloads, timelines, and progress across multiple boards. This makes it much easier to track performance and identify bottlenecks without manually pulling data from different sources.

Cons

While basic functionality is easy to pick up, some of the more advanced features (such as complex automations and dashboards) can take time to fully understand and configure correctly. As teams grow and require additional users or advanced features, costs can increase quickly. This may be a consideration for organisations managing a large number of users or multiple boards.

Reason for choosing monday.com

We chose Monday.com because it delivers the right balance of flexibility, visibility, and control, while remaining intuitive for users at all levels of the organisation. It supports how we actually work, rather than forcing us to adapt to a rigid system. Monday.com allows us to fully customise workflows, fields, automations, and views to reflect our real operational processes. This was critical for managing complex, multi‑department activities without workarounds or disconnected tools.

### "Great for internal workflows.Challenging learning curve"

March 2, 2026

4.0

The agency I was collaborating with was using Monday as an internal and external board. We had out internal objetives for each client and then the external boards with the Content plan and some automations. The main issue we had was with our clients. They were so lost about how to use Monday and also they received so many notifications so we ended up using another tool.

Pros

What I liked the most about Monday.com is that I can open different spaces for different clients and use It as my main operacional tool (Content plan, feedback,...). Also their automations system is amazing!! It sabes a lot of time and gives this premium vibe as an agency. Nevera had a bug or any issues with Monday. I just remember one time we couldnt reach to open It because their servidora weren't working and customer supoort vía mail answered me super fast that this was the problem.

Cons

Well, Some clients said that It was quite complicated to understand how to use Monday so I ended up using another tool. Other than that I don't have any complain.

### "Powerful tool, but comes at a price"

March 31, 2026

5.0

We have been using monday.com for a while now and overall it does what it promises. It keeps the team aligned and projects on track, which at the end of the day is what matters. We just wish the pricing was a bit more fair for growing teams. If you are a small team or a larger company with budget to spare, it is genuinely worth it. If you are somewhere in the middle, you might find yourself questioning the value every time the renewal comes around.

Pros

Honestly, the visual layout is what got us hooked. Being able to see all our projects in one place with color coded statuses, timelines, and dashboards made a huge difference for our team's workflow. The automations are also a game changer once you figure them out. Things like auto assigning tasks or sending reminders used to eat up so much of our time, and now they just happen. Collaboration feels natural too, everything stays in one place instead of getting lost in email threads.

Cons

The pricing is where it starts to hurt. As soon as our team grew, the cost jumped significantly, and some features we expected to be basic are locked behind higher tier plans. There is also a learning curve. New team members do not just get it right away, we almost had to dedicate time to onboard each person properly. Sometimes the platform also feels a bit slow when we have a lot of boards loaded up.

### "The best work management tool"

April 27, 2026

5.0

I love it and my team love it. monday.com is the best work management tool I've used and it is now our core system for planning and delivery of work.

Pros

It's a very user-friendly platform which is enjoyable to use and has been embraced by our team. There is also so much functionality and AI features and new enhancements being constantly released. We have also just started using the CRM which is much more engaging to use than traditional CRM systems.

Cons

There is a lot of functionality which we didn't use initially, but the more we use it the more we are discovering additional ways to automate and connect our work.

### "The Platform That Changed How My Team Works (Mostly for the Better"

April 10, 2026

4.0

Overall, monday.com has been a net positive for how I manage work and lead my team. It brought structure to what used to feel chaotic, and gave everyone (myself included) a clearer sense of ownership and accountability. The learning curve exists, but once the team was up and running, the platform became less of a tool and more of a operating rhythm. Is it perfect? No. But the right tool rarely is. What matters is whether it makes your work life meaningfully better, and for the most part, monday.com does exactly that.

Pros

The visual boards genuinely changed the way I run my team. I still remember the early days of juggling spreadsheets and chasing people down for status updates — it was exhausting. With monday.com, I pulled up a board and everything was just there. Color-coded, organized, and instantly readable. My team stopped asking "what should I be working on?" and I stopped dreading Monday morning check-ins. That alone was worth the switch.

Cons

The two areas where monday.com still has room to grow are integrations and pricing. Some third-party connections feel a bit surface-level for a platform of this caliber — certain workflows require more manual effort than they should, which can be a minor but recurring inconvenience. On the pricing side, costs do add up as your team scales, and a few features that feel fairly essential are reserved for higher-tier plans. Nothing that would push me away, but worth factoring in before you commit.

Switched from

[Asana](https://www.capterra.com/p/184581/Asana-PM/)

Asana is a solid platform, but its rigid structure meant I was constantly adapting our workflows to fit the tool rather than the other way around. monday.com offered the flexibility I was looking for such as r — customizable workflows.

### "monday.com - turning Mondays into something better."

April 28, 2026

5.0

My experience with Monday has been very positive overall. I really like how intuitive and easy to use the platform is—it helps me stay organized without wasting time figuring things out. The range of features is solid, and the automations and templates save me a lot of time in my daily workflow, which makes it great value for money. I also appreciate how responsive and helpful the customer support is when I need it. While I’ve encountered a few minor bugs here and there, they’ve never been a major issue and usually get resolved quickly. What I particularly enjoy are the widgets, which make it easier to visualize my work, and the integrations—especially with DocuGen—which add a lot of efficiency to my processes. Overall, Monday helps me stay productive in a simple and effective way.

Pros

I like Monday because it brings a sense of structure and fresh momentum to my week. When it comes to value for money, Monday offers a lot through its robust set of tools that help me stay organized and efficient without feeling like I’m overspending on features I don’t use. Another reason I appreciate Monday is its ease of use. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to manage tasks, track progress, and collaborate with others. I don’t have to spend time figuring things out—it just works. On top of that, their customer support is responsive and helpful whenever I run into questions. In terms of features, Monday covers everything I need, from task management to workflow tracking. The automation capabilities are especially useful, saving me time by handling repetitive tasks. I also find the templates very practical—they give me a solid starting point for different types of projects. Of course, like any platform, there can be occasional bugs and issues, but they’re usually minor and get resolved quickly. Overall, Monday helps me stay productive and organized, which is why I genuinely enjoy using it.

Cons

Actually, nothing I think, I really appreciate the software because it's always evolving. Maybe the fact that sometimes my automations get desactivated but I don't know why - so I went with workflows.

### "Easiest to use, most comprehensive online project management platform"

April 27, 2026

5.0

I have had an outstanding experience with Monday.com! I led a deep review of project management platforms with my former employer, and our execution and use of Monday was so smooth and successful that I have implemented it at my current organization. This will always be my top choice for usability, user friendliness, and a great competetive cost that gives outstanding functionality without breaking the bank.

Pros

We went through a review of various project management platforms and ultimately settled on monday for several reasons. First it has some of the best help files of any software service I have used, ever. The help and instructions site is amazing because the information is available in multiple formats, like text and video, not just one or the other, so the information is available in the manner in which the user learns best. It is also set up so that different preferences can be accomodated. For example if someone tends to work well with color coding, but someone else works best with lists both can be set up. The ability to see the status of multiple tasks or projects at once is really helpful, and now they have expanded their templates and integrated AI so it is even easier and more effective for basic users

Cons

I honestly dont have a lot of downsides. Any issues I have had I have always been able to solve by going to the help files.

### "Powerful and Flexible but needs Customization for Nonprofits"

April 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with monday.com has been very positive. It helped us centralize workflows and improve organization across our nonprofit team. The flexibility, automations, and integrations save a lot of time, but there is a learning curve, especially for dashboards and more complex setups. The CRM templates are also quite sales-focused, so we had to customize them to better fit nonprofit needs. Overall, once set up, it is a powerful tool that really improves efficiency and collaboration.

Pros

I have been using monday.com for a while now to manage operations at a nonprofit, and honestly, it has made a big difference in how we stay organized. What I like most is how everything can live in one place. We use it for tracking leads, managing projects, handling contracts, and even donor tracking. Before monday.com, things were all over the place, and now it just feels much more structured and easier to follow. The boards are flexible enough that we can set them up exactly how we need, which is a huge plus. I also really like the automations and integrations. Once we connected it with tools like Thinkific and Zapier, it saved us a lot of manual work. Things update automatically, and we can see data almost in real time, which is super helpful for reporting.

Cons

here is definitely a learning curve, especially when you try to build more complex workflows or dashboards. Some features (like charts or reporting) are not as straightforward as you would expect, and sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to get things right. One thing I noticed is that the Monday CRM templates feel very sales-focused. They work well for traditional sales pipelines, but for a nonprofit like us, they do not always fit out of the box. We had to spend extra time customizing and adjusting the structure to better support things like partnerships, program tracking, and community engagement. Also, it can be a little confusing figuring out when to use the CRM side versus the regular work management boards. We had to experiment quite a bit before landing on a structure that worked for us.

Switched from

[Salesforce Service Cloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/136189/Salesforce/)

We switched from Salesforce to monday.com mainly because we needed something simpler, more flexible, and easier for our team to actually use day to day. Salesforce is powerful, but it felt too complex for our needs. It required more setup, maintenance, and technical knowledge, which made it harder for a small nonprofit team to manage efficiently. Many workflows were not as transparent, and it was not always easy for staff to quickly understand or update information.

5.0

Overall, my experience with monday.com has been very positive. We use it across all functions, including onboarding, sales, estimation, procurement, production, project management, contract overview, and maintenance. It has significantly improved visibility, coordination, and efficiency across teams.

Pros

It is well presented and very intuitive to use. The interface is clean and visually appealing, making it easy to understand even for first‑time users. Boards can be easily customised and reconfigured based on specific team or project needs, which makes planning and tracking work highly flexible and efficient.

### "Eficiência no dia a dia, com desafios no crescimento"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Além disso, as automações e integrações disponíveis otimizam processos e reduzem tarefas operacionais repetitivas, aumentando a produtividade no dia a dia.

### "Powerful but takes time to get right — worth it once you do"

May 18, 2026

5.0

We've been using monday.com for about 14 months across a team of 11 people in a marketing agency. After a shaky first month of setup, it's now the first thing I open every morning. The value for money feels fair at our current plan level, though I do wish the mid-tier included more automation runs. If you're willing to invest a week or two into setting it up thoughtfully, it pays back in clarity and accountability across the whole team.

Pros

Monday.com completely changed how our team tracks work. The visual boards are genuinely satisfying to use — color-coded statuses, drag-and-drop task cards, and the ability to switch between Kanban, Gantt, and list views without losing any data is a huge win. Task management is where it really shines; assigning owners, setting deadlines, and leaving update threads directly on tasks means we've cut our email back-and-forth by a lot. The automations are also a standout feature — once I set up a rule to notify the team when a task moves to "stuck," it just runs itself. Customer support was responsive when I had onboarding questions, and the help docs are actually readable.

Cons

The pricing jumps steeply once you scale up seats, which stings for smaller teams. The free tier is almost too limited to evaluate it properly. There's also a learning curve around process management — building multi-board workflows with dependencies and linked items feels unintuitive at first, and I ran into a few bugs where automations fired twice or didn't trigger at all (though this seemed to resolve itself after a day). New users tend to over-complicate their boards early on, so without proper onboarding, adoption can stall.

### "AI new features"

April 29, 2026

3.0

It’s been a great experience over the past two years, and we’ve really valued the platform. However, the recent AI implementations haven’t been as effective for our needs, and the associated costs have become quite high. At this point, we’ve been relying more on tools like Claude, which have proven to be more efficient for our workflows and significantly more cost-effective compared to our current usage of Monday.com

Pros

We can add different column types, I like to design and it's easy to use, I love the templates and the automatizations. Nice customer support.

Cons

The Monday.com Vibe always have mistakes and didn't work correctly, I am starting to use Claude instead of Vibe to create my charts and AI views.

April 27, 2026

5.0

### "Very visual and easy project management tool"

May 16, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Monday.com is positive. It is a great tool for managing tasks and teamwork, especially for people who like a visual style. It is easy to start using and does not require much training. However, for more complex project management, it may not be as powerful as some other tools.

Pros

What I like most about Monday.com is that it is very easy to understand and visually clear. It helps organize tasks and projects in a simple way, and the boards are very intuitive. It is also flexible and can be used for different types of teams and projects.

Cons

What I like least is that some advanced features are only available in paid plans. It can also become a bit confusing when there are too many boards or tasks. For very large projects, it may feel less structured than other tools.

### "Flexible, Visual Project Management with Room to Grow"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with monday.com has been very positive. It’s a flexible and user-friendly platform that makes organising tasks, tracking progress, and collaborating with a team much easier. The visual layout helps keep everything clear, and the ability to customise workflows means it can adapt to different types of projects. While there is a slight learning curve and some limitations in advanced features, the platform generally delivers a smooth and efficient experience, especially for teams looking to improve organisation and productivity without overly complex tools.

Pros

I really like how intuitive and visually organised monday.com is. The customisable boards make it easy to track projects and adapt workflows to different needs without feeling restricted. The automation features save time on repetitive tasks, and the integrations with other tools help keep everything in one place. Collaboration is also smooth, with clear communication and updates across teams. Overall, it strikes a great balance between simplicity and powerful functionality, making it suitable for both small teams and larger organisations managing complex projects.

Cons

One downside of monday.com is that it can become quite expensive as your team grows, especially when you need access to more advanced features. Some of the automations and integrations are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can feel limiting. The platform can also feel overwhelming at first due to the number of customisation options available. Additionally, certain views and reporting tools lack depth compared to more specialised project management software, making it harder to extract detailed insights without extra setup or external tools.

### "Highly Satisfied Monday User"

April 27, 2026

4.0

I enjoy Monday- I love the new things it comes up with like the AI add-on's. I appreciate the constant updates and positive changes. I have had our account manager reach out to see if they're able to assist, but I've taken the time to figure things out. Overall, I love it, I rate it four stars because there is always room for improvement, but I recommend this program to most of my acquaintances.

Pros

The automations help keep flows moving. With large or small teams, we can consistently upkeep statuses and update our team where we need more information or something is complete. It's a live environment that is easy to use and easy to keep communication up to date. I love the Monday Vibes and the customization that is at our fingertips.

Cons

I don't find too many cons, but I wish there were more capabilities for notetaking. I tend to get lost with my notes and where things exist. Maybe I haven't found the best way for it. Also don't like that I can't customize my main workspace the way I can other boards.

### "Great platform with powerful features"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Great experience so far. It’s a powerful platform with a lot of potential once you get the hang of it. There’s definitely a learning curve, but once systems are set up properly, it makes managing tasks, communication, and workflows much more efficient and streamlined across the team.

Pros

Very up to date and constantly evolving with new features. It’s a great platform for organising workflows, automating tasks, and keeping everything in one place. The customisation options are strong, allowing you to tailor boards to suit your business needs, and the integrations make it easy to connect with other tools we already use.

Cons

The AI features can be a little confusing to navigate at times, especially when you’re first getting started. There are so many options and tools available that it can feel slightly overwhelming, and it takes a bit of time to fully understand how everything works together and how to best implement it.

### "Productivity from small non profits to large company projects and everything in between."

April 28, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Monday.com has been incredible! I have thoroughly enjoyed this productivity software to the point that I now use it to manage my graduate studies, and I started designing templates. And now with the AI enhanced, I can quickly design a workbook, bring it online and make micro changes as I am building out my project making my days even more productive and efficient.

Pros

I have enjoyed using Monday.com since first signing on. I was skeptical as to how the platform could help a small non-profit, but was immediately impressed by the templates and features. I was able to quickly build out a communications calendar for our social media and a grants tracking table from their templates and quickly customized it to our needs. I was also able to send out our newsletter to clusters of recipients and track opening and link utilization. It was incredibly easy to onboard my peers, they customized feeds, added comments, and found our tracking of projects more detailed and reliable, especially because we could link our Google drive and quickly attach documents for review and cross communication, not only did they find the platform easy to adapt to, they felt more productive and engaged.

Cons

We have been with Monday.com for almost three years and just over a year ago we ran into a billing and platform upgrade simultaneously, this caused a problem for us to log in and we had to step back to the legacy product while they worked the big out. That was frustrating. However, customer service worked with us each step of the way until the issue was resolved.

### "Monday is PERFECT for Project Management"

April 27, 2026

5.0

I don’t have much time each day to dedicate to processes, but I do have enough time to mark a task as complete or in progress. Monday’s automations are saving me time, and their templates are saving my sanity. Thank you, Monday, from the bottom of this ADHD-er's heart!

Pros

As a person with ADHD, color-coding my work regarding completeness has been a game-changer. I can look at any project dashboard and immediately know if I’m on time or falling behind. It’s definitely held me more accountable to myself and my Board of Trustees. The templates have been amazing, as has the free non-profit training. I’ve tried other products before, such as Click-Up, and, for me, they can’t hold a candle to Monday. Plus, even little automations make my life a whole lot easier.

Cons

Every product has a learning curve. I hate that, but Monday has made it less of a chore by building an onboarding process into Monday Academy. When you go through the tutorial, it’s easy to set up what you need to get started, and the additional options in Monday Academy really help you fine-tune the product to what you need for your business. In my case, a non-profit public library

While Click-Up is free, it’s also very plain and doesn’t seem to have the complete functionality that Monday does. Plus, Monday is free for non-profits as well for up to 10 seats! If you’re in the non-profit space, I highly recommend it, as Monday also offers more seats and deeper discounts for greater functionality!

### "A Robust Solution for Large-Scale Rollouts and Complex Coordination"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with monday.com has been highly positive and transformative for our workflow. It has shifted our project management from fragmented communication to a centralized 'single source of truth.' > The platform’s greatest strength lies in its versatility; it successfully bridges the gap between high-level planning and granular technical execution. The automation features have been particularly impactful, allowing us to manage complex roll-out phases with greater precision and less administrative overhead. Despite some minor challenges in navigating a high volume of boards, the platform's stability, ease of use, and robust feature set make it an essential tool for delivering large-scale projects on time and with full transparency.

Pros

What I like most about monday.com is its incredible flexibility and automation engine, which provide excellent value for money. For a roll-out project involving multiple locations, the ability to automate status changes and instant notifications is invaluable; it significantly reduces manual work and ensures all stakeholders are aligned. Additionally, the ease of use and the variety of features—like the Gantt and Dashboard views—allowed us to customize our workflow perfectly. We also found the templates to be a great starting point, saving us hours of setup time. It is a remarkably stable platform with almost no bugs or issues, and on the rare occasions we had a question, their customer support was fast and professional.

Cons

As projects scale and the number of boards increases, the navigation and search between multiple workspaces can become slightly cluttered. While the Search Everything tool is helpful, a more streamlined way to manage dependencies across dozens of different boards would enhance the experience for large-scale operations. Maybe that is because my license is Pro and not buisness.
