October 26, 2021 5.0 We're very pleased to be able to distribute digital signage to multiple locations, with little effort in terms of implementation, as well as eliminating the need for on-premise or LAN management. Pros Great support for most OS-types, low cost, versatile in terms of deployment, easy to use for users with basic IT knowledge. Cloud managed, only need local access to internet in able to manage a remote screen. Cons Required the use of a credit card, at the time of acquisition. Invoice would be better suited to our needs. From company updates to safety awareness campaigns, ScreenCloud offers us an effective and interactive digital signage platform. Pros ScreenCloud has proven to be an extremely effective tool at getting company messages and information out to our greater team. With multiple operations and varying team member schedules, it can be difficult to have everyone in one place at the same time. With ScreenCloud, I am easily able to create, update and post content that'll air at each operation. The platform allows for easy customization and immediate display with a click of the mouse. Cons There isn't much negative to say. My only true complaint is that the "Canva" content creation function can feel clunky at times. I hope to see further improvements and updates as time goes on. Communication can be a challenge especially with staff that may not have time to check emails timely. Our digital screen serve as another form of communication to our staff to keep them informed of important events, reminders and information that they may need or want to know. Pros The user friendly UI and numerous features. Content scheduler, display video, display photos/social media, custom content, you name it, you can most likely do it with ScreenCloud. This has saved us time and money going to a digital platform and we are able to share more information quicker than ever before. Pros What I love most about ScreenCloud is the ability to quickly post a picture or information to get on to our boards. This has been the easiest way to get information to our members other than email (which most of them don't read). Cons The only thing that I don't like right now is that screen cloud won't recognize the latest picture format of HEIC on most iPhones. Prior to this our info screens were controlled corporately out of India. The time difference alone made it nearly impossible to get support and my hands were tied. When we made the switch to ScreenCloud I was able to take full control of the info screens and now have excellent customer support from ScreenCloud. 10/10 would recommend. Pros I am in complete control of managing our info screens at six different locations. I needed the ability to control all the screens from my desk without having to run all over town. ScreenCloud was the perfect solution for the task. Cons I wish there was more instruction on how to link music. I figured it out, but with trial and error. I also wish there were more tutorials. I have the basics down, but I would wager that there are features that I don't know about that I could be utilizing. The level of customization is wonderful, if you are a creative designer you can do pretty much anything you would ever need in a menu board.Integration with growflow is great. I use it for 3 different properties and 3 different applications. Internal communication, a leasing selling tool, and a building directory. Pros It just works. Every day it launches and runs seamlessly. The Apps are great to pull current news and events and customer services are very responsive! Cons The integration with the Fire Stick has not been a good experience. The Firestick display needs consistent refreshing and doesn't work always like the web browser so does. Also, the trickiness of adding a new screen, not knowing to do a trial version first, and getting charged was a bad experience. Contact customer service and they got me a refund, but in the begin, I didn't know how to navigator a new screen. Reason for choosing ScreenCloud Recommend from an industry partner. We have several devices running ScreenCloud across multiple buildings and once it's set up, it just works. Cons The interface of the editor is a bit simplistic, and there aren't very many supported content layouts. Pros ScreenCloud was easy to implement and use, it made life easy to roll out digital signage across all our clients. We tried other screen services and ScreenCloud is far superior. Pros The best solution for in-store screens and advertising I have found for our business. Simple to deploy using Firesticks. It's simple to create and customize playlists for each screen, have expiration dates for time-specific information, and it serves up both images and videos, plus screencloud's own useful content too (e.g. weather forecast etc). Cons I have had some issues with Firesticks that have required replacing because of updates not being compatible with Screencloud. From time to time the app will require a little attention (re-boots, login etc), but most of the time these devices are reliably up and running 24/7. This has been more of a head ache than it should have been. Pros Ease of use is a fact. I liked the layouts and basic idea of this product. That was about it. Cons Needs more native apps. Not a very "smart" program (i.e. have pictures in a custom zone to a special size - this requires me to go back to marketing team to re-edit the photos down to what the app can handle. This should be done as part of the program to allow for overall easier use). While the support team is quick to respond, they missed the mark greatly in actually addressing the issues and are rather snarky when you point out the pitfalls of the program. There are misspellings in the warnings that pop-up throughout their app. It is all around a work in progress. Reason for choosing ScreenCloud It was suggested to us by another company. Although we've built ScreenCloud to optimize your images to look at their best for your screens, in some cases you'll need to edit the dimensions of the image to capture the area you want to show the most. Pros We use screen cloud to display live Twitter and Instagram feeds throughout our Campus. The interface is clean, easy to use and accessible via a web browser from everywhere. Lots of additional app integration are available and being added regularly. The Screencloud staff is very responsive and helpful. What I particularly like is the clean design of the displayed apps. Cons depending on the number of screens, it can get pricy and there isnt much of a waterfall for more screens.support is also a bit delayed, you wont get urgent critical support, in my experience you will get a response in a couple to a few hours. This product is easy to use and gives great results. + the new apps look fab. On the occasion when I have contacted screen cloud they have been lovely to work with. Very helpful and they gave great recommendations. I couldn't be happier with the product and the support. If there were extra stars that I could give I would. Cons I work for a small charity and funds are always tight. So the cost is the only thing I could see as a negative.
