During any Corporate Quality meeting where a discussion comes up about an auditing process and how it could be performed better, my suggestion is always "why don't you use the EASE system"? Pros I'm in the quality field and the fact that I can use EASE as a monitoring source for a multitude of areas is a huge advantage. From product audits to 5S audits, safety compliance, ensuring Poka-Yoke validations are completed. The drill down factor of the reports provides sufficient detail when continuous improvement activities used to better the processes audited. Cons I wish it was easier to drop information into an excel report. When I pull data from reports (and this could just be my lack of understanding or user inability of the system), I want to be able to download the data I am reviewing into a user friendly excel report so that I can manage the data as needed. I oversee multiple plants; I again struggle when pulling reports for each individual plant and transitioning back and forth. It would be wonderful if there was a "one stop shop" for each plants data.
